On this Speedway trip I was heading to the Milwaukee area to catch the Red Bull event. It's conveniently located off the highway. I think the hidden gem of this place is the gas pumps behind the building. I even tried out the new Laredo Tacos that are replacing most of the Speedy Cafe's. Their breakfast tacos aren't bad but the quality compares to hotel breakfast food. I will say the shelves are stocked. Staff is sub par, bathrooms are fair. Not the best location but it is convenient at least!

Best thing is the produce because it's all fresh. It's comparable to the Cermak Fresh Markets. There's a lot of Mexican and other Latino stuff in here along with some other countries too. Has quite a lot to go through so you can find many good items. There's a grill to order tacos and tortas. Also there's a hot bar and salad bar. Other popular areas include the bakery where they cut fresh loaves. Has even more produce outside, especially when they have pumpkins in autumn. The prices are okay for being fresh. The gas was priced @ $284.9/gallon. FYI Shell Gas has always been my Number 1 preferred Option, but because of the huge price discrepancy I use Costco Gas. In this case it was 10 cents less then the Costco in Niles @ $294.9/gallon. Typically Costco runs 20-30 cents less then the other gas stations. The difference being one gas station is in CROOK County and the other is in Lake County. Anywho I gassed up my car at Shell in Lake County and saved a few bucks.

Sara Power's incompetence was on full display as she mishandled my prescription, causing delays and errors that could have had serious consequences for my health. Her dismissive attitude and lack of attention to detail were shocking and completely unacceptable. Not only did Sara Power fail to provide the basic level of care and service expected from a pharmacist, but her rude and condescending behavior towards me and other customers was downright disrespectful. It was abundantly clear that she had no regard for the well-being or concerns of those she was supposed to be helping. I would strongly advise anyone in the Gurnee area to steer clear of this Walgreens location and to avoid any interactions with Sara Power. Her incompetence and lack of professionalism have no place in a customer-facing role, and I would caution anyone in need of pharmacy services to seek assistance elsewhere. This experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would not wish it upon anyone else. Victoria and Hailey, on the other hand we're very friendly daily, and I could tell by their facial expressions that this is something that they have previously experienced.

Mind you, I just got new insurance and CVS is one of the options by way of Optum. I assured him that he was incorrect and then he says 'call your insurance, they'll tell ya'.... I called this location and they first told me they didn't have any record of me at their location and told me to call a different location and that location said it was at their location. I called back and spoke to the manager this time, and he continued to say that they had no record of me and asked why I was going to this location as if that was pertinent information for him. He continued to be very sassy and rude so I became frustrated as he did not believe me that the app and the other location both said that the medication was ready at his location. I then asked to speak to somebody else, and he said there was nobody else at their location. Magically there was somebody else there and when she checked, she found the prescription. She stated that she didn't scroll to the bottom of my profile, which they originally said, didn't exist, to see the prescription. I strongly advise staying clear of this location if possible. It is clearly a very poorly run store with employees who lack proper training and customer service skills.
