There's a Subway attached, which is a nice option if you're hungry, but we decided to wait until later to grab food. The layout inside is straightforward. The restrooms are clearly labeled and easy to find, located down the hall near the main entrance. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a worker with a friendly smile, which always makes a difference. The women's restroom isn't very large, about three stalls, but it was clean and well maintained. One thing that stood out was the soap, had a gritty texture, almost like a heavy-duty cleanser for oil or grease. At first, I thought I grabbed the wrong one, but after reading the label, I realized it was intentional, and it actually had a nice cherry scent. I took a quick look around afterward and noticed they had a variety of items for sale. I considered grabbing a snack but decided to hold off for now. This is a clean, easy, and convenient stop when you're on the road.

A rookie fleeter had come from the back lot, the wrong way against the flow of traffic in the lot, and tried to do a U-turn to enter the diesel fuel pumps. Not only did he block quite a few pumps, it was pretty evident he couldn't make the turn. So, others along side him couldn't get out and the trucks coming from the highway couldn't get in. A complete traffic jam at the Pilot. I have seen this before at other Pilots, because management courts the bottom-feeders in the industry and the result is a flock of rookies all nestled every which way in the parking areas. Add the trash that these drivers leave in the parking lot next to their truck instead of walking a few feet to a trash receptacle, and the place ends up looking ghetto. I'll admit, Pilot picks some prime locations, which makes it convenient to make a quick stop from the highway, but the lack of adequate parking, high prices in the store and at the diesel pump, make me look elsewhere. Today, a quick stop for those unfortunate to be caught up in the traffic jam will most likely result in a lengthy wait while someone decides to step up and untangle everything. I drove by.
