A few years ago I learned from social media that Publix has really good handmade subs. So we tried and have had a good experience every time. You basically go up to the deli area and order. I got a chicken salad wrap with lots of veggies. My only complaint really is it was very soggy. And became difficult to eat. It wasn't bad in taste really just berry soggy and dripping. Next time I won't get that. It is just plain chicken salad. Mayo and chicken. Needs some seasoning too. The rest of the subs were a hit. I do have to say the deli team member was very nice. But did not speak much English. Which made it a bit difficult to ask questions and ask for ingredients on the sandwich. She was nice and we made it through. We will be back next year.

I don't normally shop here, but stopped on the way home from the beach to pick up a couple of…read moreitems. Since it was on a Sunday during peak tourist season, they were completely out of stock on several items I wanted to purchase. I was able to find alternatives, but the pricing was a little higher than what I would have paid at HT or Kroger. I do like shopping at Publix on occasion for certain things, and they often have good BOGO deals for selected items. Unfortunately for me on this visit, none of the items I purchased were on BOGO special.

Automatic doors!!!…read more Stopped in to use the bathroom, and a good thing we did because the Motel 6 we planned on staying at wouldn't let us check in until 3. Standard procedure, but they lost a customer because we decided not to stay in Savannah. I'd never heard of Parker's, but apparently they're some kind of chain, like Royal Farms up north. The bathroom had signs on the door about needing a key, but the kid behind the counter seemed confused when we asked for it. It wasn't locked, so maybe take down the signs? The ladies room door was partially blocked by boxes. I'm not above using the men's room, especially when it's a single stall bathroom, but we were able to squeeze into the ladies. The sink was interesting. Someone had tagged the trashcan. We grabbed some coffee, ice for Jeremy's insulin cooler, and some gas. It was a fairly lackluster experience.

Counter service was less than friendly. However, there is a catch 22 to gas attendants or cashier. Either they are too friendly or not friendly enough. It is important for them to have a balance in their demeanor especially if the town host many visitors as Savannah does. Parker is a hit for location and convenience. Service could have been more upbeat. Convince beats service. B+ for Parkers. I'll be your cashier part time for $15 an hour!

First bite - yuck The dough and crust was under cooked - doughy and chewy. The pie was loaded with cheese and sausage and very skimpy on the pepperoni. The cheese was bland and even slightly burnt- low quality. Pepperoni was tasteless. The sauce was missing - could not even find a trace of it on the pie. Worst pizza I had ever had ! Yuck times 10 ! Not worth my time to return. I'll just eat the cost and never order again. Was really surprised because it looked so good - but that's it ! Trust me skip it - they need some serious help to make this a better pizza. If your desperate go to the freezer section -anything you select from there will be 1000 X better !! They had preseasoned chicken breast for $3.99 a pound. Super cheap. We got lemon pepper and Italian herb. All made for you just grill. They came out perfect. We also bought burgers. 6 for $7. Good deal too. They do grill up kinda small. Small compared to the standard hamburger buns. More bun than burger. Just FYI. Everything is easy to find in the store. It's laid out simply. Signs everywhere. Staff is pleasant, shelves are stacked. Prices are basically pretty good. Some things are high but if you know prices then you can find something reasonable. Really can't ask for more.

I came to Kroger tonight (3/24/2026) about 930pm or so - possibly as late as 10pm to get some…read moregroceries that I wanted to get for the next few days. The Frito Chips were advertised on special for 4 for $10 or whatever the regular price per item was if you didn't purchase 4 bags of the same size/options. When I checked out, I asked the attendant if I could use a store Kroger/coupon card, as I'm not.a local and don't have a Kroger card (we don't have Kroger where I live). The attendant acted somewhat odd - and I wondered if perhaps I had offended her because I didn't greet her properly (though I was not rude) before asking about using a store Kroger card for the discounts. She didn't respond to me at first and then asked how I was. After we completed the pleasantries, I then asked again about the discount card usage and she agreed that she would be glad to help with my request. We made pleasant talk as she rang the order up, though her mannerisms seemed to indicate she was exhausted or possibly on some type of medication. I asked if she was tired and ready to go home, which she denied and then she talked about her allergies. We spoke about allergies for a bit and then I used my credit card to pay once the grocery order was complete and she used the store discount card to apply to the order. After paying, I looked at the receipt and noted it did not appear the chips rang up as 4 for $10. She questioned my thinking and I showed my receipt. She continued acting somewhat odd, as if medicated or something. I offered to take a photo of the coupon at the shelves where I observed the coupon and left my receipt with her while I went to the chip aisle. I came back to the register and walked up to her with my phone. She asked me to wait, as she had taken the next folks in line behind me by this point - which I did with no issue/patiently. When she finished the folks behind me in line, she looked at my phone showing the coupon on the store shelf with the advertised price and the brands, etc. included in the coupon. She seemed unsure and seemed to continue to question my logic as well as act somewhat addled. I decided to move on and asked for the receipt. She said she didn't keep it. I did not argue nor did I attempt to correct her. I matter of fact stated, I left it with you when I went to look at the coupon. I also stated that if this was the worst thing that ever happened to me, I would live a good life and I then turned to go. She called me back from the door holding up the receipt. I then looked at the receipt with her and attempted to talk about the question again. She indicated that I didn't use my phone coupon and that was the issue. At this point, I stated that I would not have purchased 4 bags of chips without the coupon and I just wanted to return the others and keep the bag if chips I originally wanted without the coupon/discount. She indicated I could not return at the register and would need to go to customer service. There were two other attendants around/in the area observing all or part of the transaction and/or issue I described above. I never observed either of them attempt to assist with this issue either. At this point, I decided it was better to just leave, as it didn't seem anyone was capable, willing and/or able to assist with the issue. It seemed to me that the attendant was troubled by the whole issue - possibly resulting from her addled condition - which I do not know if it was her ordinary method of interacting with customers or if she was responding/reacting to some particular situation/circumstance, or even me in particular, etc. I don't think I ever lost my cool nor do I think I was rude. This is just one of the reasons why the big box stores are not always really the better places to shop. They often do not have the personalized feel of a store where the ownership or manager or the employee has a vested interest in high level customer service. I did not experience what I call great customer service and the situation was aggravating for sure. Again - if this is the worst thing that ever happens to me - I will live a great life. Regardless, the point is the lack of ability to provide good customer service and help resolve what should have been a simple issue. Better luck next time and maybe I need to just keep my business at the locally owned and operated Piggly Wiggly on the island. Their customer service has always been fantastic and they seem to know what to do when dealing with customers.

Finally a place to eat near New River Auto Mall and the food is very good even if the menu and…read morehours are minimal. Located inside the Dodge, Ram,nJeep dealership, they have a decent selection of breakfast and lunch items available at reasonable prices. Great for when you are waiting for your car to be serviced at any of the Auto Mall dealerships or getting ready to drop off your vehicle. Plus they have a nice seating area right there if you want to dine in or takeaway for on the run or even delivery to the dealer of your choice. I would even drop in here for a quick, tasty bite when in the area.

Tidal Wave Auto Spa is located on 21 across from Publix…read more It's conveniently at a light, which makes it easy to get in and out -- especially during rush hour! This car wash did a phenomenal job on my car. The staff uses a soft brushes to pre wash your car before going through the actual wash. The wash has a ton of features, lots of bubbles and smells amazing. The vacuum area is nice with several different nozzle options. They provide towels and cleaning products onsite. I will say, they're a bit pricey but I noticed a significant difference in the wash compared to other local car washes. I bought a monthly membership!
