Although I wasn't forced to (given the other nearby options) I chose to make life easy and come her instead. I didn't see much on the route in terms of gas, but decided to make things easy. However, once I got here, I didn't see any other cars here, nor did any other cars ever pull into this station (until after I got done and was about to leave). It was so freaky, it was if I could hear a pin drop; it was dead silent here. The transaction went pretty smoothly, given the conditions I was up against with my GasBuddy card in-hand...right up until I was ready to collect my receipt. The pump operated smoothly, although when I tried to click it off at 19.70, it stopped at 19.71 just as I hung up the nozzle and I didn't even realize it. The pump told me to go inside and collect my receipt. I didn't know about the price adjustment, but I won't worry about the penny. When I got inside, I saw no one in their either. The one employee they had working was sitting down just off the main room in a small (what looked to be) hallway (near I don't know what). However, as soon as I announced my intentions with my "Pay-at-the-Pump" transaction and the need for a receipt that the pump said to go inside for the receipt (pump 5), the employee came out and printed out my receipt. I took my receipt and headed out. I know Kerhonkson is this sleepy town with little to no action, but it was TOO quiet for this transaction to have gone over well.

Don't buy diesel here. The management is too cheap to change the filter regularly which results in…read moreslooow pumping. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. Don't be lured in by the convenient location. Update I was immediately contacted by management who said the filters would be changed as soon as possible. I've used this gas station on a fairly given basis, and haven't had any issues while getting gas. The parking lot looks in great shape, with plenty to park and also enough pumps to fit each car. It's awesome to see this Valero in great shape.

My brother William keeps telling me this station is just as smooth for him. However, I used my GasBuddy card for the pay-at-the-pump transaction so I found some drawbacks. (I remember that it was something about the PIN was entered, but I don't vividly remember what happened). The prices are a little bit higher than other Valero's here, but they are comparable to other stations in the area (if that helps any). (Sorry that this can't be more helpful, as I had been on vacation this past weekend and didn't write down much on the back of the receipt about my experience, but I do remember some of it.)

I don't like to buy gas at Gulf convenience stores for my car. But after my brother has been buying…read morehis gas here often, I decided I needed to try it out. So when I got a trip that came to Abeel St Kingston (nearby) just the other day and saw my gas gauge, I knew it was time! I've been planning to get gas and write a review from a nearby store, when I came in, but chose this place that day anyway. The entrance to this store is a bit thin. To veer into the place, there was a car coming out. I ended up clipping the curb with my front tire. Then with my gas on my passenger side, I pulled up to the spot near the door making the entry easy. There was a car directly in front of me (who later backed up to pull out), and so there I stopped - close to the pump. I thought my decision was right. The pumps had no problems with my GasBuddy card - and I seamlessly took care of the pay-at-the-pump transaction. I inserted the card and typed my Driver ID (like a PIN), pumped and was able to take care of the transaction. However, just as I was about to exit, some weirdo decided to pull up so far into the pumping area that I thought they were about to hit me. My first thought was to move backward, but when I realized there's almost no space backing up, (with another car being possible there), I knew I had to veer someway around them after giving them a loud and long horn-beep. I moved around them easily, until the end. I heard a loud "crunch" (nothing happened to either car) and I noticed he continued to pull through and out. I don't think I'll be coming here again. I know I had come here in the past without problems, but now I've shed a different light on this place. This annoying other a**whole really changed my perspective on how this place is seen in my eyes. Please give us a little more space to move around your location.

This Valero is pretty big, having 8 pumps and even a big parking lot. Inside, there's so much to provide not only containing just simple snacks but also food to buy to eat inside and do takeout, since it's also connected with Van Wyck Deil, how cool is that?! I'm happy to discover this station a year back, and for that reason, make this your stop and you won't regret it.

So onward to the next gas station and again no luck. In the distance, there was Stewart's Shops. Something about their branding really speaks to me. I pulled up to their machine to find it in complete working order and unexpectedly free! No fumbling for coins, or feeling uneasy about using the card reader. Being a CDL driver it's really important to have snacks and definitely coffee in the morning…read more Whatever time they open I'm able to wait for my favorite blueberry crumble coffee and the ladies typically prepare it if it's not prepared already right away. They have so many variety of options. Fresh fruit beverages waters are a lot of times on sale, breakfast sandwiches and pretty decent pizza for the price. Although I still haven't had the breakfast pizza. The ice cream is always good and for the first time I tried their smoothie which consisted of apple juice and a frozen banana and strawberry pack, which was very simple but pretty delicious and again at a great price. I definitely suggested to whoever has not tried it. The importance with Steward is that it's pretty consistent and what I've had so far it's typically the case and hello people it's apple cider donut time.:))
