Getting electrocuted by old socket causing injury. Took having to CC the other property manager (clester@broerealestate.com) before even getting a reply. * Well over 25 + emails sent to 3 different property managers (Jodi, Paul and Courtney) since September 2023 regarding the issue of Towers residents repeatedly breaking rules set by CCT&G meaning we have been woken up between the hours of 11pm - 6am since September 2023 countless times only to occasionally get a reply like "are you sure its not people in the common areas?" when you can see from the photos the dog run gate which is getting slammed and area where residents stand talking and drinking and smoking clearly in the photos and just shows managements lack of care. I've even told clester@broerealestate.com that I will leave this review because it seems the only place you get any replies if you're a garden resident. * Ops Manager - yelled at the cleaning team for 15 minutes and threatened them all with their jobs, again right outside our window for not picking up enough dog shit when its the towers residents who let their dogs shit there and don't pick it up. Ive sent several emails including with clear descriptions of guilty parties- again nothing done about it * Towers residents constantly let their dogs out of the towers off leash as soon as they are out of the building causing so much chaos and dog fights. * Dillon who toured us only spoke to my wife during our tour and only acknowledges her since touring despite me walking directly past him only 2 days after we were sitting in his office and signing all paperwork. He also lied about the noise in the apartment stating he had lived in it and "was surprised at how little amount of noise was heard" Pros * we actually love our apartment and initially were so happy to live there * The cleaning and maintenance team are great and do deserve their jobs and most likely deserve a raise to put up with all they do. * Rae as mentioned in other reviews is amazing. She is the reason for all the positive reviews. (You'll notice property management is never mentioned positively once) I hope Broe real estate pay her very well cause she definitely deserves it with all the complaining she'd have to listen too. Amazing with dogs and really cares about her job. This is the first negative review I have ever left. It is a direct result of being ignored constantly for 6 months by the property managers. They do remove negative reviews so don't be fooled by positive ones if you plan to live in the gardens of CCT&G.

I lived in the gardens for 15 months and It has a lot of beautiful quirks, I am a lover of old…read morebuildings, but it was not convenient to live here. I struggled with a chronic fatigue illness over the last 2 years, and when I moved in I didn't realize that the trash is a very long walk from my apartment, as well as the mail, and the parking garage. I opted for street parking, but there was never parking when I got home late from work, and one night in January I parked next to the park near Speer and the hard top of my Jeep wrangler was completely stolen and I had no roof and was forced to move my car into the garage. The garage was nice to have, but everything felt so hard to do, including the laundry since it wasn't located in my building, I had to lug it over to another building. Every door on the property is a pain to get open, you need both hands for all of of them. The boiler releases a sewer smell and it filled my apartment all the way up on the top floor. Maintenance was great, and Caitlin the concierge was amazing, but since she has left, I can hardly get ahold of anyone. No one answers the phones, when there's mistakes with my rent no one answers me. The rent has been way higher than I expected over the summer, when everyone's using air conditioners. My base was $1612, but all summer it all shook out to over $2,000 for my one bedroom. I think it's a very beautiful apartment, but I just don't think it's worth 2,000 with all the inconveniences and there is no dishwasher. There has been a bent angled parking sign next to the dog park, and 2 days ago my boyfriend ran face first into it lol. Theres the smell of wet dog anywhere near the dog amenities, and dog shit everywhere. I have heard a lot of stories of people who live in the towers being really rich and snooty, and those giant towers completly block the sun for the entire neighborhood. I was excited to have some south facing windows, but only got less than an hour of sun in the winter when it peaks through between the towers. I wouldn't recommend people to not live here, it just wasn't worth the money for me for what it was.

Never happened. The guy in the office (Chris) told me after my car was broken into twice that if you make yourself a target for stupid crimes, you'll be a target and basically get over it. A girl in the building had her mail stolen and a threatening package left and he told her the same. They never have anyone to work in the front office because he's so lazy and just doesn't show up. We barely have use of any of the amenities. The fire alarm will go off for hours at night and they don't do anything. They don't have a facilities person so the building is always so gross with vomit and dog waste in the stairwells. They make residents pay for shared electric and trash is $30 a month despite there always being trash everywhere. what am i even paying for? It used to be a great place to live but sadly the new people working in the office have just done nothing but go on a power hungry ego trip and made it unbearable for residents. I have been targeted by this place at every turn despite being a great tenant and neighbor. I had given the apartment community previous a 4 star review. A lot has changed since then…read more Overnight my garage was broken into and my late mothers belongings were stolen along with tools. This is the 5th break in and theft that my roommate and I have experienced in the last 18 months. When we repeatedly complain to the office the property management clearly states its not their problem. Then give some excuse why they can't be proactive to protect its residents. Usually the claim is money. Yet they are always bringing in contractors to annoying and incredibly low quality work to update the property. If they'd only invest in more security such as cameras that would deter most of the theft. They instead tell you they hire a patrol company who closely monitor the property. And by closely monitor that means twice a month a patrol car will drive moderately fast through and leave. Car vandalism, break-ins and theft are at an all time high in this community. Break-ins of garages and apartments are at a way too high unacceptable amount as well. If you like safety and security this is NOT the apartment complex for you. Management will in turn justify their lack of attention and effort and try to turn the tables to you, the tenant, as the issues. They claim to have rules that are enforced but they only enforce when they mean to send a message to the person they are targeting. They require DNA for dogs but then never enforce dog poop cleanup and its everywhere. They bait and switch you for every thing so be aware of that and force your side when you have an agreement in writing. When I first moved in the garages were $80/mo. When I chose to get one they raised the fee to $100/mo. When I signed the contract they bait and switched the fee to $125/mo. So don't be fooled. Also, towing is enforced at random and you might see non residents residing at the property for months on end and nothing happens. You might have friends over one time and mid day their car is towed within an hour. The property is located at the bottom of a hill behind the old big lots strip mall and is hidden from major roadways. Even though the road that is running through the property is public law enforcement does little to patrol. There is very inadequate lighting and when you try to request the property install more they simply tell you to contact Excel as they are responsible for outdoor lighting for the parking lots. Buyer beware. If you move here be ready and accustomed to have your property damaged and stolen. Know that there is nothing that will be done about it in the end from either law enforcement or the property. And because of its location the issue is much higher than the surrounding area.

The building had great potential and was lovely for a time. It really went south since Styl took over. I'll be making posts everywhere I can think of with as much factual evidence as possible since I worry this comment will be deleted and prospective residents left vulnerable to false advertising. I'll list a few big incidents that I experienced or witnessed so that people can decide what kind of quality they are willing to tolerate in a rental home: - the complex did not keep adequate records of parking spaces so they towed my car from my designated spot even though my permit was hanging on the mirror. They did not notify me so I thought my car had been stolen, which seemed possible given the vandalism I'd experienced in the garage a year earlier. The maintenance person responsible for the relief was extremely rude to me, and after significant self-advocacy I was compensated for the towing cost, confirming their understanding they were at fault but not making me whole for the lost wages and emotional turmoil of the whole event. - Amenities were advertised but out of order for over 9 months because management felt it was more important to put in a golf simulator room and replace flooring in the gym than ensure that residents consistently had working AC and clean hallways. - Incredibly loud drilling that would shake the floors without any notice for people who work at home to be able to seek alternative accommodations. - Elevators poorly maintained and frequently out of order leading to long delays with ingress and egress. My neighbor was actually stuck in one of the elevators for a while. - During the ample construction, they had a dumpster blocking the firelane and were unresponsive to requests to move it to ensure resident safety until tenants submitted grievances to the local authority. - Building does the bare minimum to be ADA compliant but is not ADA accessible for folx who use wheelchairs in many locations. There are too many instances to count. I am happy to provide photo evidence or speak with anyone who is considering living here. I lived at 4550 from 2021 (under Greystar) until 2026 through the change in management to Styl.
