I asked a fellow driver if he may lend me a shower and he said sure. At the counter, one associate was nice enough to start the process of giving the shower and then out of no where three or four other associates started yelling that we can't do that and it's against company policy. I never felt so low and worthless and ashamed. I thanked the other driver for trying to help me and walked back to my truck.

I completely understand wanting to listen to your own music while working but having BOTH ear buds in is a write up especially when you are working the register and supposed to be interacting with customers, I also understand having a bad day however the attitude is EVERY single day I see him and I come in at least every single day. Would it kill you to say a polite "Have a nice day/morning/night."? Otherwise everyone else is absolutely lovely. I frequent this Circle K several times a day and for quite awhile now I have begun to notice…read moreseveral things that I think need brought to your attention.  I have even started to make all my trips during the graveyard shift if possible.  The young girl that works the graveyard shift does an outstanding job! The place always looks and smells clean, and I know the coffee and meal deal will be fresh when she's there rather than several hours old. Sometimes she doesn't get to the counter right away because she is ALWAYS cleaning something but she does say she will be right there or acknowledges that she saw you. She is always very friendly unlike many of the other employees. She is usually pretty busy with customers while I am in as well which is surprising since it is middle of the night.  In the morning I am unable to bring my children in with me because one of the employees with long brown hair has quite the potty mouth and I try not to let my children hear that offensive language. I also prefer not to go in the evening because there is a shorter girl with black hair who you always have to wait for to come out from the back and when she does finally come out she is angry to be interrupted and she is always very rude. This weekend I went in for my traditional polar pop and coffee and could not believe how filthy everything was! The floors were disgusting,  the food items looked like they had been spinning for days, the coffee tasted old, there wasn't much coffee to choose from, and the counters were covered and sticky! Of course the rude girl was there and didn't disappoint. She was so rude and snapped at the elderly gentlemen in front of the line I almost walked away but I already had my items. From here on out I will only come into this store during the graveyard shift when I know it will be clean and food will be fresh and I will be greeted with nothing but a friendly face! You need employees like her on every shift! She has definitely been my reason for 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a 1!

Brookys is everything you could want and expect in a gas station/carry out/garage with a drive through and a decent pizza (and other hot menu items). If you're not from the area, getting your pizza at a gas station may sound ridiculous. But trust me, it's worth the experience. And pick it up in the drive through for the full experience. One of three places you can order a pizza in Glandorf, Ohio...that's an economics case study right there.

Knight's Market popped on my radar thanks to Yelp Talk as I was looking for more specialized cuts…read moreof meat. I was DELIGHTED to discover via their website that they sold beef slices (thinly sliced top round) for rouladen. Rouladen is a german dish that's part of my partner's Christmastime tradition. So, thanks to Knight's -- we were able to celebrate/maintain some kind of tradition! I ordered 12pcs and it came in two packages of 6 pcs each (~3lbs) at $12.99/lb. We were able to cut each piece in half so next time, I'll just order 6 pcs or 1 package! I called a couple days in advance for a Christmas Eve pick up and it was pretty seamless! Knight's Market is pretty easy to miss as it's a nondescript gray building, but worth a visit for an order ahead specialized meat order. If you need something immediately, the butcher inside Sparrow Market may be better as Knight's Market is relatively small and only has more common types of meats/cuts stocked regularly.
