Went thru this business last night as my husband had a craving for ice cream. A carton of ice cream was over 8 dollars with a dollar surcharge if you used a debit/credit card...Needless to say, he returned the carton to the freezer. Same size carton at Staters is 2.99 to 3.99... seriously??? Twice the price? Sometimes 2 cartons for $6.00... Even the Ice Cream man that cruises through the neighborhood has more reasonable prices. I gave it 2 stars due to it being open after 8 pm...I normally don't give bad reviews but we've lived in Corona for over 35 years and on occasion I used this drive through dairy when I had babies in the car. It's basically a drive through grocery store, well more of drive through convenience store. Alta Dena Dairy is a bit of a nostalgic place for me because it brings back so many memories of being a kid. When we were growing up, my parents would always go to these drive through type grocery places to grab whatever we were out of. My brother and would sit in the back of the car and peek out the window at the goodies lol They have dairy based stuff and snacks like chips and cookies. Junk food lol And then they have the essentials; things that you need like bread and milk. It's a quick way to grab what you need and drive away. Driving in is so convenient. It's so clean and organized. I've been a few times everyone is patient and helpful.

BIGGEST RIP-OFF!!! Outrageously over-priced!!! I understand the value of convenience but wow, this is ridiculous! Expect to pay at least 3 TIMES more than your typical retail store. Not implying businesses shouldn't profit, but this is taking advantage. It's these type of small businesses I refuse to support and encourage everyone not to as well. I love these little drive-in dairies. And there are so few anymore. Nostalgia. In my childhood, walking to the dairy to spend my dime was almost as exciting as hearing an ice cream truck ding-ding-dinging its way past my house. So, these days, I am on my way home and, whooops, I forgot to pick up some cream or cheese. Or maybe I have a little ice cream craving (they still carry popsicles, drumsticks and It's It). They will bring your purchases to your car window and make change. Beer, sodas, candy, dairy products, breads. You know, the necessities, they are all still here. And the Alta Dena brand is always good and fresh. I love that they are still there for me and the moms, pops and kids of my neighborhood. read more

The prices at this store are pretty high. $25 for a 6 pack of Mango carts and a 3 pack of Modelos. My first time and last time here.

I didn't want to get 2 sleeping kids out of the car just for milk and eggs. We came here, a drive thru quick and easy!

One of the best places in town to go to if you're looking for some new craft beers to taste! I grew up driving thru here with my family if we needed to grab a last minute item for a meal (i.e. sour cream, milk, condiment). Nevertheless, this location is extremely convenient and is basically a drive-thru grocery store/liquor store. The cashiers are always very helpful and kind. If you're headed somewhere and need to grab a few last minute items but don't want to get out of the car... this is the place for you! read more

I love this place. I go through this Alta-Dena Drive In Store at least once a week. The Owners Kevin and his wife and the people they employ are the nicest people. Running out of coffee creamer/eggs/bread in the morning? No problem - a hop into the car before getting ready to start the day - they bring items to your car window. For a drive through they have excellent prices. Their breads and eggs usually cheaper then at the grocery store, and this is so much more convenient. Sometimes i am amazed at all the variety of products they sell. Sun glasses to groceries to pet products to alcohol and beer! They also care enough about their customers - to stock special items on request. Kevin is kind enough to stock my special brand of cigarettes for me, not readily available in most stores. read more

Drive through dairies are a lost art. Corona in my youth, had many. It was nice on a cold night or a quick trip from school, to be able to grab necessities without leaving the vehicle. Nowadays, the city has very few. AD has maintained the standards and I offer them respect and congrats for withstanding so long. read more
