Bad business practices here (false advertising). I stopped here today and happened to see that this Circle K was running a "buy 2 get 1 free" promotion on 16oz. Monster energy drinks. Even without the CRV tax, the base total for all 3 cans of Monster combined, is $9.27. If you look at the receipt though, you can see that they only deducted $1.52 and $0.77. That's a combined savings of $2.29. It doesn't take a genius to realize that that's not deducting the full $3.09 that an individual can of Monster costs at this establishment. I tried voicing my confusion to the employee ringing me up, prior to purchasing, but he just tried to make me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about. I took his word for it at the time, but when I actually got home and calculated it for myself I realized that he was wrong. I just wanted to give a heads up to anybody that comes here and thinks that they're actually going to be getting a whole can of Monster for free, that you won't be (even though the store is telling you that you will). The employees do not follow food safety rules. They don't use gloves when they scoop out the ice cream. If they use groves, they only put one on, and not on the hand that goes into the ice cream tub. I also purchased ice cream in a pint here once, and it had melted and been re-frozen. It was all crystallized, it was gross. Gas is fine though I guess. read more

The owner of this gas station is insane!My wife went in for a soda for a hot day. The machine was not working properly and my wife filled her cup but it was weak soda like water. So she tried another one the owner started screaming at her not the drink or sample the soda and demanded her to move away from the machine in a threatening manner and moved towards her as if he was going to attack her. I asked him what the hell was wrong with him. He said homeless people come in all the time and steal soda. I told him that doesn't give him a right to scream in a threatening tone at my wife. He told me he was calling the police and have us arrested. I waited for the officer. The officer said the owner said he had two irate homeless people and wanted us arrested, he was informed that he could only have us trespassed. By the way my wife and I didn't look homeless by far. My wife is a doctor and I am a nurse that lives in the neighborhood. The officer thought this owner was out of control. I said I guess it is not against the law to be an asshole, the officer agreed he is an asshole. read more

Place is a complete mess. First off, they don't care if we are in a pandemic or not because there are no paper towels or hand sanitizer at the pumps. This is extremely stupid because gas pump handles are some of the dirtiest things you can come in contact with. I always use a paper towel when handling a gas handle but I didn't have the option at this location. Then if you want to clean your hands you have to go in and use the sanitizer at the registers and they barely worked at all. Stay away from this location because the owners and workers obviously don't care about their customer's health and well being. read more

So today after having a good Thanksgiving, I come to my neighborhood circle k, to get me some stuff, anyway I get to monster's (Pineapple/pink can) I get to the register and the clerk is having trouble scanning my cans (no problem) then she asks me to go get another can but a regular one (last I checked I'm off the clock, but no problem) so I bring her one, then I ask if I can get cash back and put my card in to pay and I fallow the normal steps and take out my card and this little girl decided to get mouthy with me and raised her voice at me and told me I had to use credit because debit was out, she said she told me that, she never told me, very bad experience with this cashier. (Girl with glasses and a bigger girl) she then threw my receipt away! Horrible, you think people would be happy after work being Thankful after Thanksgiving! So.... I went there this morning to get gas and a soda. After paying with a credit card, card was already charged, I was asked to supply the last four of my DL#. I told them that I would not be supplying that information and they in turn voided my transaction. I explained to them that it is illegal for them to record any type of personal information besides what is on the front of the card. This was a complete waste of time and they are liable up to $1000 for each time they ask for the personal information. If this is happened to you, then please report this to your credit card company and to the Attorney General for your state. *When a consumer pays with a credit card, the merchant cannot record any personal information other than what is on the front of the credit card. Just now my husband took our ticket to the little scanner, and it said not a winner, but I knew that we at least got the powerball number right so he went back in to check at the counter. And we did win powerball plus 2 numbers!! And the cashier said our winnings were $6. As we drove away, I still had the powerball webpage on my phone so I checked out "The ways to win" link and noticed, we were short changed a dollar on our winnings!!!!!! I went to this store this morning with my 14 yo son to buy lotto and another item. I gave this sales person (Yesenia) $20.00 cash for the lotto and used my debit card for the other item. I've been coming to this store since it's close to my house, I don't do any small time chit chat with any of the worker there. I would just buy my gas (pay inside rather than stick my card on the pump) or any item, pay then leave. But I've noticed that this one particular person YESENIA always have a mean demeanor or a black cloud hanging above her very sarcastic with a very flat affect. Well anyway, going back to the reason why I'm doing this survery is that what happened today was just unforgiving. I inserted my card to pay and waited for the next prompt which did not changed at all so I asked her if I need to slide the card on the side instead. She just gave me the " you should know how to use that machine" look with no response. So I pulled my card out and tried the swipe card slot then the screen showed "Is this amount correct" I pressed YES. She told me to insert the card not the swipe and I responded but it already asked me if the amount is correct. She replied by saying " Ma'am I'm telling you to insert the card" then of course I asked "It did not go through?"....She surprised me by sarcastically raising her tone and said "DO YOU WANT TO BUY THIS OR NOT 'COZ THERE'S PEOPLE BEHIND YOU!!!" at the same time as she was grabbing my items. I felt so violated and humiliated, I told her that I'm a customer too...what did I say wrong for her to snapped at me like that and embarrassed me in front of other customers. I asked for my receipt and again she loudly said " OF COURSE MA'AM I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR RECEIPT". I left the store with awful feeling of embarrassment. This person does not represent this store/business well. Original review: The receipt paper is always out and the buttons on the machines are always burned out by cigarettes so it's hard to enter in your pin number. The largest problem is that the pumps often malfunction causing gas to spray out everywhere when your gas tank is full. My mother and I both had gasoline spray all over us from malfunctioning pumps on two separate occasions and the owner basically just said too bad and that it wasn't his problem. My mother is elderly and her clothes/shoes were ruined by the gasoline. I was on my way to work and had to go home and change all my clothes, making me late for work. On both occasions, the owner was actually quite rude about it to both of us and seemed very annoyed that we complained. Updated review: In recent months, it seems they've fixed the problems with the burned out buttons on the machines and the leaking gasoline by installing all new machines at every pump. That's good but there's still never any receipt paper in them. I live right around the corner but I'm still reluctant to come here after my past bad experiences with the owner. read more

Great gas station to pick up food, drinks and snacks. Lots of pumps to choose from, propane and even a pizza restaurant inside. Coffee choices are plentiful and they have a restroom for customers. There is a jack in the box real close too. My only complaint is the gas pumps sometimes do not pump normal in the early morning around 5am. I've talked to the gas attendant and he said it's an ongoing problem. read more

The Arminian owners keep putting in pizza vendors that make horrible pizza .. only to replace them with an even worse pizza vendor.. get something else besides pizza.. is it not obvious nobody want pizza there? but they do sell hard alcohol at a monster price..but i can understand that. license are not cheap.. read more

Not much to say. It's Circle K! Speedy service and friendly staff. Although there's an older man who works there and he can sometimes be a grouch. Not to worry as he's usually smoking outside the building and is rarely at the registers. Not sure if he's part owner or something. read more

This gas station is conveniently located off the 71 freeway. They never seem to refill the receipt paper roll as I don't ever get my receipt when I finish filling up. There is a Pizza shop located inside this gas station and in the same plaza there is also a jack in the box. This place seems to have the cheapest gas in the area. read more

Its not every day you will see an Enzo, a Lambo, or a 2000HP GTR pulling in a gas station for gas and jack's links beef jerky run. It happens to be the only premium gas of choice on the way home. While 7 Eleven charges $3.75 for Jack's Link Jumbo jerky, it cost only $2.75 and leave you with $.99 for the 44 ounce fountain drink. However I had to be extremely careful not to spill the shit in my car since cup holder is not an option in any of my rides. Gas price is average a little higher than usual compares to gas prices in Chino. read more

Stopped here on 11/9 mid 4am hour and bought 2 waters 2/$2 and 2 bags of chips 2/$2.50 and was charged almost $8. Didn't add up to me so I asked the cashier how he came up with that total from $4.50. He acted as if the water had been ringing up at $1.76 each, however, I'm thinking how long and how many customers have they overcharged? I politely waited for a refund as he broke out his cellphone calculator. Went in today for snacks, purchased a bag of chips and a candy item. When I slid my debit card it asked if I wanted cash back, yes, enter amount, $10.00 so my total was $11.49. Obviously I wasn't charged for one item, but I was charged for the cash back. The guy didn't know what he was doing and only kept saying, it shouldn't have given you the option for cash back and shaking his head, so he called the lady over who I've seen before. I told the guy look at the receipt total and it will show him I was charged for the cash back, duh. The lady comes over and instead of her saying you know maam, I'm sorry about the mix up it must be an error with our machine or something like that she stated "Next time......" I said how about "Next time you fix your machine to not give that option to customers so you don't blame us for your error". Just damn rude. Kids need to be better trained in customer service. Obviously I didn't tell the machine to give me the cash back option so obviously that function needs to be deactivated on your machine.
