She also became upset with an employee who said he was not scheduled to clock in until 4 PM, telling him there was no reason for him to be there if he wasn't going to clock in early and help. She even stated that she would fire everyone if necessary. I understand that being short-staffed can be stressful, but customers should not have to witness employees being spoken to this way. I hope management addresses both the cleanliness of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff, because this experience was unacceptable.

When the person on the intercom finally spoke up, they weren't understandable, and when my grandfather asked them to repeat it, they annunciated it very rudely. They then messed up our order/added things that weren't there. We eventually decided on just getting soft tacos because we were tired, and my grandfather tried to order a coke zero. Key word: tried. They gave him a Diet Pepsi, even though they had repeated Coke to us. (Side note, I also checked everything they had listed online, and they didn't even have any coke products.) The food itself was fine, but the experience made it not worth it... and we were starving. Yes, this was a summary of what I wrote... I wasn't inside trying to listen to someone's private conversation--the yelling was so loud that customers sitting in the drive-thru could hear it. Whatever the issue was, there is absolutely no reason a manager should be screaming at an employee loud enough for customers to hear. If this is how management treats employees when customers are present, it raises serious concerns about how employees are being treated when customers aren't around. A manager represents the company, and this kind of behavior reflects terribly on Zaxby's. I strongly encourage corporate or the franchise owner to look into this location, speak with the employees who were working around 7:00 PM, and address how this manager is speaking to staff.
