New employees, a lot of maintenance work getting done almost every day. employees are friendlier, store is so much cleaner. Festive Christmas music, not that garbage rap that they always used to play. The manager is this really young guy, but man has he really turned this place around. I'm a frequent customer here at this Chevron it's very local for me. I've recently run into issues with one specific employee I think her name starts with a "C". She has a very unpleasant attitude, I haven't had any problems with any of the other employees. Chevron's new car wash sucks! Never purchasing a car wash here again. Not very convenient when you have 3 toddlers in the car and you purchase a car wash while pumping gas and no receipt is printed with your code for the car wash. And having to off load all 3 kids to get a receipt at the Beyond Food Mart was very upsetting. This happened to me 3 times or more already. Should have learned the 1st time. First two times i went into the store for my printed receipt. This last time i called to have the lady come to my car to give me the receipt instead of taking all the kids out. Reviewing the car wash and service since gas is gas. Came here with the intention to refill gas and get a car wash since I seen this place has one but never gone to it before. When refilling gas, the filling station has the option to pay for the car wash at the same time which I thought was convenient so I chose the Premium Wash (option 3). At the end of my filling, it didn't spit out the receipt so I had to go inside and then I saw there were FOUR levels of car wash while the filing station only showed three. The cashier was able to refund me and let me pay for the Ultimate Wash (option 4) which was nice. I'll give the man a plus for that. But onto the car wash experience... The car wash here is not touchless. It uses the big rubbery spinning machines. Avoid this car wash if you care for your car and don't want reused dirty tentacles touching your car. I drove to the car wash. Then apparently the car in front of me was getting the wash I paid for? One of the gas station employees had to come out to stop the machine, gave that car a complimentary hose down, and told them to go back around. Felt bad for them, they probably didn't know what was going on. It became my turn to go and as I was driving in, I also got the complimentary hose down as well but I didn't see the point since the the machine is supposed to do that, no? The Ultimate Wash was supposed to include bottom cleaning and tire shining but I didn't receive any of those. Feels like I just got a basic wash. Drove out disappointed. read more

So I have been going to this gas station for years and I have NEVER had a problem until today. I went in to buy a soda and this worker was being chewed out by her manager about what sounded like a workers comp issue. The girl was politely asking questions and the manager got more increasingly rude. The manager walked away in the middle of the conversation and the worker followed. The manager slammed the door in this poor girls face. At this point I mentioned to the cashier that from a customer standpoint that's pretty rude to do. He didn't answer. The manager opened the door a minute later and told the girl not to have conversation and to leave before she calls police. I finally had to tell her that what she's doing is rude and uncalled for and she has the nerve to tell me that I didn't see her slam a door in the girls face, that she "pushed it herself". First of all, if you need to talk to an employee you call them into your office, you don't grill them in front of the customers, that is completely unprofessional. Second, if your employee has a concern you don't walk away or slam the door in their face. And third you don't tell the customer that's standing right there that they didn't see what clearly just happened. This place deserves a 0 in my books but yelp is too nice and you have to put at least one star. read more

I will nevet go here again! First off there are flies all around the coffee area. You can hardly get your creamers for the flies attacking you. I asked the cashier why are there ao many flies in a place that sells food I was buying coffee but others were fighting flies while dressing their hotdogs. I've been coming here for years, not necessarily for the high priced gas but for their car wash. I pumped gas and the machine offered a car wash, which I accepted. Little did I know there was a small bootleg sign attached to the car wash prices located on top of the gas pump that stated "Car wash is down". I didn't think of it much and figured I could get a refund, no big deal. I went to the cash register and advised the nice Hispanic man what happened. The middle eastern man next to him said it's not his fault that I paid for the car wash since there was a small sign posted. He eventually gave me back my car wash money but made it seem like it was my fault. I figured, it's your equipment so it's your fault the car wash isn't working and the gas pump machine shouldn't allow any car wash transactions. I don't think the middle eastern guy knows anything about customer service. I'm sure they won't be open for much longer as the turn around in that particular spot has changed several time throughout the years. While pumping gas I notice I need air in my tires so I go inside to ask for complimentary air. there are two staff behind the counter one cleaning out her Michael Kors purse paying no attention to customers the other counting money out in the open I asked her if she can turn on the air compressor she says yes I wait at the compressor for several minutes looking at her through the window as I walk inside to ask her again somebody outside takes the compressor while I'm parked in front of it I proceeded to leave because they had wasted my time. Not sure why I keep coming back for car wash. If it's not out of order there is invariably a problem once inside. Today was no exception. Once the car ahead of me pulled out, I pulled in and the machine went down. Fortunately they answered the phone and came out to reset it. Still, it was a hassle. I never get gas here. Always .25-.50 cents per gallon more than everyone else. read more
