I tried to use the vacuum outside and it didn't work. The cashier told me that there's no way that I can get my $1.75 because "They don't own the vaccuum". I understand that items get contracted and such, but this is unacceptable. I wasted 1.50 at first and it didn't work, so I put in an extra quarter just to try my luck. Thanks, AMPM. The car wash is always out of soap. The first time, a guy who works there fixed it and had me go back through. The next time it happened, I couldn't stop and tell them so I told them the next time I was in and he said some of the car wash options don't have soap, there wasn't any notice to advise us. No refund. This last time, I called while I was in it, she said she didn't know how to fix it but offered me a refund. If you're in a hurry and need a quick wash... don't use this car wash. Today this location really showed their colors. The cashier put pump 15 in when I asked for pump 13. While I was walking to my car I saw someone at pump 15, behind my car, pumping. When I realized there was a mistake she berated me for not telling her sooner and then uncovered a dirty sign by the registers saying they aren't responsible if I gave the wrong number. She then said I'd have to show up in person tomorrow so her manager could review the video to find out if I said 13 or not. With the loud music playing in the store I doubt it is possible to hear. It is suspicious that someone happened to pump the gas I paid for and that all Norma had was blame. read more

This is the worst gas station. Car wash is AWFUL. Staff does not do their job at all. I waited in a car wash line with one car in front of me for 15 minutes because their car wash was broken. They have cameras and didn't help the car start their wash until the person came outside of their car to go in and ask for help. After that they took another 10 minutes just to get their wash going. Better off at the 7 eleven right across the street with people who help you instantly. read more

First time visiting this place due to its convenient location. My car was much in need of cleaning and washing, so I proceeded to drive into the carwash. I, then, saw a sign reading all car washes must be prepaid the inside of the store. As I started to back up from the car wash, I felt a little irritated by the fact that they did not have a payment machine in front of the car wash itself like everywhere else I've been to for simple car washes. There was a short line inside of the store, and when I took my credit card out to charge for the car wash, the cashier told me that they do not accept American Express credit cards. This was the only credit card I had at this time, and I did not have any cash with me. By this time I was really irritated. I opened up Yelp review, and this is when I learned of other horrible experiences at this car wash where the owner did not properly respond to the damages that were done to the cars. This is a large Arco station which means there are many pumps and there is never any lines. The gas price is on the lower side for the area. The indoor facility is very clean and quite large for an Arco station. read more

Only giving one star because I have to. I'd like to first explain that my family (mom and siblings) and I are going through the loss of our grandpa (my mothers dad) he just passed yesterday and we are headed to West Hollywood to be with my grandma because coincidentally it is her birthday today, we are very emotional naturally. When we first entered the store I noticed that we were getting glares from the cashier (dolce) and felt a little uncomfortable, but we picked our items and headed to the register for checkout. We were doing three transactions (mine, my mothers and my brothers) as three different customers, my mother was first, and she had her stamp card for her coffee and dolce was reluctant to give my mom a stamp, that is when I became annoyed, she is a paying customer what is the hold up? Then my brother was checking out and dolce didn't say two words, no hello no good bye nothing. And that is when the manager Carolina emerged from the back of the store on her cell phone having a personal convo with whomever.. this store was packed the line was out the door, I felt it was very rude of her. So then she realized that the line was crazy, and decided to help the man behind me instead of me.. and I had to wait for my brother to be done so that dulce could then check me out. When she finally did get to me she again didn't say two words to me, and I left initially but as I walked to the car I realized what just happened and felt very disrespected so I returned to the store to ask the manager to explain why this had just occurred this way and she decided to ignore me and proceed to speak in Spanish to whomever she was talking to, then hung up and turned to me and said "*eyeroll* what is the issue?" And I said "never mind is there a phone number that I can call?" She repeated "no there's not what's your problem?" And I let her know that my problem would not be solved with her help and needed a number to bring my issue up with whomever is above her.. she then printed another mans receipt with his name and debit card number on it and told me the number is on the bottom and to leave. I called the number and left a message and am waiting on correspondence from corporate. My advice is to avoid this store at all costs, they were rude and very unpleasant. My family is grieving and I know we didn't deserve that treatment we were polite and paid for our items. read more

The gas price is usually pretty low for the area but don't use the car wash! Often the car wash will default to the cheapest option even if you paid for the "works". One cashier will say that it's your own fault, you must have done something wrong. The clerk beside them will say that it happens all the time. Then they'll state that they can't do anything about it anyway. If you ask for the manager, he is not there but will be in the next morning. Of course when you call he's not available or out. Guess it's another place that doesn't care about customers at all. 3 cashiers, 2 of witch hid in the back when a customer had to come back not twice, not three times, but four times complaining that the pump wasn't working and the alternate pump they sent him to was marked out of order. Maybe the owner might want to spend a buck or two on upkeep and not so much on marketing of cheap beer and snacks with endless cardboard cutouts littered throughout the store. Went in today to only purchase a carwash. Purchased the $7.99 wash about 3:30pm. Dulce was at the register. As I went through the carwash, there was no foam disbursing for the wash. I went through the whole wash then went inside to notify them that the wash was not disbursing foam. Suddenly Dulce couldn't understand engilsh which is inappropriate for someone working the register at a ARCO. She motioned for the guy Bably who was working the food section and he came over and again, english was his foreign language too. This was extremely poor customer service. I was told to come back Monday, as if I don't have a job, to see the manager. I advised them I don't work regular hours and I'm unable to come back Monday. When asked for the manager name (Veronica) and hours, their english was so poor it had to be written down. Note to the owner, if you have employees representing your front line in customer service, make sure they completely understand and are able to communicate with your patrons. On the flip if there was a concern with a transaction regarding money, I wonder how well the english would be understood then. All I was seeking was a rewash with foam, not to be told by Bably that the wash I purchased didn't come with foam, because it does. When paying for a service I expect to get what I paid for.
