Cinful Sweets is located in a strip mall on Burnet Road. The strip mall appears to be a little dated. However, when you step into Cinful Sweets, it feels like you have walked into a Parisian chocolate shop. There's a beautiful paper collage on the wall that is quite striking and immediately grabs your attention. In addition, two walls are covered with magazine articles regarding Cinful Sweets. Apparently, they are a pretty big deal with articles in several prominent magazines. The chocolates are displayed in a way that makes you want to select one of each. You are allowed one chocolate sample per visit. Once I tasted the chocolate, I was an instant Cinful convert. The chocolate is rich, smooth and melts in your mouth. I was looking for chocolate for the hubs for our anniversary, and Cinful Sweets was the welcomed choice. My purchases included a red heart, chocolate bear and some sugar treats (ok...I confess, the sugar treats were for me). Smile. I got the opportunity to meet the owner and certified chocolatier Cinthya Romriell. She was super sweet with a genteel demeanor. Cinthya said she trained under some of the world's most renowned chocolatiers. The quality of the chocolate is outstanding. She said most of her clientele are corporate businesses and folks looking for gift giving. I found Cinful Sweets on Google while looking for a birthday surprise for my friend who absolutely loves chocolate. I'm not a huge chocolate person myself, but my friend was in heaven! She got to try a variety of chocolates and loved every single bite. I decided to try the Pâte de Fruit and a root beer, and to my surprise, I absolutely loved both. Such a unique treat! The shop itself is small but super cute, with a cozy seating area where you can play games and enjoy your sweets. The employees were all so sweet, knowledgeable, and patient while we browsed and asked questions. Definitely a hidden gem--I'd recommend it for any chocolate lover (or even if you're just along for the ride like me). read more

Kudos to the professionalism of the kid handling customers at the front. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product offerings and was super excited and energized. Also props to his mom and dad for creating amazing creations. These are very nice looking bonbons! Honestly, we purchased several to try--we felt all of them were too sweet; we were looking for items highlighting chocolate as well as other flavors. The shop decor and displays were amazing though. We decided to try 8 flavors: Spiced Yuzu, Street Corn, Dark Caramel, Chili Pepper, Tranquility, Peach, Almond Yuzu, and Flan. Some combinations were a hit; other just didn't really work together. I enjoyed the Dark Caramel and Chili Pepper the most--they were the least sweet, but still not being dark chocolate. Street Corn was pretty enjoyable, but then again quite sweetened. The fruit ones had their tartness mellowed out by... you guessed it, sugar! My least favorite was the Almond Yuzu--it was a sour and bitter flavor with almond that didn't work out at all. The store does take custom orders, and they do say they can create custom flavors for you. I'd love to retry their bonbons if they could be made much less sweet. read more

Arrived curious and left excited! I bought a ready to go package of assorted chocolates for some family and a handful of individual pieces for myself and my partner. Her flavor varieties of these bonbons are insane! So delicious, only makes me want to try them all. I got a chance to learn more about the owner's story and she is not only impressive, but also a complete sweetheart and inspiration to other Latina small business owners out there! Her shop is kept very clean and open enough for you to peek into the kitchen and view her large display of chocolate sculptures/breakaway chocolate molds. She has a unique coffee bar and plenty of other treats if bonbons aren't your thing, although they definitely could be after trying hers. She also offered some free samples of other treats along with some seating areas. Loved my time here and my chocolates were mouth watering! Will definitely come back. :) read more

The s'mores cookie was so delicious! Tasted a bit like a brownie cookie and marshmallow. It has been two days and both the marshmallow and cookie stayed soft!! Definitely check this place out. They have a few samples you can try. So much effort goes into making these chocolates, especially the bon bons and the custom-shaped ones like the guitar. You can tell the owner truly cares about her work. She told us she went to school for this. I love this shop! Every where you look is fabulous chocolate! The large art pieces: chocolate! It's wonderful. There are many different packages chocolates to purchase, but I went for chocolate madelines filled with raspberries, topped with chocolate fudge, a fresh raspberry, edible gold foil, and chocolate butterfly. So, crazy tasty. The madeline was soft and just the right chocolate level, and the surprise fruit filling was a great treat! As I talked with the owner, I was lucky to be able to sample a cookies and cream bon bon she was tweaking the recipe of, and it truly fooled my tongue. I stumbled on this place while out with my 17 YO, looking for a local and unique dessert place for her birthday. When we arrived the staff was super friendly, and while sharing samples pointed to a picture of the Chief. My 17 YO exclaimed, "I have seen her on the Food Network". The chocolate is fabulous! Wow! Simply fantastic! We got some of the mango, passion fruit coconut ecclares and they are so good. The filling was so fruity I was shocked how much flavor she packed in them.
