The Matcha Matcha Man was smooth, creamy, and dangerously easy to drink -- the matcha coconut cream with the ginger beer gave it such a unique refreshing kick. The Lady Marmalade tasted like sunshine in a glass with the perfect citrusy balance and just enough sweetness from the marmalade. The food menu is definitely more small plates/appetizer style, but honestly everything tasted super fresh and packed with flavor. The coconut shrimp were jumbo and crispy with the perfect sweetness, the mango habanero chicken bites super fresh, and the wagyu sliders disappeared embarrassingly fast. The real star though? The outdoor lounge setup overlooking the ocean. It's the kind of place where you go for "one drink" and suddenly it's three hours later and you're debating ordering another round just to stay for sunset. We had finished dinner nearby and were looking for a place to grab a cocktail, when one of my…read morefriends suggested the Hide Rooftop in the Artezen Hotel. The bi-level bar and lounge was dark, swanky, and seductive. It would make an excellent spot for dates or groups of friends, like mine. We started off sitting at the bar, as there were no large tables available upon our arrival. However, after about 15 minutes, the host approached to tell us that he could actually seat us. I picked up my glass, which was wet with condensation, and it slipped out of my hands. I was able to collect it with only a minor spill, but the host insisted that the bar staff make me a new cocktail in case the glass had chipped at all. It was a considerate gesture that I greatly appreciated. Plus, since I had already taken a few sips, I was thrilled to get those back in a new glass! In terms of my cocktail of choice, I had opted for the Hot Tijuana Tease, a fiery blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, chile poblano liqueur, and lime juice. So, it was essentially a spicy margarita, and it was excellent. There were clean, crisp notes of peppery heat balanced with layers of robust smoke. My only complaint about the lounge was that the bathrooms were beyond tiny. There were two unisex stalls in a very tight alcove that also included a cramped sink counter. It was awkward and uncomfortable to share that space with another patron. Aside from that, the Hide Rooftop was a beautiful place with a friendly staff and interesting drinks.

They've got table seatings with happy hour 4 till 7pm mon-wed, 4-6pm thur-fri, and bar seatings is happy hour whole day weekdays. Their happy hour menu doesn't have a huge variety but got some great selections. We had a passion fruit margarita, Amstel beers and some of their boneless chicken wings. Drinks and food were both great. The chicken wings seemed more like nuggets but had a really good batter and was fried nicely, fingers weren't really greasy. So good we ordered another one. There was only one bartender taking our orders so it took a while to place our order since he was really busy but he was super kind and attentive, kept refilling our waters when it got low. This is a great place to wind down whether you just want some food and drinks on you're own after work or if you got a small party to chat with, volume is not too loud. They also had one large table so all good if you're a big group too. I will think their rooftop will be able to seat even more big groups but will come back and find out next time! Great find!

It has a nice, elevated atmosphere, so you should dress semi-formal. Prices are on par with other upscale restaurants. The food has always been excellent and the service as well, most of the time. You absolutely MUST get the Clothesline Bacon as an appetizer. Make sure you slice some pickle with it and squeeze a little lemon juice on top! The manager urged us to try it that way during one of our visits - we never looked back. Rather than eating in the dining area, we chose to sit at the bar for their Foxy Hour (Happy Hour) offerings. There are plenty of tables surrounding the bar as well. We had the Clothesline Bacon, 6 Oysters, Hipster Fries, Spicy Lobster Mac, and we each got the happy hour burger. Everything tasted great, but the hipster fries were a little greasy and lacked the shishito peppers they had last time. We finished off with the Eclair Trio dessert from the Specials Menu. On two separate occasions we were seated at an awkward table in the back of the restaurant, right near the kitchen service area and door to the outside patio. We weren't thrilled to be there, as there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen and through the doors. I think they should just do away with those seats, so everyone can have a relaxing dining experience no matter where they're sat. If you've got a special occasion coming it, Orchard Park is worth checking out!

We wanted to try somewhere new and had never been to gusto grill before, so I suggested it. It was a Saturday night so we thought there might have been a long wait. Although the place did seem a bit busy, we only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated at a high top table. For apps we picked the korean sticky ribs and the shrimp and avocado spring rolls. The spring rolls were well packed and covered in a good amount of sauce, but not too much. The ribs were pretty good, but I don't think I'd get them again. I tasted them first and mentioned that they had a weird initial taste, and when my wife tried them she had the exact same thought as me -- they tasted like dog. Like wet dog. I know this sounds both ridiculous and disgusting, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Overall, they were decent but I'd rather try something else instead next time. As positives, they were very tender and decently sized. For our entrees, I picked the bulgogi beef bowl while my wife went with the bourbon steak sandwich. The bulgogi bowl was a good portion size and was tasty. Would've liked more meat, but I wouldn't say they skimped. The steak sandwich, however, was the highlight. The bread was their own focaccia which was great. The sandwich was delicious and the steak was incredibly tender. She was too full to finish it so she saved half and it all reheated well in the air fryer the next day. The ambiance was nice as well. It was noisy and it wasn't exactly intimate, but it was nicer for a casual establishment. Not where I'd go if I were looking for a romantic date night, but for a casual date night with delicious food, I'd recommend for sure.
