    Old Skool Roll

I was told I was the first customer of the day for their $2 old skool roll event. The person behind the counter was very sweet and made me the best, most fresh cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Thank you!

For a cinnamon lover, this is a dream location. A variety of different flavors and combinations, baked into a cohesive cinnamon roll. The entire store has a sweet smell and it gets even stronger once you receive your rolls. The staff there was very friendly and they were eager to help with suggestions on what to order if it was your first time there. Now for those who are impartial to cinnamon rolls but looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further. These rolls are incredibly sweet and will satiate any craving you have for sweets. I would say that it actually is a bit too overbearing at times. There are parts of the cinnamon roll that are just the right level of sweetness, and other bites that are simply just too much. I couldn't find myself finishing one in a single sitting. That being said, I know that sweetness is a subjective taste and everyone will have their own preferences on how sweet they want things. For those who like to air on a more subtle side, you might find these rolls to be very overbearing. But for those who love to go all in on the sweetness, this will be the perfect spot for you.

Friendly, talented, and helpful staff. Small dining area inside so outside tables when it warms up would be nice. The cinnamon rolls are humongous and delicious. You can choose from a signature roll, a speciality roll, or build your own. A perfect midday or after dinner snack. They also serve cookies, brownies, cookie dough, and dole whip. This area of brier can get busy during peak hours so parking may be a hassle during those times.

What a treat I enjoyed when Andia and her husband George were at the Triangle Food & Wine…read moreExperience last weekend at The Exchange. She has such a wonderful personality and knows her ice cream. I was one of the first to enjoy her Gluten free Coffee ice cream with chopped up chocolate-covered espresso beans throughout. Then George took the cup of this delicious ice cream and torched it for a brulee finish. Amazing, indescribable, and I will be back for more soon kind of flavors! I have since checked out her flavor options and kick myself for not visiting her shop soon over at Iron Works. It is so close to where we live in downtown Raleigh. No more excuses. We are heading there this weekend for a Valentine's Day treat of one of her many boutique flavors. Plus I love that Andia truly cares about the Gluten Free population and offers so many wonderful-sounding flavors for them.

We can in for milkshakes…read more.. My wife and I stop by Andia's Ice Cream for milkshakes on a Saturday night at 7:30PM but, unfortunately the menu on the wall had sold out stickers on them. We decided to get ice cream in waffle cone since we couldn't get the milkshakes. I got the Cookies N Cream in a waffle cone My wife got the Cotton Candy in a waffle cone. The cookies N Cream was good but, the waffle cone was not. The waffle cones are the "softer" ones, i was expecting the classic crunchy waffle cone. I just ate the ice cream with a spoon out of the cone. The cotton candy was not good. It tasted like sugar free ice cream. Same thing with the waffle cone as I previously wrote. The service was great! The ambiance was nice. Not sure if we would go back, our favorite ice cream shop is in Durham and I would prefer to drive 30Min to that place. I would rate Andia's ice cream shop 5th in the Raleigh/Durham area for ice cream. *I would say give it a try I may love it.
