Not very often you find a gas station in a downtown other than small town USA. The lot was large and they did a good job of handling the snow that we got on Saturday. The visitor center is bright, nostalgic, and full of fun displays celebrating so many classic candies. My husband was definitely in his element. We left with Dum Dums, Bit-O-Honey, Peanut Bunnies, candy wafers... and apparently two T-shirts! The sneak! I only realized the second shirt made it into our bag when I looked at the receipt later. The staff was friendly, everything was clean and well organized, and there were plenty of unique gifts and candy you don't always find in stores. Even if you're not a huge candy person, it's a fun place to visit for the nostalgia and the history. If you're looking for a unique day trip in northwest Ohio, I definitely recommend stopping at Spangler Candy World. We had a great time and would happily visit again.

We looked at some of the displays on their history while waiting to see if a worker would show up so we could watch the factory tour movie. Eventually a very friendly worker appeared from the back and we bought two tickets ($3 each but it should be free) for the 15 minute movie. The 10 mins of the movie that actually showed the production was very good and the pumped in aromas were a fun touch. The rest of the movie was goofy and for the kids. We didn't play any of their video games which were geared to kids. That is their main audience afterall. We did purchase a few bags of goodies but none of their famed dum dums. Barely worth the detour...

I contacted the dealership to tell them that I was taking it into a local automotive shop... I took it to my local automotive and they revealed the problem and as they got into it more they found more and more problems... It's one thing to have some minor things come up "overtime " but to have it delivered to you with a ticking sound in the engine, and incur a bill which now exceeds $5000 is very frustrating and I'm sick to my stomach over it... So no I would not recommend this dealership... Anyone that can let a vehicle leave their dealership especially with no laws in Ohio with no lemon law on their used vehicles... there should be something in place to make them stand behind that vehicle especially within the first few days, "as is or not."
