we went tonight to see Insidious out of the further. the good, the seats were comfortable and staff was friendly. The bad, the popcorn was absolutely terrible, way too much salt. I put no salt on our popcorn and it tasted like someone over-salted it. I did bring it back and the gave me a fresh bucket but it tasted the same. it was so bad we couldn't eat it and had to just throw it away after the movie. it's a shame because we live right down the road from this theater but we go for the full experience which includes popcorn. I think I'm going to have to cancel my membership and start going to Savannah or Pooler. we have been to both the AMC classic in Savannah and the IMAX in Pooler and they have great concessions and the popcorn is far superior. It may seem like a little thing but it's actually an important part of the experience that seems to be lacking at Cinemark. Please fix this problem. read more

Price Point was incredibly fair. I'm used to paying these New York prices. Concessions were still a rip off; Nevertheless - I enjoyed the Fresh Popped Popcorn; This is a treat that you don't often get at these movie theatres. Seating was very comfortable and overall you're not going to get a bad seat in the house. Wide selection of movies. Nice selection of treats at the snack bar. Parking wasn't an issue. Screens could have been a bit higher end. But, you get what you pay for in the end. Would definitely come back; However - going out to the movies has sadly evolved into a thing of the past since COVID. I would rather stay home myself! read more

Went to see a movie here recently with the family and the experience here was very different and improved from when I was here years ago. They have improved the seating greatly - the seats are absolutely perfect and there is lots of space in front of you now so people can walk by when you're reclined. Seats are heated and the air temperature is very cold. I like that. Come dressed to keep you warm or even bring a blanket. The concessions are still really expensive but you know what, the movie tickets are cheap and this is how the theater makes some money. Picture and sound are excellent. Staff was friendly. I couldn't ask for more and I'm really glad we have this theater in Bluffton. read more

We visited Cinemark last weekend, our first time seeing a movie together in the low country, if you can believe that! The location is terrific, it's located in a shopping center with a few bars and restaurants. This makes a night out easy & hassle free. Overall, the venue was very clean and while seating was limited (I'm not sure if that's a bad thing), the reclining leather seats were extremely comfortable. We had a really good time and are looking forward to seeing another movie here soon! read more

Decided to hit up a theater to see twisters this weekend. It was packed. Way more packed than I've ever seen a theater before. This place does assigned seating so since there were only terrible single seats on the far ends we decided to pivot to Deadpool and Wolverine which had 5 empty seats on the upper level. One would think on the opening week of Deadpool and Wolverine that it would be packed and twisters would be empty, not so much here. The food is average. The same as any theater place. We got a 1 popcorn 1 drink 1 candy combo and it was well over 10 bucks so the usual overpriced theater food. Something I didn't enjoy is the movie was supposed to start at 125 but didn't actually start at 150. 25 minutes of previews and ads seems like a lot before you even get to the start of the movie. Something I did enjoy is this is the first theater I've been in with fairly large reclining seats with footrests and the seats could be heated. Overall it was a nice experience but it could be better. Parking was sort of an issue, you have to park in "the back" of this shopping plaza and walk quite a ways to get to the theater. Otherwise they are threatening to tow your vehicle. Kind of hostile when you first get in there. A tip: download the Cinemark app and pre-purchase your tickets and select your seats. Don't expect any good seats walking up and buying tickets even a half hour prior to showtime. Average food, average cinema, average prices, too many ads before the movie started, good seats. Went to a 1:40 movie today. Well, that's what it was listed as. The movie actually started at 2:10. A full 30 minutes of absolute garbage before the film started. A few coming attractions, some commercials and who knows what other junk they shoved down our throats. Mind you, there were all of 5 people in the auditorium. Very poor job by Cinemark. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to go see a movie late at night. When we entered auditorium 12, we witnessed two people having intercourse in one of the chairs near the top. We immediately left and told the employees working, but they said management wasn't there so nothing would be done. They did give us a ticket for the next day, but it was still a horrific experience and we will be forever scarred from ever seeing a movie in auditorium 12 again. read more

6-3-22 Friday Evening So happy happy hubby agreed to go see Top Gun here. We are staying in the area for the weekend and was dying to go to the movies. It has been two long years without going due to the pandemic. When we got to the theater the parking lot was easy peasy and close to where we were going. I went to the window only a couple people ahead of me. Once it was my turn I asked if we could get into the movie that started but unfortunately only single seats left. So I got tickets for next showing only a 15 minute wait. You pick your seats on the screen. The price was crazy affordable at $11.38 a ticket for stadium seats that recline as well has a heater if you are cold. Next up snacks Cherry Coke for me Regular Coke for hubby as well as small popcorn and Milk duds. That of course was another twenty bucks. Well worth it as the popcorn was fresh and buttered perfectly. The sodas were great as well just the right amount of ice and wasn't flat. I would definitely come back again next visit. It truly was the highlight of our trip. It made hubby fall in love with going to the movies again! read more

I just had a baby, so maybe my nerves were bad but from the start this experience sucked. My husband and I were finally on a date night for the first time since having my son and we were excited to see a movie together. While sitting in the theatre a group of four teenagers came in as well. I don't think they paid for their tickets because a couple came in later and told them to move out of their seats, so they did. The whole time though this group is laughing, talking, walking in front of the screen, walking around the theatre and just being obnoxious. To make matters worse this really tall gentleman rushes the door, looks all around the movie theatre and randomly picks a seat right by my husband. (We're second row from the back). He sits down, zips his jacket to his chin, throws and mask over his nose and mouth and starts texting someone. We immediately got our stuff to leave. He then looks all around and behind him, right then someone he knows (from the group of four teenagers) tries to walk up to him and he shoos them away in a hurried manner. While telling customer service about this, I believe this kids name was Owen-he mocked me for being nervous about that encounter. "Just because someone wears a jacket and a mask, you're scared of them?" Well sorry my husband and I BOTH got super nervous and bad vibes from this guy and the feeling didn't go away. We got our money back and also talked to the manager because that was unacceptable. Neither one of them cared and were completely useless. read more

Cute location in a shopping center. It was nicely kept interior with sufficient options for snacks. A pretty basic experience. The staff was friendly enough. Not mean, not overly helpful either just there mind their own business. The seats in the theater look great! They are electronic and recline. They even have a heater button! Nice. But the only thing, they were a tad uncomfortable. I feel like they tilt my neck forward just a little too much so I wish they could recline more or some of the cushion was taken out because it hurt my neck. The bathrooms were clean and basic. The doors kind of push you around though! They are hard to open and close. You have to lean into them with your shoulder to push them closed and lock it. Parking is in the back of the theater. It's a long walk to the front so I hope when you go it's not raining. But we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The sound in the theater was for some reason low, but they do have the latest movies running. This is the closest theater to where we were visiting in Beaufort, SC so there's slim pickings for theaters. It's nice if you really want to see a movie, but you won't be wowed. read more

This theater is super cute. It's pretty small. I enjoyed the recliner style seating. This is the first theater I have been to where I noticed heated recliner seats. The cashier at the ticket booth wasn't too friendly. I felt rushed, especially when picking a seat. But there wasn't anyone in line behind us. We opted not to get anything from the concession stand since we had just eaten dinner. The price of the movie wasn't bad. Two tickets were $24 with a senior discount for one. There is a pretty cool Cinemark Movie Club deal for $8.99 a month. Inside smelled a little funny, kind of like a moldy, older smell. The restroom stalls are super small. It was hard getting in and closing the door/out and closing the door without touching the toilet!! Yuck!! The theater is located in the center of a shopping and dining complex. There's signs throughout the complex stating parking for the theater is in the rear and the front parking is for the businesses and restaurants only. I wasn't too pleased about this, especially when we had to walk around the entire building to get to the ticket booth. I'm not a fan of parking in unfamiliar and dimly lit areas at night. I don't think I would return if I was in the area. read more

I love this movie theater. I live in Walterboro, but when we want to go to the movies we almost always travel to Bluffton and come here. It's large and spacious with a good staff. In addition to the theaters, they have an arcade, that my kids love. The concessions (though overpriced) have always tasted fresh. In the Bluffton area, it's a great place to see the latest movie releases. read more

I was visiting friends in Sun City and this theater was the closest that was open. I purchased tickets online and that included seat assignments. Upon arrival, I simply showed the QR Code on my phone and was directed to the appropriate screen. Upon finding our seats, I was very pleased with the seats. They were spacious and comfortable. They reclined and even had a heater which felt great as it was very cold outside. We did not purchase any snacks so I cannot review that aspect of the theater experience. The bathroom was quite clean. There were many hand sanitizers throughout the theater. I will likely see more movies in this theater next time I'm in the area. read more

This is our go-to movie theater. It's an hour drive from where we live but it's worth the drive when you compare it to our local one. I've never had any issues with the staff and I find the seats (for the most part) comfortable. Of course the concessions are overpriced.... it is a movie theater after all. The pretzel nuggets with the cheese dipping sauce is very tasty. You do need to wait for 5-10 minutes for them to be made, but it's worth it. Great for a date night of family outing. read more

They give military discounts, but you're unable to have it verified and applied to reserve tickets online. If you reserve online and ask at the ticket counter upon arrival to pick up your tickets if you can get the discounted price they told me you have to give up your reserved seats and pick new ones.
