4/29/26- I really enjoy coming to this coffee shop and tend to save it for more special occasions…read more I ordered a Carmel Macchiato with Almond milk and extra ice. Service was quick and he made sure it was just right. It was also nice to chat about coffee with someone who really has a detailed taste for it as well. I normally don't write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to…read moresay something. I stopped in around 6:00 pm to get some work done before a cycling class. The first thing the cashier told me was that the espresso machines were already shut down and that only hot tea was available. I asked what time the shop closed, and he said 7:00 pm. Since I still had time, I decided to stay and purchased tea. After sitting down, I was told--due to construction--that they would be "locking up soon." I assumed this still meant 7:00 pm. I received my tea around 6:10 pm, and by 6:20 pm I was told they would be locking the doors and turning off the lights. At that point, it felt passive-aggressive and misleading. If I had been told upfront that the shop was closing early, I would not have ordered anything. I specifically asked what time you were closing, and that information was not communicated clearly until after I had already paid. Additionally, if the shop is supposedly open until 7:00 pm, it's confusing why the espresso machines were already turned off at 6:00 pm. As for the tea -- 2/10. I didn't even finish it. I'm sure the coffee may be good, but this is the first time I've been to a coffee shop where the espresso machine was shut down an hour before closing. Lastly, as a study space, it's very limited: only two tables with about eight chairs total. There are outlets, but not nearly enough to support people working. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing experience.

Absolutely obsessed with this bookstore café. It has everything I'm looking for in a study spot!…read moreThere's plenty of space to study both inside and outdoors on the patio, which makes it super easy to settle in for a productive session (or stay way longer than planned). The second you walk in, you're surrounded by a romance book-lover's dream. The ambiance feels like stepping into a cozy Hogwarts library. It's warm, magical, and the perfect place to get lost in a book. There is also a vintage-style Photo Booth that will print out two photo strips for $5! I also love the story behind this place starting online and growing into a physical bookstore that now carries such a fun variety of books, plus the cutest hip and trendy merch (hats, book pins, shirts, and more). The coffee is good, and their menu is surprisingly extensive. I ordered the cookie butter latte and was genuinely impressed by both the size and the taste. On top of all that, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you're looking to study, find community, or just yap with fellow book lovers, this is such a fun and inviting space!

Lots of seating. I ordered a chai and they use a spiced mix. It's good not the normal Maya chai you see at most coffee shops. They also have energy drinks so I'd say this is a typical "quick" coffee shop style where you shouldn't expect in house flavors being made or anything and very sweet drinks (which I love). I got an almond croissant which was delicious. They get their pastries from the Gadsby Bakery I believe. They're so good. The service was so friendly and we got our drinks so quick!

They offer complimentary wifi, a shelf of mission-branded merchandise and a menu of herbal teas and unique coffee drinks. Also a small assortment of pastry items. In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.

The barista was patient as I took forever deciding between all the fun drink options! The decoration was super cute: very light/airy and wood accents, just like you'd imagine in a casita! It's clear to…read moreme that it really depends on what you're looking for and I'm looking for great espresso drinks. I'm just not finding it. I'm a big Cortado guy and they have one prominently on the menu. We've been here a few times and each time my wife's flavored latte is quite lovely, but would it be if it wasn't iced? The service is pleasant, the cafe itself is clean and cute, they have a restroom for patrons. But when it comes to pouring a Cortado, they don't know how to do it. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.

They did not have much to eat on a weekday other than a simple pastry or a top level of scone. It was easily one of the best scones I've had in the valley - most taste way too sweet and are not crumbly, but this was a perfect dry, crumbly, more of a traditional scone with addition of some small chocolate chips. You might find it a little bit hard to get to, but don't be discouraged, right off of William Dillard Drive... you're gonna see a church campus on the right hand side, there may or may not be a sign out there about the coffee shop, but go ahead and pull up to the campus and make a left-hand turn and follow it all the way to kind of the north... And you will see the coffee shop. It has huge windows, and garage windows. You can sit inside or outside. With summer coming I'm sure that those will be shut in the air conditioning will be running in my understanding is that they have more food on the weekends. If you have children that have some extra energy and you would love to enjoy your coffee why they kind of tumble around, outside, this is definitely the place to go.
