First time here. Ambiance: Folks, it's a self described dive bar. If you go there expecting fine china, that's on you. With that said, it's cozy, and the people in there when I was there went about their business and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Food: I had a bar pie with pepperoni and a cheesesteak. Reminded me of microwaveable tenders. The steak fries were ok so I ate those more but didn't finish them. DIVE ALERT! This YELP find was the perfect spot for the husband. He needed a fun place, close to the turnpike where he could meet his brother and decompress after the holidays. About 6 minutes off Exit 8, this cool dive has its own special beer, Docks Kick Ass Ale, think a spicy Yuengeling, $4 each. The bar has a full stock of liquor and a 7 other taps. While the boys did not eat, Docks does have a full kitchen. Other customers did order pizza and wings. Both looked great. Finally tried the food at docks corner after hearing apple rave about the pizza and wings. The wings were small, but priced ok , but nothing crazy. Was def thinking they would have been better. The pizza is very average imo , but did have a nice crust. Pretty plain taste with the cheese. Would definitely get the wings again though. This is a 5 star rating for a dive bar category. Loved the atmosphere inside right from the beginning. The owner, Bryce, introduced himself to us and clearly took pride in the place. I sat and watched as he greeted all his customers, knowing almost all of them by name. Our bartender was also friendly and attentive. The place was far from fancy but clean and cozy. We order a Kansas chicken sandwich which was very good. Bryce hyped up his homemade honey mustard dressing so we asked for a side of it to dip our fries - wow it was excellent. We also ordered wings, which were a crazy reasonable price. They were a bit smaller, but crispy and delicious. The Cajun dry rub and the hot were very good. These smaller wings have totally changed my view on wings. I always thought bigger were better but I think I got it wrong. Definitely try them! They also have 2 pool tables and offer karaoke on Monday's. I'm definitely going back. If you dig dive bars, this is worth trying! read more

This place is a total dive bar - an honest to goodness, true "hole in the wall" sort of place, and I *love it*. If you want a super "modern" bar to drink $12 cocktails at, look elsewhere. If you're looking for what might be one of the best 'watering holes' in the area, read on. It's no secret, when it comes to bars - as long as I don't have a cockroach in my beer, or a rat tail sticking out of my food, the 'divier' the place, the better for me. Sure, I do have quite a few more upscale bars that I frequent, most of them with larger brew selections, but hey, those joints usually cost a ton more, and don't attract the true "down to earth" crowds that you get at a solid dive. And Dock's? Docks is a SOLID bar. First of all, the parking lot hasn't been repaved since what I can only assume was 1983, and the interior remains largely untouched from roughly the same time period. The floor tiles are peeled up and missing in most areas, exposing the wooden subfloor, and the pool tables work on a semi "honor system", since the coin-op mechanisms were ripped out years ago; you put $1 on the bar, to play a game. For beers, they had three at the time of this writing: Miller Lite, PBR, and "Dock's Kick Ass Ale", a brew made specifically for the bar, by Leinenkugel (I believe?). Prices are nice and cheap, at ~$4 a pint. The food is surprisingly good, as well. Typical bar fare applies here - quesadillas, wings, fried food out the wazoo, burgers, etc. All of which is nice and affordable, so you don't need to quaff loads of beer on an empty stomach. The quesadilla I had was a highlight, and was actually pretty "up there" in terms of flavor, more than I expected, and quite filling. I honestly can't wait to try some of the other fare there, they obviously take pride in their food, so don't let the "divey" appearance fool you. I'm gonna be back here again, for sure. It may be showing its age, but that's just part of the charm. This is a true local's bar, and since I have quite a few friends in the area, I can see myself coming here a lot. The place is run by a family who is personable and accommodating. The food is beyond amazing, everything is made at the time of order, no frozen food here. There are two pool tables, darts, and a mega touch. The vibe is country folk but the people are very friendly. It's hard to find at first if you trust google maps but once you do, you won't be disappointed. Stop by here any night, grab a cheesesteak, quesadilla, or anything for that matter because everything is delicious. They also have carry out if you need somewhere late to pick up. Stopped at Dock's this evening whilst forging the horrific traffic on Cranbury Rd during a HUGE (said ala Donald Trump) snowstorm . (NOT ! 3 inches or less of snow turned the road into a standstill traffic jam.) Anyway, I've driven past this dive-y looking joint many times and have often thought of stopping for package goods, but never did. I had some really good quality mozzarella-sticks and a cold one (wish I knew about their special ale). As I sat for two hours waiting for rush hour to be over, the place picked up steam and was kinda hoppin'! Folks around me had some fine looking burgers and I wish I had gotten one.
