Fully insured, so your money is never endangered. Personal and business accounts. EVERY service you need: There is a national ATM network, debit/credit/check/ATM card, free checking, unlimited checking transactions, free online banking, check images available, notary, etc etc!! Caring, competent, and nice management - (Nancy and Gertrude). When I wrote a check from the wrong account and overdrew it, I got a nice personal call from the manager letting me know, so I could straighten it out that same day, and avoid any more fees. We now have multiple free checking accounts there (free because I keep $500 in a savings account). We are in the process of moving all accounts from Bank of America, after a few months trial at Northern Bank - they are the winner.

Example: I went into the Wayland branch to open a Savings account. Was with a manager there for about an hour signing paperwork,etc. I requested money to be automatically transferred monthly from my checking to this new Savings account. I joked with him and said I've tried to do this twice before years ago, but it never gets done correctly. He laughed and promised me it would get done this time. Guess what? It STILL wasn't done right! (I literally could write a book about the mistakes MSB has made over the 30 years.) When I call to complain I get representatives with bad headphones. They can't hear me or me them. That is IF they even pick up the phone anymore. Hey MSB, hire more help and get folks that know what to do. Today I received a letter saying that my "language" when I called recently, was vulgar and abusive and if it continues my accounts will be closed. Wow! I wasn't abusive,etc in my last call there so I left the Telebanking manager DONNA PAYNE a voicemail that I would like to hear the recording of this "abusive" call I made. I think it's time for me to finally leave this God awful bank. Credit Unions are much more pleasant, efficient and customer friendly.
