With so many Publix around, If the opportunity presents itself I can go a little further and try a different Publix for the first time. That was the case this time. My visit to this Publix got off to a slow start with only one sandwich maker helping customers while another was building a line of subs for what I assume was for online or delivery orders. The deli manager jumped in to help me, so now there were three people and still that line of subs, all working on the counter. Kind of fun to watch, but probably not the most efficient setup. The manager got my two subs built, doing almost as well as people that build subs every day all day long. With a friendly goodbye, I headed to the grocery checkout area to pay for my food. The custom Italian Sub looked a little beat up and soggy by the time I got it unwrapped, and it was very good and filling.

The store is centrally located on historic Pine Avenue on the north side of the island near the pier, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, the store includes Dips ice cream area in the front, colorful baseball-type hats and every kind of basic item you'd ever need in such a General Store, the floors are cool old-historic style wood floors, has the "feel" of an old historic general store, has a full-service deli-grill with a full array of deli items, sandwiches, yummy bakery items, granoli-type bars/crackers, beverages, etc., friendly employees, a restroom, and a big, relaxing area for sitting and eating or drinking what you buy in the store.

I had specifically requested to speak with Lee, who had previously assisted me with questions regarding my eyeglasses prescription. Regina informed me that he would be available in approximately half an hour, so we continued shopping and returned shortly after his arrival. Upon our return, Lee was assisting another customer. Regina immediately recognized us, remembered that we had been waiting to speak with him, and informed Lee that we had already been waiting for some time. She then graciously continued assisting Lee's customer so that he could help us without further delay. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that we received the assistance we needed was truly commendable. Regina demonstrated exceptional teamwork and genuine care for Costco members, making our experience an exceptionally positive one. Costco is fortunate to have an employee who consistently delivers such outstanding customer service.

But I have specifically spoken with Andrea one of the Pharmacists and I know I've spoken with a few others. A huge kudos to them and their staff. They have gone above and beyond several times for me. I am only one client. I am sure that they do this across the board for all of their clients which are probably in the thousands. The customer service experience at the pharmacy is unparalleled and outstanding. They have relentlessly contacted my physician in another state while I am tdy & dealing with medical issues with my parents for an indeterminate amount of time. They have made numerous phone calls about numerous issues and always, always followed up with me. Even when my cell phone provider, it inadvertently blocked all Costco's across the United States from being able to call or leave voicemail messages or text. They were still consistent and diligent, in going above and beyond on the behalf of myself. I cannot speak highly enough the pharmacy staff. For the rest of this costco... well it's typical costco.
