I was informed that there is a $5 minimum purchase to use a debit/credit card, so I had to buy two cans of snuff. Just a heads-up, in case you don't have cash money and you just want a Coke. Or a can of snuff...which I imagine that you don't want. I understand why they do this, with "swipe fees" and other transaction costs. The employees are always very friendly and I stop here quite a bit. That pizza in the glassed-in warmer on the counter next to the register kind of freaks me out, though. It might actually be the best pizza ever, but I'd bet against that. And I want to reiterate that you should avoid the general vicinity when Pace High School adjourns for the day...the traffic is crazy and there should be loudspeakers that play the Benny Hill theme song at high volume to accompany the craziness.

Smaller convenience store. Neighborhood store so everybody knows everybody. Decent selection of…read moresnacks/drinks. Some hot food but not much. Four pumps are available but the parking is small, VERY small. They also have a red box out front that usually has a pretty good selection. What I don't like about this store is that people are kind of hanging around outside a lot of times, mostly guys. This usually prompts me to drive the other way to the nearby circle K.

That Tom Thumb needs a parking lot attendant. Brand new store and pumps. It is a snap to pay for your stuff and the store is clean. It has the usual variety found in every gas station/convenience store, I suppose. The guy behind the counter the other day's English wasn't very good and it made getting the correct variety of snuff a coin flip, but we eventually succeeded. He was pleasant, though.

I stopped by this location on my lunch break to grab a few things. Everything was fine up until…read morecheckout. There is a trainee on duty, I believe his name is Seth who was being trained by a young woman whom I did not catch a name of. She was incredibly rude to him and very condescending when she spoke to him. I am sure he is a bit nervous being that he is new. However this does not justify the way she spoke to him, her tone was completely out of line. And the fact that she did it in front of a customer is beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. Perhaps it would be better to have someone else train him, one who is actually helpful and not rude. Just my thoughts, I felt bad for Seth and they way he was treated.
