Automatic doors!!! Stopped in to use the bathroom, and a good thing we did because the Motel 6 we planned on staying at wouldn't let us check in until 3. Standard procedure, but they lost a customer because we decided not to stay in Savannah. I'd never heard of Parker's, but apparently they're some kind of chain, like Royal Farms up north. The bathroom had signs on the door about needing a key, but the kid behind the counter seemed confused when we asked for it. It wasn't locked, so maybe take down the signs? The ladies room door was partially blocked by boxes. I'm not above using the men's room, especially when it's a single stall bathroom, but we were able to squeeze into the ladies. The sink was interesting. Someone had tagged the trashcan. We grabbed some coffee, ice for Jeremy's insulin cooler, and some gas. It was a fairly lackluster experience. read more

It was a nice treat to have a gas station readily available before we hit the road to Jacksonville. Parkers is right of the beaten path before I16. I filled up on gas and of course coffee. Counter service was less than friendly. However, there is a catch 22 to gas attendants or cashier. Either they are too friendly or not friendly enough. It is important for them to have a balance in their demeanor especially if the town host many visitors as Savannah does. Parker is a hit for location and convenience. Service could have been more upbeat. Convince beats service. B+ for Parkers. I'll be your cashier part time for $15 an hour! read more

Confession: I am addicted to Parker's coffee. Yes, grabbing Parker's gas station coffee has become one of my favorite morning rituals. It may be your average, run-of-the-mill coffee, but sometimes that's exactly what I want in the mornings. Plus they have pretty much any International Delight brand coffee creamer flavor your could ask for. It's a win in my books! This gas station is clean, and the people who work there are always friendly and wish me a good morning. It can be a little cramped getting in and out of their space on MLK, but it's definitely the best gas station option around. If you're a coffee lover like me, buy their $2.50 travel cup! This Parker's is so unprofessional! I'm at the register today and the cashier with braids is on the damn phone. She didn't tell me my total and was having a full conversation while I'm waiting on her to give me my change. The girl with the wavey weave, I assumed was the manger, looked at her and didn't say anything. I didn't get a , "Thank you" or "Have a nice day"! A gas station? No. Well, technically yes, but it's so much more. Open late (and early) and holding everything you'd ever need in case of a zombie apocalypse. We've stopped in on a low key weekday, after a night out, and even in the midst of St. Patrick's Day festivities and been able to grab delicious hot food, beverages, and even used the loo. What more do you need? Just don't stand around the bathroom waiting for the person inside to come out. You have to ask a cashier for a key. There is a sign, but those that are inebriated may not be the best at reading signs! read more

I was a regular customer at Parker's, but after my last visit, I will not return. I purchased many items along with three packs of cigarettes. When I got to my car and opened up one of the packs I discovered it was the wrong type (regulars, not lights) I took back the other two packs and asked for the cashier to change them to right ones. (Please note I realized that I wasn't going to be able to get the right type for the pack I opened) I was told in so many words "oh well, too bad for you" so not only did I have to purchase 3 more packs to get the right kind, but was out the money for the first three packs. I wasn't asking for a refund, just a simple exchange. I am in this store at least 3 to 4 times a week, but I will drive elsewhere now. read more
