Great store open 24/7, good selection of food and drinks, wide open space, not packed too tightly, and fast pumps. Bathroom was clean, too.

The place has a great local vibe and a busy, energetic atmosphere. The cashier was pleasant, respectful, and gave excellent recommendations. It's definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out--clearly a spot both locals and well-researched visitors find. Loved the local artwork for sale on the walls, which added to the character of the space. Everything about the experience felt authentic and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're nearby and want a solid, memorable lunch.

Ok, this is one of the first places in Savannah where the price matched with the portion. $3.75 for a slider and $1.50 for half tray of fries. Also $1 for a side of ranch, but can't complain it was a big portion of ranch. We ordered just the regular sliders, one without veggies (for me) and one with veggies (for my girlfriend). The patties themselves were flavorful, but it was really just the patty, I barely noticed the bacon. Bacon cut could've been thicker, or another piece of bacon; to make the layers for distinct. My girlfriend said she didn't realize there was bacon, she did enjoy the slider however. The fries were so good. It kind of reminds me of the In-n-Out well-done fries; superrrr crisp. The ranch was really good too, garlicky a little, and thick consistency. The service was fast and nice. We were one of the first people in, so everything moved smoothly. The ambience is very homey feeling, like I'm eating in someone's home - which I enjoyed. I don't like when a burger spot tries to glorify the inside even though they're just burgers. To sum it up: If the slider had a thicker slice of bacon on the burger, not really thick, maybe the thickness of 2 pieces of bacon just to get the difference textures, this would be 5/5.

I can't believe I've been to Forsyth Park dozens of times and never even knew this place was here!…read moreFun 1940s ambience and fantastic food! Service was super easy and fast. We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. We both had the coleslaw, a very generous portion! From now on, this will be THE stop for lunch out at Forsyth Park!

Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

10/10 - A Must-Stop Every Time I've been coming here ever…read moresince I was little, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

This place has gone from amazing local food with a South African twist to complete commercialized…read moregarbage. Local Savannah foodie pages have been saying the same thing for years. Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.

You get a large serving. I also got a side salad as well. They were both yummy. The place is small but really convenient and right downtown. It's cute inside and I really loved the sticky notes on the walls where people had drawn art or wrote something cool. There is an art school nearby I think so there were some great drawings! The guy working that night was very nice! He also helped me find a drugstore just a block down so I could walk there as well. I recommend grabbing a bite at Spudnik if you like a fancy potato.

Super fun concept for a quick service restaurant!…read more Spudnik is located at the end of Broughton Street, so it's a little bit outside of the super busy areas. The restaurant is very small with only a few booths and some stools, so I wouldn't come here with a large group unless you're taking your potatoes to-go. You order at the counter in the back and then find somewhere to sit or wait. There was one employee working the whole place when I visited, and they did a great job cranking out potatoes and taking orders! The menu is all loaded twice baked potatoes. They have some really interesting flavor combinations. There's vegetarian/vegan options too. The Bufftato was super tasty! I would never have thought to put crushed up tortilla chips on a baked potato, but it works! The portions are pretty large and filling! This is a great place to grab a quick lunch to fuel your shopping and sightseeing on a trip to Savannah!
