I opened the app and saw a $5 pizza special - if you order on the app and pickup. I ordered on the app and headed to my car and indicated I was on the way. I arrived in about 8 minutes and my pizza was ready to go. Pretty Kwik! I brought it back to the office and ate in the cafe. The pizza was pretty big and normal cost is $11.99. I ordered it well done. The cheese was a nice cook and the sauce was decent. The crust was not too thick or too thin. I think the pizza was decent for gas station food and the $5 price was a bargain. I'd get it again if I were to get food at Kwik Trip.

On the way up to Milwaukee, I stopped at this Kwik Trip right off of Exit 347, and it's the first…read moreI-94 Wisconsin exit when headed northbound from IL.  It's the biggest Kwik Trip I have encountered, having a lot of pumps, and it was great with its clean premises and good prices and being able to fill up fairly quickly off of I-94.  For reference, regular was $3.539/gal, and in my hometown of good 'ol Park Ridge IL, it was $4.249/gal at a Mobil, sheesh.  It's also a pretty large and busy convenience store location though I wasn't needing that aspect of the stop.  I'll go with a 4.5 star rating and knocked off 1/2 star only because you still have to go through 2 lights and a couple of turns to get into the station.  So it's not right off of the I-94 ramp like some stations, but it's pretty darn close.

He goes back inside and five minutes later an employee meanders outside and goes to a few pumps before ours, where he stopped and squeezed the pump. My husband is then rushing back outside and the guy said something like "I dunno, I guess it's not working." So apparently none of this place's pumps were working, with at least 7 different cars/people at pumps staring confused at the pump. Get it together.

Heading back to Cleveland from Racine the Costco in Pleasant Prairie seemed to be the best option. Located near to the Wisconsin and Illinois border it was a great place to fill the gas tank in the cheaper Wisconsin prices. I was especially happy to see that the gas prices here were significantly lower then any other Costco or other gas station on this trip. Of course Costco stores are similar, although it was fun to see what specific items differ. Here I was happy to see that they could sell alcohol and that the prices were very reasonable. They also were selling and sampling Kringle which is a wonderful pastry circle. Located not too far from the highway this Costco ended up being a great stop on this road trip.
