We went Saturday mid afternoon and got a dozen cookies. First off the lady behind the counter was not friendly at all. Had more of a I don't want to be at work attitude and it work look. Then when we asked questions it was like we were a bother. The place looked a mess and not what we expected. We finally ordered and went home. We tried the cookies and they all had a taste of burnt. My moms birthday was yesterday and we always celebrate a sweet treat with Crave and it was SO bad last night. We ordered two drinks, custom, two cookies and two dubai cups = $60 and boy was I pissed I spent that money. Cookies tasted like air, our drinks were watered down not filled all the way and didnt customize it with the extras we paid for, and the dubai cups were TERRIBLE the pistachio paste was watery and they used the chocolate frosting for the chocolate in the cup and it was disgusting. We have had too many experiences being hit or miss here, big let down. UPDATE: The owner of this store contacted me directly about the bad experience we had yesterday who is actually a local here to the South Hill area and Im so shocked at how courteous he was and understanding and helpful. Visited this spot with a friend and tried a few of their dessert cups--we had the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and the strawberry Biscoff cup. I went for the Dubai chocolate pistachio version, which came topped with a chewy, perfectly sweet cookie that was really well made. The strawberries were fresh, and overall I enjoyed the cup. That said, the portion was quite large--definitely better for sharing. I found myself losing interest halfway through. Still, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The cookies are incredible! So gooey and delicious. Not too sweet but not box or weird tasting either. My husband isn't a sweet person either and he says he loves this more than crumble. We might've found our new cookie place to indulge at every once in a while! PS would highly recommend ordering earlier in the day to get the cookies you want instead of later in the day. Sis heard about their dubai chocolate cookie and sent me to get a box. I tried the white chocolate caramel blondie and that was great. Her faves were the banana cream, the Biscoff, and dubai chocolate in that honor. Both of us agreed that Crave is better than Crumbl taste wise. With Crumbl a few bites are enough. With Crave I wasily finished off a whole blondie in one shot. The whipped cream on the banana cfream was delicious and more whipped than frosting. Review for the 176th Puyallup location We stopped in recently and had a Dubai cookie, delicious. We decided to stop in last night for another one and ordered 3 Dubai strawberry cups. The cookie was still delicious, but had less filling, see pics. There were 5 people who tried the strawberry cups, none of us really liked them. The strawberries were white inside and many were not sweet. The green sauce was not smooth as advertised, instead it had chunky pieces of pistachio? See pics. I walked into Crave to pick up my order. The store smelled unpleasant, and while the staff initially seemed friendly, that quickly changed. They were unfriendly and unkind, and I left feeling like I was somehow beneath them. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I visited Crave today for the first time and it was amazing! They were short staffed and they did it so well taking it on with how busy they were. It got busy and they hadn't planned on being short handed but did so well. The two people that were working were so positive even though they were short handed and so busy. They had orders coming in from DoorDash and a line to the door. They have the Dubai Chocolate and it was a big hit, so many people wanted it so we also got back in line to get it. It didn't disappoint. They also have several great cookie options and dirty soda. They have many great options. They have a super cute photo area too. We will for sure come back! These cookies blow cr**bl out of the water!!! Cooked perfect, not raw in the middle. All of the cookies had a delicious flavor and didn't taste like they were all made from the same base. They were so welcoming and friendly and because of their excellent customer service I actually bought more than I was originally going in for. I went here for 1st time yesterday and OMG it was the best cookies I have tried. I would even say they were better than Crumbl. I bought 4 cookies, one was a huge thick chocolate chip cookie that tasted warm and homey. Another was a pop tart style cookies. Oatmeal cookie with butterscotch chip and a strange combination of croissant and chocolate chip cookie that totally worked and was delicious. They even warmed up the cookies before I took them. Another thing that have are flavored sodas. I had a sugar free coconut lime Diet Coke that was definitely yummy and refreshing. The staff was great and patient with me as they described their cookies and answered all the questions I had. I recommend everybody try Crave cookies.
