BOATERS BEWARE!!! We…read morefilled up our boat on 7/26/11 and later that day had to take our boat back to the dealer because the engine stopped. Our carburetor had to be taken apart and rebuilt. The cause was bad gas. Now I hate pointing fingers but this is the only gas station we have ever filled up our boat at. The boat is only a year old and should have never had this problem and worst of all Mercury does not warranty carburetors. Definately an expensive day!!! This warning is to all the boaters who may fill up here. The dealer said that marine engines are really sensitive when it comes to bad gas. This does not mean the gas here is bad for your car but it may harm your marine engine. We will never fill up our boat here again.
