But the owner is rarely in the store. They do everything possible not to issue the refund. If you are an out of towner you are out of luck. I called many times, and made several trips to get the refund. Sometimes they hang up and sometimes they don't pick the telephone at all if they know you calling about a refund. After about ten calls and four trips, they gave me partial refund. Very unethical business.

I pulled my SUV into the car wash, paid and hit the start button. Nothing turned on. I waited a few seconds and pressed the start, again. Nothing. So I then pressed the "help" button on the machine. It was the chicken cook from a next door restaurant. He was talking to the owner on his cell trying to get the car wash to work... I said just get me out of here and give me my money back. In the end the chicken man said the car wash was broke "no kidding" and I should go in to get my money back. I wanted to scream at the manager for ignoring my calls for help and leaving me in there for 20-30 minutes. But they said he wasn't in. That's BS!! The chicken man said sorry and the cashier gave me a car wash code for a 8 dollar wash. Wow !! All that and they couldn't even upgrade me to a 12 dollar wash. TERRIBLE customer service!!! I reached out to corporate over the situation and they ignored both my wife and I after an initial canned response. It breaks my heart to sever my once loyal ties with Thorntons over this station's poor customer policies and treatment. This was not my primary Thorntons, but the complete lack of customer appreciation by this station and the corporation led me to this.

But I didn't get any gas in at all. Then he said he would put in $5 for the different number section. So I went to put gas in but why did I get $5 when I paid for $10? After I went to get the car wash, I went back in again because maybe there was some misunderstanding. I told him maybe he misunderstood me and I misunderstood him since I'm hard of hearing. And he yelled at me saying that I owed him $5. I don't understand why I owed him $5 when I paid $10 and only got $5 worth of gas! I'm not happy with this especially with him yelling at me in front of other customers behind me. Very rude and I won't be coming back again.
