Even without the CRV tax, the base total for all 3 cans of Monster combined, is $9.27. If you look at the receipt though, you can see that they only deducted $1.52 and $0.77. That's a combined savings of $2.29. It doesn't take a genius to realize that that's not deducting the full $3.09 that an individual can of Monster costs at this establishment. I tried voicing my confusion to the employee ringing me up, prior to purchasing, but he just tried to make me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about.
