Heading back to Cleveland from Racine the Costco in Pleasant Prairie seemed to be the best option. Located near to the Wisconsin and Illinois border it was a great place to fill the gas tank in the cheaper Wisconsin prices. I was especially happy to see that the gas prices here were significantly lower then any other Costco or other gas station on this trip. Of course Costco stores are similar, although it was fun to see what specific items differ. Here I was happy to see that they could sell alcohol and that the prices were very reasonable. They also were selling and sampling Kringle which is a wonderful pastry circle. Located not too far from the highway this Costco ended up being a great stop on this road trip.

We went on a Saturday one time because we needed something last minute and we had to wait in a line that was quite literally the length of the store. But the bright side is that they have everything in stock and their check out lines were quick and efficient. With the wait of the line for check out we had one person wait while the other got a snack, and it took just as long for that that by the time I got through the check out line I was waiting for my husband with food. I will stay the staff is incredibly friendly and I feel comfortable asking for where things are since things are always moving without feeling like I'm ruining someone's mojo. All in all a great Costco! Just super long lines but they handle it like champs!

My god the gas is $0.68/gal less than the cheapest gas @ Costco in Niles IL where I always gas up. The gas is always less in WI but the 48 miles to Woodman's makes it unrealistic to go there unless we are in the area. WOW $0.68/gallon less than The Niles Costco (cheapest gas in my area). Definitely worth going to if you're in the area. FYI I was talking to the guy at the next pump & he told me the Costco (which I didn't know) was about 10 mins away from the Woodman's. I always gas up at Costco because of the lower price good quality gas & a 5% premium back on my Citi Costco card

They started with "World's Largest Kwik Trip", which was just great because it's literally just a regular Kwik Trip. Then they went to "Over 200 parking spaces" (might be misremembering the number, but it was high enough to warrant being the top billing on their billboard).. Now I guess neither of those were a big enough draw, because their current billboard proudly advertises "Kwik Trip: Free Parking". While the other competitors and establishments along this stretch of I-94 through rural Wisconsin may charge exorbitant prices for parking or insist you validate your parking ticket with your purchase, rest assured that the Kwik Trip has free parking. To this end, I've got some ideas for future billboards that I'm sharing with you free of charge (just like their parking): Gasoline at every pump! Individually-wrapped candy bars! Restrooms with running water! Frozen ice! Paper receipts! Free sunshine (daytime hours only)!* The restrooms have locking doors! Napkins! Live human cashiers! Always truly a trip being able to visit such a landmark destination during my commute.

The manager was most helpful when I had issues with the air pump during the Polar Vortex -22° day. The carwash is pretty good, and although a tad pricey, it's worth it.
