She was very kind/courteous. There were many people working in there (nice gentleman and ladies.) They were diligently restocking shelves and keeping up with the cleanliness of the store. Being so close to the I-10 freeway, this is likely a busy place. There's many gas pumps and lots of room to park. Ahwatukee/South Phoenix is lucky to have this location.

Only problem is the price Chevron likes to charge people, especially its stations close to the Freeway. The quick-stop food store at this location is stocked to the gills with all sorts of great food, drinks, bathroom facilities and it's very clean! The man who was working there at the time couldn't have been nicer to my daughter and I. This was several weeks ago, but I saved my receipt because I knew I wanted to Yelp about this later. I don't remember the gentleman's name, but he was a bit older, and could hold his own with some of the transient population that would come in to the store. He treated them with respect/kindness (unless they were a bit unruly.) I'll definitely choose this location again in Ahwatukee if I need some quick gas/soda/etc - especially if I'm on my way somewhere and in a hurry. It's worth the extra $$

So, I tell myself, "I'll leave 5 mins early in the morning to get gas." Next morning rolls around...... oh shizzle, I'm late. I scramble outta bed and get dressed because I have an 8am meeting and I barely have enough time to get there! Jump in the car, open the garage and pull off to work from my house thinking, "I can make it to the parking lot by 8, so I'll be 2 or 3 mins late. Then something in my brain signals, "Look at your gas hand." I look down and suddenly the memory of the rush to get home the night before roars back into my thoughts! That DAMN gas light is on. W. T. F. was I thinking last night. I gotta get gas now. I pull in to this convenience store in a rush and in comes the irony that smacks me in the face? Convenience? I think not. A crowded gas station where I have to wait for a pump almost every weekday is no convenience my friend. On a good day though, clean and friendly people. Gas is always there. Cold water in the cooler. This location is pretty dirty and has graffiti. Personally, I think a skip in the future as I noticed gas cheaper at other locations as well. Lastly, they put a $300 HOLD ON MY COMPANY CARD! I only spent $11 and now there is a $300 hold on my trip budget. Ridiculous to put a $300 hold. Maybe $100, but who uses $300 worth to justify that amount of a hold?!

So when I saw the sign for this location I quickly exited the freeway to fill my tank. The location is right off the exit which was great since I was in a bit of a time crunch to get home. I was able to get gas pretty quick. Unfortunately the location including the lot is quite filthy . The parking lot is a cluster and I had a hard time pulling back out to the street since there was really only one exit and too many trucks/cars etc coming in and trying to leave. Service was decent, but man this place needs some attention and a better exit plan.
