The general manager waited on me one day when I bought some wings, which by the way are probably better than Buffalo Wild Wings, at least on one of their bad days. Anywho she greeted me when I walked in with a smile and friendly tone, probably hiding her suicidal thoughts from having to run this place practically on her own, she was hospitable nonetheless. I grabbed a fountain pop that tasted way better than that one place that has a K in the middle of a circle, can't remember what it's called but the employees there are lazy and make you use self checkout. I'm getting off topic again sorry. We did the transaction and I went out to my car to scarf down the wings I just bought. I got the barbecue flavor traditional wings. They seriously tasted like some homemade wings right off the grill at my buddy Jamal's place. Dude can throw down on making some wings I'm telling you what. I went back in to grab some more for home and once again, greeted from behind that thousand yard "I've seen some shit" state was the manager. Depending on who is working at the various Expresso Car Wash locations, I always ask to ensure bugs are taken care of; the wheels; back window of the cab; and tailgate get some attention. There are a few of the staff members who are very good and others not so good at honoring this request. Value & Quality of services rendered varies with each visit, wished there was a way to have all staff members perform at same level like going to a your favorite fast food establishment - you get the same product regardless of which location you go to. Seems as if the Toledo has become the mecca for car washes almost like Starbucks in affluent communities practically having a storefront on every corner...

This is the site of the original truck stop in the area. The old Union 76 Truck Stop was situated…read morehere so many years ago and was always a favorite of mine. That was back before US-24 became a divided 4 lane highway. The truck stop remains, having changed hands a few times along the way. Presently, the sit down restaurant is closed, awaiting someone to take it over and put it back into operation. The restrooms are always clean, as well as the showers. They have a couple massage recliners and (I think) a video game or two. The convenience store has a decent selection of truckers stuff (CB radios,GPS units, antennas, lights, fuel additives, etc.). Typical truck stop prices. It also has snacks and refreshing drinks. They feature pizza (Hunt Brothers, I believe) by the slice. Hot coffee and tea are always available. Outside, they have 5 or 6 diesel lanes for big rigs, and multiple lanes for gasoline off to the right of the diesel. Their diesel prices are considerably cheaper than the local national chain competitors. A full service shop with 2 pull thru service bays operates during the daytime. They also have washout service for reefers. The parking lot is large and usually empty during the day. However, it fills up quickly when nightfall arrives, a situation the will continue to get worse as time goes on. All in all, a pleasant Mom-n-Pop facility that I continue to patronize in my travels through the area.

I took my car in on a Saturday because I was hearing a noise underneathe my car. There was no…read moreengine light on, no over heating or fluids leaking or anything else. They called to tell me that I needed a water pump. I had JUST had a water pump put in BY THEM about 3 years ago by Tireman (previous name). They said they woud stand by the work no matter what. I told them no way should my car need a water pump. The guy said he would talk with a manager and look into it and call me back. He did not. I didn't hear anything on Monday either. I had to go up to the shop on Monday to pick up my work keys. They said they were still working on it. They called me on Tuesday saying the car was ready but there was also an issue with the tire sensor. I said I had not had any oissues with the tire sensor.They said they would have a manager look at it and call me. I never heard anything on Wednesday or Thursday. I finally went in to check on Friday. He said he tried calling my phone and no one picked up. I have had work there before unfortunately and had no problem receiving a call from them. $1250 later I finally have my car. This is the second horrible experience I have had with Belle Tire. Close to 2 years ago I had my brakes worked on. They left 2 bolts out of the caliper when fixing my brakes. I could have been in a terrible accident. They said one of theor best mechanics had worked on my car. They did not care that they had me waiting for almost a week. ANd had I not pulled in to check on the car, I still wouldnt have my car. It was there and ready but no one had called. I have been without a car for 1 day short of a week. And I had to REQUEST information about the warranty.
