Apparently this was a Shark Tank pitch?? Sold. What could be wrong about a place that just serves cinnamon rolls. It smells amazing inside when you walk in and they have a display of all the amazing options. They did let us know it would be about 8 minutes for our order, but it's well worth the wait. The Very Berry was delicious, but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of them.

Consistently absolutely fabulous! And the best part is to be able to have a cinnamon roll that is not only delicious but dairy free! Always so good! And you can buy their dairy free frosting for other treats you want to make!!!

I have been a Cinnaholic fan since the 2010 Berkeley location with it's line out the door and around the corner. I've visited multiple locations since they've expanded, and I understand that as franchises go, sometimes things will not be what they used to be. That being said, I'm happy for the owner of the Cinnaholic brand and all that she accomplished. This new franchise is located about 30 minutes outside of Indianapolis proper, in a cute little outdoor mall area. It was easy to find as its right off of a roundabout (across from the Red Robin). Both this and the Carmel location are the smallest Cinnaholics I've ever seen. No restrooms to wash your hands, no seating, and no free water stations to wash down your sweets. The employees were very nice though. Presentation- The presentation of both the displays and the actual rolls was lacking. The display case had no signage so you couldn't tell which roll was what. The rolls in the display case and my Monster roll were nowhere near the beautiful rolls that Cinnaholic are known for making (See the stock photos they used on this Yelp listing from their franchisee marketing package. THAT is what they are supposed to look like.) Taste - The rolls were fresh but just did not taste the same. I had the Cookie Monster Roll in Gilbert, AZ and baby it was the business! This one... not so much. It was more of a cookie minion. You know it was sad if I didn't even take a picture. It's supposed to be a big, buttery, melt in your mouth mound of sweet delight, rich with the cream cheese frosting, a heaping of cookie dough and chocolate sauce toppings. I barely tasted any cookie dough or cream cheese frosting. The roll, although very fresh, sadly wasn't that buttery melt in your mouth roll that I've loved for 13 years. For the road- DD wanted Cinnadoodle cookies and the lemon-berry cake. It's served as a coffee cake in Chicago, but as a muffin here. I also grabbed some take n bake cookie dough. Haven't yet tried the aforementioned items, so I'll update if there are any issues. I got a roll to go and asked for the frosting and toppings on the side. I'm hella peeved by that lil dab of caramel sauce. I understand that they've just opened and are likely going through those new business snafus and learning curves. I say give them a couple of months and hopefully they'll get it together and do great. In the meantime, I encourage this location's owner to visit some of the older locations as a refresher on how the rolls should taste.

I participated in their grand opening special so I bought a $2 caramel apple pie donut (reg. $8.50) with crème brulee frosting instead of more rich caramel frosting. Healthy vegan baked goods. I spoke with the helpful, nice owners. I believe they will be successful, and it is a great location even with Homemade Ice Cream and Bakery Cafe around the corner.

Cinnamon rolls may be my favorite food group and these do not disappoint. Tried out the caramel biscoff cinnamon roll with crunch cookies and pie topping. First time trying something different than the original frosting. Although I do love the carmel I think the original is always best. The carmel frosting was a bit on the runnier side.

Very cute little shop. The cinnamon roll was cold :( Along with the icing. The presentation looked great but the taste was sickly sweet cold sugar. I did like the cookie dough on top. That was the only part I personally liked.

This was my first time trying Cinnaholic and boy did it not disappoint! The cinnamon roll was huge and warm and delicious!! It's pretty small inside so you just walk right up to the counter and you can either try one of their already curated cinnamon rolls or build your own! We went the route of building our own so we got maple icing with sprinkles. I thought it tasted pretty fresh and the cinnamon roll itself was so flavorful and I loved the texture of it. You would never know this was a vegan cinnamon roll! I will definitely be back to try other flavors and items they sell

Love this place! Brought my brother here because he loves cinnamon rolls and he was very impressed. These are so soft and tasty and fun!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick and delicious dessert. It's in the mall so lots of other stuff around too. Service was great. Small space so very easy for a grab and go!

Great cinnamon rolls!! I got the Cookie Monster and it was fantastic!! I would've never guessed it was all vegan.

I ordered the Mei Iced Latte--their seasonal drink with honey and cinnamon--and it was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. My friend got a chai latte, and it was just as good! The space is incredibly cozy with plenty of room to settle in, whether you're working or catching up with friends and family. The service was quick, and the staff were so helpful when it came to sharing their favorites and recommendations. Definitely a spot I'll be back to!

I ordered a loaf of bread for pick-up a few days in advance and it was a very easy process. I hadn't heard of this spot or even been to that part of town before and found it to be a super charming cafe with a ton of yummy looking pastries! Situated in an older house, parking is limited and this seems to be a go-to spot on the weekends. They also have a variety of coffee - I had plans to try another spot but I want to go back! Especially for their cinnamon rolls. Those looked mouth watering. My bread is so good - I have been eating on it all week and it's delicious toasted for breakfast. Everyone was super nice and gave me a tip that if you're picking up, you can ask someone in the kitchen to grab your pre-order for you.

Washed it down with a Black Cold Brew which also had some great flavor to it. The inside dining does get very loud, but its because they get slammed fast after opening. Fluff is a problem. BIG problem. HUGE problem…read more Walking in and realizing that they know people's names when they walk in the door, I gather they're either super friendly, or incredibly addictive. As I was leaving, I surmised it's both. Came in for the doughnuts, left with looking at my calendar and figuring out when I'll be back. Let's start with the doughnuts- shareable if you're willing. I pretended to be willing, but let's face it, we all know better. Picked up a cake doughnut (didn't make it home- damn, SO GOOD.) Light, not overly sweet, and perfect slight crisp on edges.) Had to get a plain 'ol yeast doughnut, you know, just to compare.... it's up there with the best. Cinnamon roll- that one I DID share. Had to. It's huge! Delightful dough, perfect hint of cinnamon & sugar. Could totally plate these for guests at home and they'd think I baked them myself. Wait, if someone's staying at my house the probably know I'm not a baker (too many rules) and will call me on my bluff. :) AND- the maple bacon doughnut. You had me at bacon. Just order it and say "thank you." Couldn't pass up an order of biscuits and gravy. Holy smokes, folks, sausage gravy LOADED with sausage! Seriously- I'm a bit of a B & G specialist (if I say so myself) and this one... THIS ONE is a keeper. Perfect (by perfect, I mean a LOT) amount of sausage, a hint of peppery spice, and that biscuit. SO FLUFFY! Huh- is that where they got their name? I've added a few pictures of their menu, the breakfast and lunch sandwiches look delish. I asked about them ingredients & they mentioned they use Boar Heads meats. I'll be hitting it up for my next northside breakfast or lunch meetings. I loved the bustle of Fluff. Customers seemed to know each other and were very quick to offer up their praises as well. It was difficult to decided what to order, because the customers kept saying "get 1 of everything!" Congrats to Fluff- great town bakery. Felt a little bit like walking into Cheers. Enjoy!

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! I don't even know where to begin... I came in for a pastry and left emotionally attached…read more Let's talk about the croissants. I had not one, but TWO -- and I regret absolutely nothing. The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

My friends and I are retired and once a week we travel to small towns in Indiana and enjoy lunch…read more We've previously dined at Rosie's and had a very nice experience. Today was different. We were seated and then no one came to take our drinks order for nearly 20 minutes. We put in our sandwich and soup orders when she came for the drink order because we had already sat there 20 minutes and we didn't want it to be even longer before she came back. 25 minutes later we still did not have our food despite asking about it twice. our server said well I've asked three times back there... I don't know what's taking so long. I said could you please mention maybe to a manager? We were not strident or angry, into this certainly was not our servers's fault but we were extremely disappointed because four tables surrounding us had been seated, served and one of them was finished and we still did not have our food. A manager came and said we're getting your food out just as quick as we can and I stopped her and said ma'am it's too late for as quick as you can because it's been 25 minutes and we've been here 45 minutes. She left the table and in less than two minutes came back with our food, sat in front of us said she was sorry and what else could she do for us and I said I'm not sure how to answer that; we just wanted our food. My friend's egg entrée was completely cold, my sweet potato fries were cold and my friend's soup was lukewarm at best. We waved the manager back and explained that our food was cold and must have been sitting for quite some time. She seemed upset took the food back and said she would get them to fix some more and I said you know I think we're just going to leave now I don't want to wait for more food to be prepared. As we turned to leave she told us to have a nice day but it seemed more in sarcasm rather than sincerity. I also want to point out that the prices have soared since our last visit. I'm not sure when or if we will come back to Rosie's, which is a shame because their bakery items are to die for.

Amy Hans, owner and operator of A Slice of Heaven knows where its at! After shopping high and low…read morefor a perfect cake with an affordable price for my wedding, I was referred to Amy and her fabulous delectable cakes. There are LOTS of cake places in the Indy area that CLAIM to have the best tasting cakes, and having been in about 27 flippin' weddings myself, I have tasted a lot of these so called "best cakes". Well, none of them lived up to Amy's cake, which was moist, gorgeous and even wonderful a YEAR later on my 1st anniversary. Might I also mention that she charges UNDER $2.00 a slice. This might make her SOUND cheap and therefore, might make you think that there are BETTER cakes out there b/c they are more expensive, but I beg to differ. The likes of other cakeries don't have have anything on Amy and her slices of heaven. First off, I ask her to do a chocolate drizzle on my cake. She had never done this but promised she would make it work. For months leading up to my event she would call to let me know she was "practicing". She also had other brides and grooms taste test MY cake to make sure it was progressing. Not only was my cake GREAT tasting but it was BEAUTIFUL!! I cannot say ENOUGH about this wonderful concoction that was my wedding cake. It was three layers of double chocolate and two layers of almond vanilla with white chocolate icing and dark chocolate drizzle. My (crappy florist) tossed in some pretty pink roses and we WON and award from "Real People Magazine" for Indiana's BEST cake!! For a whopping $320 total for a cake that served nearly 200 people, I could NOT have been happier. She even came the day of, cut my cake for me and put it together. It looked fantastic, tasted fantastic, was affordable and I could not have been a happier bride. I have since used her for birthday cakes, shower cakes and desserts of every sort!! Brides, do not choose those OTHER cake shops that constantly CLAIM to have the best cakes. Take yourself to small town Indiana and have a slice of heaven instead! You'll thank me later!
