On the way up to Milwaukee, I stopped at this Kwik Trip right off of Exit 347, and it's the first…read moreI-94 Wisconsin exit when headed northbound from IL.  It's the biggest Kwik Trip I have encountered, having a lot of pumps, and it was great with its clean premises and good prices and being able to fill up fairly quickly off of I-94.  For reference, regular was $3.539/gal, and in my hometown of good 'ol Park Ridge IL, it was $4.249/gal at a Mobil, sheesh.  It's also a pretty large and busy convenience store location though I wasn't needing that aspect of the stop.  I'll go with a 4.5 star rating and knocked off 1/2 star only because you still have to go through 2 lights and a couple of turns to get into the station.  So it's not right off of the I-94 ramp like some stations, but it's pretty darn close.

The Sikh family that runs this place encounters more than their share of prejudice and racism (from ignoramuses who confound MiddleEast-Arabic-Muslim with South Asia-Indian-Sikhism) which just shouldn't be. This place has seen better days, the diner is shuttered, the interior is dingy, the coffee machines are relics of a century gone by. Sometimes, the coffee is just as old. In exchange, the prices for the sorts of goods you get at a truck stop are a little cheaper. Got a good deal on work gloves last time I stopped in.

Gas pumps still work but it's really deceptive that they would lock the doors up but keep all the lights on for customers like me that would want to grab a small snack or drinks instead of adding a trip 500 feet to another gas station. The clerk at first walked FAST up on me in order to stop me until she saw I'd use my own sink. She later came & started cleaning up around me, saying that this is why they don't allow dish washing to go on. Why insinuate that I wouldn't clean up behind myself?? I told her that I would clean up, but she kept talking & I eventually told her that I didn't need the explanation. She then got mad & told me to take my dishes & leave. I finished what I was doing, cleaned up & left. Earlier on, I did suggest that they put up a sign that says handwash only like I've seen at countless other stores.
