Nice size movie theater. It had been a minute since we had seen a movie in the theaters. We were able to get tickets online. They have a huge parking lot for busy opening nights. When we entered, we got into this line of concessions that had candies, ice cream cups, chocolate... There was a bar that served adult drinks on the right. The arcade was also on the right. When we got to the front of the line we were able to get various sizes of popcorn. Cinemark sells popcorn in small to large tubs, but we also saw folks walking away with bags full of popcorn. The kids got some Fanta slushies, and then we were off to the theater showing Zootopia 2. The room had stadium seating the leather seats were large and comfy. The floors were not sticky and the room provided great visuals and audio. Not too loud, but enough speakers to sound amazing. The movie was great. The experience at Cinemark was great. Great experience ! We caught the new Tron movie in 3D ! Man that movie was a visually stunning - cinematic masterpiece. Highly recommend. The soundtrack was the perfect experience in this theatre. I was a bit shocked they didn't carry redvines ( I mean they didn't even know what redvines were !??) Redvines are a movie staple ... The arcade made up for it a bit . Usually I have no issues with this location but recently I saw a film in one of their smaller theaters. First of all it was dark even though there was sound with no picture. I had to ask an attendant to turn the lights on so I could see where I was going. Once I could see, the carpet really needed to be replaced and there was popcorn on my seat. It also smelled musty and there was no air circulating in the theater. Had to ask an attendant yet again as to why there was sound but no picture. She said we had to wait 15 minutes for a picture to come on. Ordered popcorn ahead of time for pickup. It was stale and the pretzel nuggets were awful. Waited for them but I swear they were microwaved. Not good Cinemark. read more

Since this is the only Cinemark on the West side since the other one closed, this one has gotten better. I am big fan of the pretzels and prevously the were so so. Now the pretzels are much better so I'm not sure what they did. Since opening up, they are very busy when it comes to ordering food. I'm sure there are new workers figuring things out. Service has picked up over the past times I have watched a movie here. If you watch movies often, it's best to sign up for the Cinemark movie pass. Great parking Space and very good movie experience. Cinemark XD is available and is so much more than "big". Six-story screen bursting with 35 trillion colors. Imagine 50,000 watts of powerful surround sound. You also have a clean theater. Went to see Oppenheimer and the movie was 90 minutes too long. But super friendly staff. Bad experience. Was my fault but the business also didn't take "some" of the fault. Went today Tuesday and went to go pick up my tickets in person with my 6 months old child in hand. The kiosk inside wasn't working so I had to get my tickets from the person outside. Not once did the person tell me that after 6p children younger than 7 would be able to go into a rated R movie. Well I get to the theatre with my wife and child in hand. Stopped to purchase popcorn. Once I go to the person taking the tickets the young lad said "enjoy your movie" but the older senior person next to him told both of us I wouldn't be able to go into the movie due to my child. Went to the front window to request a refund and at the same time requested to get my popcorn refunded. Not going to want it after all. Was told they can't do that. Decided to leave and not cause a scene over some popcorn. Called a few minutes later and spoke to a manager. The manager told me he is sorry and that if I had gone to him he would've given me the refund for the popcorn. Asked him for a coupon or a credit for the popcorn. Was told he can't because they don't have any and can't take my information to offer me a popcorn or anything. Feel I was taken advantage of. I didn't get to see my movie and I still ended up with money lost and the company making "some" money over me even though I didn't get to watch my movie. **Also while I was getting my refund for my tickets I looked to see if there was "any" sign indicating that rule about the children under 7 not being able to go see the rated R movies, only saw something about movies being $1.75 special they were having and special options for people who are hard of hearing read more

Very rude management. I left a movie an hour into it because it was terrible. I didn't think they would do anything about it but decided to ask to speak with a manager. Brandi tells me there isn't anything they can do so I accepted that and started to walk away. She then proceeds to argues with me about how they don't make the movies and they pay for the lights and building... ok, I told her as a customer service person she was doing poorly (I was already walking away) she then called for another manager... he apologized but did nothing. I stayed calm and never raised my voice or used inappropriate language. They treated me like I was crazy. When did it become crazy to let a manager know you did t enjoy your (insert item here) and to ask them if there was anything they could do to make it better?!? What a disappointment after Covid coming back to this theater. Not much safety guidelines or sanitation established. There are people cutting into the lines while you mind your business and try to buy your tickets. A whole heard of a family cut infront while people bought tickets and the cashier let them. My "go to" movie theater! Love overall experience, perks, rewards program, seats, and now that they have D-box, screenX choices are great! Love their food and snacks. I do prefer this type of theater over the more "fancier" type which for me makes it a more comfortable and more original way to watch a good movie. I enjoy my movies here so much, that I am now at a "Platinum" level on my rewards program which is great with even higher discounts/rewards! read more

This is my family's go to theater since we live on the far west side. What I like most about this theater are the seats and that it's not super packed like the east side. If the concession stands out front are too long, you should take advantage of the one inside. You can easily reserve your seats ahead of time which is a time saver! read more

Movie theater is pretty good but the El Paso locations are unable to process the 'bonus' amounts you get when you buy a gift card like their current father's day promotion. So definitely don't buy a gift card for the bonus. I asked their customer service for the amount on a regular gift card so I could actually use it. They said they were unable to do that but sent me three more 'bonus' codes that were unusable. read more

This is a nice theater and it's a bit tucked away in the corner. So not a ton of people go here which is nice. Seats are the full recliners and the military discount, regardless of the time, is $7.25 a ticket! That's pretty nice. read more

Perhaps this was the best theater in town once, but now it has competition with other sister theaters like the Movie Bistro and Tinseltown and Cinemark Montana. I don't think this theater is going anywhere, but now it's just simply a theater. I really do like this particular Cinemark and I almost always choose it over the Movie Bistro just because I can save some dough. The great thing about the Remcon Cinemark is the fact that management actually runs a tight ship. It's always smooth sailing for me at this theater and that's why I opted against giving this seemingly average theater a three star rating and bumped it up. One of the biggest issues I have with a lot of the other theaters in EP is painstaking realization that you have to walk all the way to the front because they only open additional concession counters during big deal premiers even though they have enough employees on hand to at least man one of the stations. That literally never has happened to me at this Cinemark and I've gone on some weird days, like Thursday. Also, I never find any kind of mess here... not even in the bathroom. And I totally agree with Albert K. and his statement that, "...there still seems to be less hood-rattery at this theater than at the rest of the theaters in El Paso." The popcorn isn't my favorite, it's never buttery enough, but if I add the butter that's available it just tastes like oil. Candies are marked up about 300% so I usually check my email for a Cinemark coupon because it's almost always either a free candy or small popcorn. Use the coupons! Download the Cinemark app! Do it all! Don't pay ridiculous amounts if you don't have to. The actual movie theaters are pretty nice. The seats are comfy and in good condition, my only gripe is the fact that the arm rests don't move. I like to sit in strange positions and those arm rests stop a lot of that movement. But that's not really a big issue. The screens are large and the sound is perfect. This Cinemark is ideal for any movie outing. Just recently I got to spend an hour in the arcade. More entertaining than I could've imagined and it helped pass the time until our movie started. I only found one thing that wasn't in great condition and that was the yellow button on one of the guitars for Guitar Hero (you really gotta push down on that thing or at least hit it a second before you strum the note). I'm not sure if the Table Hockey goes until 7 or is just on a timer because when my boyfriend and I played a sort of long game, it ended at 3-3. But seriously everything we played was fun and worked great. The arcade never seems to be packed or any kind of middle schooler hang out and I think that may have something to do with the size (it's a tad small) and the fact that they don't have DDR (and I'm totally okay with that). read more

After the Alamo Drafthouse opened, I hadn't been to this theatre in quite a while, but the changes they have instituted are fantastic. Reserved seating throughout the facility, luxury lounger chairs that have tons of room between the aisles, and they now serve beer and wine. I like it when a business adapts to a changing market, and Cinemark has done exactly that. While I still like the Drafthouse, especially if I want a good meal, this Cinemark has become my go to theatre for a proper viewing experience. I fully recommend this place if a pure movie watching experience is what you're after, since they offer XD and 3D in the most comfortable chairs in town. In terms of food, it's the same concessions like popcorn/nachos you find in every chain theatre, so nothing to write home about, but it's a good clean theatre that won't disappoint. read more

This is my go to theater in El Paso. I go almost every weekend with my family for our family movie day tradition. I always have a great time when I'm there, the staff is friendly, courteous, and well trained. I never have any problems when going and the theater is always exceptionally clean. The XD theater is absolutely my favorite, I love the size, seats, and the exceptional quality of sound. If the movie is offered in XD, you sure as heck know that's what I'll be seeing it in. Keep it up and I'll keep coming back and I always enjoy mentioning you guys on Twitter. They also recently started that Cinemark Connections not too long ago. I love it so far, you get 10 points when you buy tickets, 10 points when you buy food and/or drink, and another 10 points for putting your phone in CineMode. I haven't redeemed anything yet but I'm already passed 500 points, so maybe I'll see something I like and use my points for it. However, I have entered the many competitions offered on the Cinemark Connections that include trips and other prizes. I have also used the app to redeem a poster for going to go see the Warcraft movie. Right now I'm super biased, but currently Cinemark West/USA is my favorite theater in El Paso. read more

Tuesday's this theater has movies all day for $5.75, which is an amazing deal in comparison with their regular prices. My youngest brother and his friend wanted to go see The Secret Life of Pets 2, so my son & I decided to tag along as well. It was my first time ever taking my son (3yrs old) to a movie in a theater, so I was kind of nervous of how he'd behave. Luckily, everything went mostly smoothly & I loved the reserved seats & luxury recliner seating with extra wide isle space. Also, we tried the Hershey's pizza cookie, which was delicious in everyone's opinion. The restrooms were clean, but I was disappointed to find that they had no changing tables. Overall, we all had a great time & experience. And we're already planning to go see Toy Story 4 when it comes out on the 21st! read more

Went to go see IT movie tonight with my husband movie was alright. Movie theater was under construction in the main entrance arcade and concession stand was blocked off. There was the concession stand in the hallway open and was moving pretty fast got ourself a combo meal two drinks and large popcorn. The seats were very comfortable and enjoyed it got to relax and watch the movie.:) will be coming back maybe the remodeling will be done and get to enjoy what new things they add:) read more

Lots of recent upgrades at Cinemark. Seats are now reserved and selected at time of ticket purchase. This seems a bit over the top since i cant remember when it was needed. But then we tend to go to movies at off peak hours. The major change, though, is they have replaced all the seats with lounge lizard recliners with powered foot rests and built in cup holders. It would be too easy to fall asleep and nap through the whole $8.00. This also eliminated the movable arm rest that separated two adjacent seats. So no more snuggling. Time will tell how durable these seats are after over- sugared eight year olds and smart ass/show off teen age boys get through with them. This seems to be the latest theater fad and I guess Cinemark has to keep up with the Jones's or at least...the bistros. Personally I'd settle for better quality movies, but thats a different review. ~~~UPDATE~~~3/11/17 From 4 stars to 2. As noted above, this theater has established reserved seating. That seems like a pretty good move. But I need an explanation for today. My wife and I tend to go to the earliest possible showing so we can avoid the crowds and families. We arrived at the box office 35 minutes before showtime and lined behind just a few people. The attendant flops around his computerized seating chart, tells us the exed seats were taken and asked us to choose from the rest. Wow, virtually every seat in the house is taken, save a couple in the middle of middle rows, and those so close to the screen you have to lay down to watch. My wife suggests we come back another day. Maybe I should have listened. But then I spotted a couple of empties on the first row before having to walk down stairs toward the screen. I snagged them. We entered the auditorium to find it empty--normal since we were quite early. The chosen seats were horribly uncomfortable to view from, having to look up to the screen, resulting in a neck and headache that remains 4 hours after the show was over. My bad you say? As the show ended I stood to leave and looked to see only a handful of other customers. Now why would they block off the vast majority of seats, leaving the worst ones to choose from at the first showing of the day. Screw that; I'm going to Alamo Draft house. I love luxury loungers! Huge comfy seats with a power recliner that allows me to put my feet up. And reserved seating! No waiting in a line 30 minutes before the showtime to get seats then to have them ruined by some late arrivals. I have to give a shout-out to a fabulous employee Raul Garcia who found my Coach Mickey Mouse wallet and turned it in. I called after realizing I must have dropped my wallet during the movie because I reached for a kleenex during "I Can Only Imagine". I called the theatre and asked did anyone turn in a wallet. They said yes. And guess what THE CASH was in there. i had 60.00 in my wallet and it was all there. I offered a reward the manager said no. I told him please tell him thank you as all my cash was in there. I just wanted my ID's and Credit Cards but for all my cash to be there was great. I have never had a bad experience at Cinemark and this experience just made my heart sing. If you are an ATT customer there is discounts with the app on Tuesdays. One good thing gets one star... The luxury recliners. Management is awful. They don't know how to deal with a complaint. It's like sorry you had a bad experience and didn't enjoy your movie because we don't regulate on parents who let their kid sitting behind us say mommy and have outbursts every 5 minutes! When the manager did show up he stood at the bottom row not near where the kid was which was directly behind us. When he did observe the kid making noise he walked up the stairs after I pointed to them. They shushed the kid. He stood there a few minutes and left. He could of at the very least went up to them and stated there is a compliant you need to control your kid.. nothing. What a pansy, have some balls. He went to check once after that and just poked his head in. He didn't get the full effect of the brat interrupting my enjoyment the full 152 minutes of the film. Parents don't go to late showings after 9pm when your 3year old should be in bed. People go to late shows to avoid brats who have no manners. I remember why I don't go to movie theaters very often. I have gone to this theater in the past and had no issues. However I wanted to take the time to say how poor the management is when they have to deal with an incident. After the movie was over I went up to the manager to let him know my experience wasn't good at all. He was like sorry but I didn't think what I observed was that bad.. yeah the whole 10 minutes you were in the theater you didn't get the full effect come sit next to me for awhile... I will give corporate a call tomorrow and tell them what I think about how their management handled my situation. read more

This is my go-to theater, especially because I live so close to it; but more than that, the theater is always clean and I've never had any problems with anything. The staff is super friendly, the concessions are always supplied and the restrooms clean. The only complaint I might have, and this is sometimes only, is the concession time. Sometimes the staff at the concessions is slow, and the lines start piling up. Overall, I love this theater, it has 14 screens, the seats are comfortable, the refrigerated air is always a good escape from the summer heat! read more

This is a review of the XD auditorium..Which is why I opted for four stars. I saw Star Wars in a "regular" theater elsewhere and loved it so seeing it XD for a second time was icing on the cake. The infamous XD is a large auditorium with amble plush seating, large screen, and great sound quality. The matinee tickets, for two, was something around fourteen or fifteen bucks. They do offer a military discount btw so get your ID ready if you have one. The employees were super nice too. Something I personally appreciated was that the temperature was cool enough in the auditorium that I felt I could borderline wear my jacket. Seriously, no sarcasm there. It's gross to me when it's warm and stuffy inside a theater. There is also a little more leg room than most other theaters and the seats slightly recline. YES! I didn't partake in the concessions 'cause we had just eaten beforehand. Plus, I am not a fan of the atrocious price tag that usually comes with the food and drink at the theater. I would imagine for a family that XD movie tickets + concessions could get pretty pricey. The only con I can think of is that the women's bathrooms were super messy. I saw a horrifying stall. Maybe because there are air dryers and not paper towels for hand drying, there was water all over the sinks and floors too. read more

I really think this is the best theater in El Paso, they usually have all the mainstream movie releases and the theaters are clean and well kept, as are the restrooms. The best part is the XD theater, with a giant screen, monster sound, and comfy seats. Any problems with this theater are usually the fault of crowds, yet there still seems to be less hood-rattery at this theater than at the rest of the theaters in El Paso. read more

I do not know why this theater has such a low rating. It has almost everything you need in a theater. It has multiple screens with all the big movies out. It has several consessions counters open when it is crowded. The biggest problem is that it gets crowded. El Pasoans haven't seemed to have figured out how to use the credit card machines, so you can get stuck behind some pretty slow people. Push buttons. Swipe Card. Not that hard folks. Other than the crowds, this theater is in a great location. It has a decent variety of pricey consessions including tasty pickles! There is also a decent arcade if you want to arrive early before your move. They don't keep the theater itself freezing which I greatly appreciate. The chairs are stadium style so you don't get stuck behind giant heads and the seats also recline a bit and the arm rests come up for cuddling. They didn't plan the parking lot too well so you can get stuck in a line adfer a movie. read more

The seats are great, good sound system. Not bad. For the movies that people are really expecting to watch they have the theatre 14 and 15 with all the lights and red carpet. I guess trying to mimic the glamour of theaters back in the day.
