These cookies were clearly baked multiple days ago, but were still being sold to customers. We threw these straight into the garbage. That's really disgraceful. I'm assuming this is a cost-saving measure, so they don't have to throw food away and can still make money off of food that is days old. Went to the South Hill Mall location on 12/24/25 and bought 1/2 dozen Cinnabons in a box. Got them home and I wish I would have went to Safeway and got some instead. The rolls were dry and did not have very much flavor. Not only did they skimp on the sugar, but even the cinnamon, and it's a CINNabon. A totally bad experience for about $4 apiece. Not going to go back, too expensive for this level of product. read more

Dry, dry and dry! Cinnabon used to put more filling of cinnamon, margarine and sugar inside the rolls. Quality sure seems to have gone by the wayside. I spent over $50 on cinnamon rolls and received two small extra frostings. If you purchase 4 rolls or 6 -- 1 frosting included. 9 minis or 15 -- 1 frosting. Extra frosting necessary since the frosting they used melts between rolls. Don't expect quality as you saw when Cinnabon first opened! read more

Had to run to Puyallup and my hubby called and asked if I was near a Cinnabon. We saw there was one in Puyallup so I stopped in. 3 cute and nice teenage boys were working. I bought 4 large rolls and they placed them in an unbranded box. It looked like a hamburger take out box. No big deal, it's a box but when I got home my husband asked if I cheaped out and bought fakes. A week later we were in the Tacoma Mall and walked by that store. We bought some and we told the worker our story. He said that they make their rolls onsite and Puyallup uses frozen. Boy, what a difference! This review is on the service alone. I was here on 1/2, shopping around. I spotted a fireman and his wife and baby in line at Cinnabon. I walked up, confirmed with him that he was indeed a fireman, then told them that I was buying their order. Shy, he said thank you but that was "OK." I said yeah, it is OK, this is how I tell him thank you for his service. He placed his order and I gave the cashier my card. When the cashier asked him if he wanted extra frosting, he seemed really conflicted - he *really* wanted that frosting but didn't want me paying for it. Before I could say anything, the cashier jumped in on the spirit and said she was throwing in a couple frostings as her way of saying thanks to him. His wife thanked me about six times. I've been to many, many, many Cinnabon stores across the United States. I never thought I would have to leave a review for one, but this franchise is horrible. I just moved near this specific branch, so I've been here a few times. The first time, the cinnamon rolls were dry. Yes, that's right. DRY and difficult to chew... probably "stale" is that correct term to use. I don't know how long that's been sitting there, but I shrugged it off. I gave this place another chance a few months later, thinking maybe it was a bad batch I got the first time around. I just bought another box to-go a few days ago. Dry, again. This time it wasn't stale. It just lacked A LOT of frosting. You know those small cups of frosting they put on the side? You need like 10 of those spread all around the cinnamon rolls in the whole box. I'm not kidding. I'm not exaggerating. That's how un-Cinnabon-like it was! It sucks because they charge you an additional 50 cents for extra icing. The people who run this place were rude about it after I mentioned how there was barely any icing. Ugh. They were the same people last time too. After I write this review, I'm emailing the customer service on Cinnabon's website. Terrible experience here. read more

I took my wife for lunch because we love the rolls. they open at 10 and we arrived at 11. They only had 1 roll in the case. When i inquired about more the were only interested in selling me a box of 4. First point, i dont want 4 i only want 2. Second point, i want fresh not cold and old. I went last Friday and had the worst experience. Yes I totally get that it is in a mall but seriously! So first off the lady barely let me finish my order before giving me the total. She completely demolished the rolls when removing them from the pan. I wanted to order a coffee but she hadn't even started a pot even though it was the first thing she offered to us. So we decided to say no. The rolls were okay but not the best. Then a workers came next to us right by the table and just started talking loudly with each other. There were so many other places to be. Finally we just gave up and left. They removed their trash cans so I had to go into the food court to find one. Went here a couple days ago with my wife while we were shopping. We got the original Cinnabon with an Oreo shake. The shake was ok but the Cinnabon wasn't hot. The reason why I'm giving this a super low rating is because of the employee I had to deal with. Can't remember his name but it was an Indian guy...looked like he was still in high school. Buyer beware!! This is not a real Cinnabon. Cheap knock off. The Cinnabon roll was a different recipe than the traditional Cinnabon. The frosting was literally a cake mix frosting out of the box. They also charged $2 more for a six pack than the Cinnabon in the Tacoma mall. If you are used to the traditional gooey, buttery recipe that you have loved, this isn't it. It tasted like a cinnamon role that you would buy in the frozen food section in a grocery store and make in your oven. They used cake icing out of a can instead of the cream cheese frosting they are known for. I've never taken the time to write a negative review, but after buying a six pack of rolls and paying 2 extra dollars, I feel like I totally got ripped off. My husband & I won't return here again, the pecanbon wasn't close to being made properly, the regular cinnabon was cold, half cooked & had no flavour plus just a drizzle of frosting rather than the smear I've come to know, we weren't offered any extra frosting either. The drinks are a rip off, we had hot chocolate that came from a packet, was watery & no cream or whipped cream was offered. The service was painfully slow & sloppy. Horrible service by two little girls working there. My husband and I bought a couple of cinnabons there last week. The lady helping us said that if we signed up online they will send us a coupon for a free 4pk and that we could bring it in and she would make sure we got it. I bring in the coupon a week later and the girls working there said it has to be printed. I let them know what was said and then one of them says they don't have any 4pk. I said that's fine and I can just pay for the big one for my hubby and I to share. Then they bring up I can't use the coupon. I said I'm not using it because you guys said it has to be printed. Not a big deal I'll just pay for it. Then one of the mouthy girl says you can't use the coupon and you aren't listening. I said um excuse me, I just said I'm going to pay for it but you aren't listening so please pay attention. Then they both started running there mouths like they were ready to fight over this nonsense. I looked at both of them and said nevermind I'm not spending my money here where people think it's okay to treat your customers this way. I won't spend any money at a place where these kids think it's okay to treat people like crap. I just visited this Cinnabon at the South Hill mall with my wife and kids. I ordered a 4 pack of Cinnabons. The older Indian lady from behind the counter offered me the old display Cinnabon 6 pack for half off. I told her no I just wanted the fresh 4 pack that I originally asked for. Then she proceeded to bag up the six pack of rolls and I again reminded her nicely that I didn't want the old Cinnabon six pack. So she gave me a look as if I'm at fault for not telling her. And she was pissed that she had to ring it up again. Then she had the nerve to take four of the old Cinnabon rolls from the six pack and packed them in a box. Then she offered me extra icing and added a dollar for it without telling me. The worst service I've had in a while. Never going there again. I would have just left, but she was holding my credit card as she started ringing up over $16 for just four Cinnabons. Don't make the mistake I did by visiting here. read more
