I stopped into Parkers after a night out to grab food recently and something I thought would be a few minutes turned into a mess. They now have to have the Savannah police at the door and a manager to control the amount of people entering the store. While waiting over 30 minutes, several men tried to get in front of us rudely by pushing and shoving. After finally getting in, the food counter had no control over the process or their staff. The lines were insanely long and wait times over 30 minutes for food that was just sitting on the counter. There was no structure whatsoever. The place also was not clean in the drink and bakery area. It will be a long time before I return. I understand the theft issue, but the staffing and structure issue didn't help. I have never witnessed this in the past, after coming in multiple times during these hours. read more

Called Fancy Parkers, it's one of a convenience store chain in a restored 1899 Mediterranean-style building since 1999, renovated in 2017. We bought a variety of fresh ready-to-eat foods, and there's also the usual snacks and beverages available. This was in Dec 2024, and we got several holiday items from their really fun array of creative souvenirs, many apparently made by local crafters. It's on Drayton a block south of Oglethorpe. Parking was a bit tight, but they dont seem to mind as long as you leave access to the gas pumps. read more

This is a convenience store/health food store just outside the main drag of the historic Savannah area. It is set up in an old gas station but the inside is very modern and very large. They have inexpensive items like sandwiches and snacks to souvenirs and wine. The prices are not cheap overall but it's kind of like a fun upscale food market. read more

First time visiting this Fancy Parker's, I was amazed. The selection is great, they carry everything from gifts to French macarons, wine, and everything in between. I was so mesmerized, I forgot I was taking pictures. The store is clean, easy to maneuver around, and the staff was kind. You won't walk out empty handed... they have what you need and more. Parker's in some aspects reminds me of Wawa only they can't compare on quality, or price. Parker's food is southern in comparison to Wawa, and their drinks aren't made fresh either but the food options are cafeteria style so it's easier to get in and get out if they aren't slammed. The perks to Parker's is the self check out, they accept all forms of payment even EBT and the layout and options of the store are plentiful. You can even buy clothes, and certain tea and bowl assortments that are of great quality. They're my go to store and 222 Drayton St is my go to location, they're the only location that serves food 24/7 as well. read more

It's a fuel stop. Prices aren't necessarily better than any of the 5 surrounding stations unless you sign up for their app and give them all your info in exchange for a few cents off gas every once in awhile. The self-checkout idea can REALLY be a pain depending on who the clerk is. If they are lazy, you'll have a hard time navigating and checking out. It's kind of weird checking yourself out with someone who used to get paid to do that standing 2 feet away from you, watching you do their job. Anyway, again, just your average fuel stop. I was told I had to not think twice and go get the fried chicken from the gas station. I complied and highly recommend. Call me a socially awkward introvert but I am LIVING for this tech focused store. You go to the deli and self-order from a screen. Take the receipt to the front where you pay at the self-serve register. Then go back to grab your food that will be ready. Sure, it would be easier to add a pay option at the deli but whatever. I went with the chicken fingers (I'm sure the fried chicken is where it's at, too) and potato wedges. When I say they were fried to perfection, I mean they took me to another universe. I can't stop thinking about it. There's a layer of batter on the wedges, too. Ooh that crispy, fried deliciousness was unreal. The 3 piece meal comes with a drink and clocks in under $10. Fancy Parkers has an excellent reputation that precedes it, so I was excited to check it out! First attempt, so crowded that I had to abandon mission due to no parking. Second attempt, everyone was so professional, incredible breakfast. Third visit, everything was fine until I went to get (expensive!) gas. Pump 3 would not work. I've been driving for a while so, pretty sure I know how to pump gas! So I go in, employee Danielle, clearly overwhelmed due to her sighing and eyeball rolling, assumed I used a card so the money must have gone back. I let her know I used cash. She eventually confirmed there's money on the pump, but the thing is still not working. I go back in, she begins to yell she is only one person! Put her head in her hands, the whole nine yards. A second employee steps in and says she will move the money to a different pump. Still nothing. It's almost comical at this point. I asked for a refund and new hot food. Not your typical market. A friend who spends a lot of time in Savanah said go to Parkers Market, IFKYK. A lot of options for food and most is fresh made in house. In a very old Mediterranean style building with gas pumps and some interesting items including a small Christmas section. The Wine and beer and canned margaritas are a nice touch. The wine area has a nice selection and some nice higher end wines. Parkers Kitchen has a salad bar, breakfast bowls, fish and grits, biscuits, hand breaded chicken, sandwiches, great lemonade and more. So i wouldn't ordaniaeily review a convenience store but ummmm... the chicken I stopped in for a quick bite on way back to nearby hotel.. I don't typically get chicken tenders but didn't want thighs or wings which were the other chicken options.. Omg.. soooo good. Parkers corporation is by far the worst gas station! They don't keep their gas pumps up to par and when you have a question about Parkers club prices, etc., the cashiers are clueless....and God forbid your card get jacked up and have to order another one! I let my sister use my card to pay inside and she put the wrong pin in so my card is now locked and has been for almost 4 months because I cannot get anyone to answer, nor will they reply to my email messages. The new way of ordering from the deli is anything but convenient. The employees stand behind the counter, offering absolutely no help as customers struggle to "check THEMSELVES out" because the station where they check the customer out says "Closed." I'm 51 years old and use a computer daily so I am familiar with technology. Like another review, I was shocked that in spite of the sign stating masks were required, every employee in the food prep service area was without a mask. I was in Savannah and in need of a place to stop in and pick up some necessities (like water, seltzer, wine, snacks etc.) for our airbnb on our walk home from dinner. I found Parker's on Yelp and decided it fit the bill so we stopped in. It's part of a gas station which surprised me from the pictures and from the interior as it's legitimately fancy inside. Imagine a gas station with the most upscale convenience store you've ever seen and this is it. I was a little bummed they didn't have sparkling water in six packs but a small bottle was fine for the night and for how easy this was on the way back to where we were staying. It's tucked away on a side street in downtown Savannah, but Parker's is a great stop for snacks, sodas, meals, and even souvenirs. Parker's carries a lot of local products that are sold in the shops downtown, which may be more convenient since Parker's has free 15-minute parking and you won't have to venture downtown. When in Savannah for a race, we discovered Parkers was only a block away from our hotel, so we stopped by several times. My favorite item was the chocolate chunk cookie for only $2! They were crispy on the outside, but softer in the middle and each bite had chocolate chips. The staff members were nice and cordial and the store itself was very clean and well organized. Seriously, just go here for the BEST double battered, double fried pork chop in the US of A. It's a lovely fill up station with lots of drink options (bottled, fountain, frozen.) They have lots of food options, but we only had the pork chop and it was sooooo good. They do have gas as well as it is a true fill up station. It is a vintage place and nice to look at and explore.
