We have been here numerous times and it's a huge hit or miss. Most recently, it was terrible. Our waitress was young and rather rude and unhelpful. I understood that she was very busy but she was quite rude the entire dinner. We ordered burgers and items from the sushi bar. The burgers were overcooked and the onion rings were the best thing ordered. I ordered the poke tuna bowl and the tuna was inedible. It was as though the tuna had been sitting out for 4 days. Very unique burger and sushi restaurant. I got the wine jam wagyu burger. It was very flavorful. I wasn't a fan with how much cheese was in there and the texture was a little odd to me. We found charbar in the Serg magazine provided by our hotel. They also said show your room key and save 10%. Very cool! Who doesn't love a good burger. I had rosemary truffle fries with my burger and so did my daughter. My husband got the hand cut chips and all were delicious. My daughter and I loved our burger but my husband says his pulled pork was bland or needed more sauce. Service by Pippa was great and I'll definitely be back! First time eating here. Tried the blackened shrimp burger based on the reviews. The shrimp patty with the arugula, pickled onions and garlic aioli is amazing. Fries were super crispy. The server was kind and attentive. As for the host- I was a party of one. It was the dinner hour so he asked me to sit at the bar. I do prefer to sit outside and asked him if I could. He said he would have to check and see if there was space for me. It wasn't busy, and as a solo traveler I have just as much right to sit outside as if I was with someone. Our server was very friendly and explained their menu to us, especially their specialty burgers, as they have some unique combinations. In addition, our server let us know they welcomed special orders or substitutions, so we should feel free to ask for anything we wanted. They use a mix of Waygu in their burgers and the taste is delicious. Their onion rings are very good, but their fries are some of the best I've had. I had to indulge and ordered a chocolate milk shake, but I will pass on that next time I return as it just so-so. We also tried a bit of their sushi rolls, as it is a novel idea to mix burgers and sushi. In this case, I wasn't impressed with the sushi and think they should stick with the burgers! For an $80+ dinner, you get 2 clearly not fresh pieces of salmon, Chili's style unappetizing burgers, and rice that looks and tastes like cement. The food was delicious. Very high quality, but also very pricy. We started with fried Mac and cheese balls. I was curious about this bacon marmalade and queso. It was interesting. It had the sweetness and texture of a hush puppy but it was stuffed with Mac n cheese. I also ordered an alcoholic drink, an Oreo cookie with peanut butter whiskey. It was amazing but they overfilled the cup and it spilled everywhere. The waitress brought extra napkins out with it and wet wipes in case I got my hands sticky. Wife got the pork belly bowl. It was amazing. Crispy like bacon, not too thick or thin cut, and the aioli they put on there was awesome. They only put 4 pieces of pork belly on there however. It was good but pricy she says. I got the champ burger. It was great. Toasted bun, grilled wagyu burger, cheese fries. I love a good burger. But like the wife says, pricy. For the burger, fries, pork belly bowl, fried Mac n cheese, sprite, water, and Oreo cookie drink, it totaled about $71. Still it was a great meal with great quality. read more

This was a really good find. We were looking for sushi and something fresh and we found this casual sit-down restaurant. Jeff was our server and got us going with a couple cocktails and helped us navigate their menu. He was very attentive over our entire meal...probably a little too attentive. He needs to know that guests want to eat without interruption every 5mins. My wife and I shared the spicy Charley tuna sushi roll and a 'build our own cheeseburger'. The sushi roll was super fresh and well made. The cheeseburger was cooked to the right temperature and with that great chargrilled flavor that adds to a great tasting burger. If I lived on Hilton Head Island, this would be a regular stop for us. They've perfected two of my favorite foods, sushi and chargrilled burgers. Don't miss this restaurant if you are staying on HHI. A hit with our entire group! We started with the chips and dip. Chips are great and made in house but the dip feels like an onion dip you'd get at the store. Tasty but not unique. We aren't into sushi so we all ordered from the burger side of the menu and were so happy with everything here. I personally got the shrimp burger which was so unique and was packed with flavor. Had a great aioli on it and I love that it comes on focaccia bread. Also the truffle and rosemary fries are to die for - the flavor is subtle and not too in your face - I ate every single one. We spent almost 10 days on HH and found this place on our last day (sadly). I'm vegetarian and struggled to find (good) food during our stay. My husband had the chicken BLT and I had the veggie burger. Both were excellent. We also had 2 cocktails which were some of the best drinks we had during our stay.
