I've been to NCG Cinema Savannah many times now and it's become one of my favorite places in town to catch a movie. The theater is always clean, the seats are comfortable, and the overall experience feels a lot more relaxed than some of the bigger chain theaters. The screens and sound quality are great, and it's easy to just sit back and enjoy the movie without a bunch of distractions. What a great experience! We're in town because my little ones are on fall break. I brought them here for a matinee and it was smooth sailing. Knowing we'd be rolling in just at the start time, I pre-purchased our tickets online and expected that we'd skip the movie snacks. When we arrived, however, we were the only people in the lobby so it was easy to purchase snacks (no waiting!). Interestingly, the ticket counter is inside and customers purchase snacks at that same counter. I was surprised to be handed a bag to dispense my own popcorn. Visiting with my family this week and we were looking for something chill to do before bedtime, this movie theater was the perfect choice. Located in a plaza with target & a dollar store made it even better. The kids had something to look forward to after the movie. We pre purchased tickets online before arrival. Upon arrival checked in at front desk for our tickets, purchased popcorn candy & drinks. The staff is super friendly it's pretty quiet so the place is kept clean. The butter popcorn smell is my absolute favorite, 10/10 would recommend if in the area looking for something indoors to do. read more

Wow! When I tell you I haven't been to a theater in forever, I MEAN IT! We decided to visit 3/3/24 to watch Bob Marley, one love. We purchased our tickets online. $12 each and we got to pick out our seats. There's a lot of parking spots in the shopping center. The outside was very clean. Our time was 4:25pm and it wasn't busy at all. The service was great! Everyone was sweet and helpful. We got popcorn, hotdogs, and two drinks. The prices were pretty pricey but I guess it's just the times. The entire movie theater was VERY clean!! I was so impressed. The bathroom was also spotless which is a big deal these days! The movie theater is not that big but it's just right! The seats are comfy and are reclining! So that's all a plus. Final Verdict: I haven't been to a movie theater in forever because sometimes it can be too busy and not going to lie they give me a bit of anxiety but that being said, NCG cinema did it right! If you're looking for a nice and clean theater this is the place for you!! TIP: they have drink specials M-F before 6pm! read more

We went here to see Wicked this past weekend and it was an interesting experience. We planned on getting some food beyond popcorn and when we got there we were told they only had hot dogs and chicken tenders so we ordered some tenders. Also got popcorn and a drink. After waiting about 15 minutes we were told they didn't have any food so we had to wait in line again to get a refund which I have still seen in my account. I did talk to the manager and he said it was okay if we went and got something and brought it into the theater so that is what we did. The theater itself is decent, not the newest but lots of rooms in the rows and the seats do recline. If you are short and no one is sitting in front of you it is possible you might not be able to see over the seats and see the bottom of the screen if they are not reclined. Overall I have mixed feelings about this theater but they do offer a decent price so that is worth considering. read more

I was really excited when this movie theater opened especially since it has recliner seats the seats were comfortable, but I did not like the set up. It was hard to see over the seat in front of you. The movie we went to see didn't start until over 30 minutes late. We weren't even allowed into the theater before the movie time because it still hadn't been cleaned. There were no snacks available! We bought tickets ahead of time or else we would have left immediately. There was dry popcorn and that's it. No butter, or anything else. NO OTHER SNACK AT ALL! We even ordered 2 drinks and we got the choice of root beer or mellow yellow. EVERYTHING else was sold out on the machines. So for $28 I got a bucket of DRY, FLAVORLESS popcorn, and two cups of ice. No lid or anything, they were out of those too. ‍ Definitely will not come back here, no matter how close it is to my house. read more

It was easy to purchase tickets online before the movie. Prices for movie tickets are half what I usually end up paying so that was awesome! I was able to take more people. Easily my new favorite theater in Savannah due to its proximity to home, its cleanliness and film selection. We like the self-serve popcorn with free refills and there are usually good seating options. Like others have mentioned, there is very little slope to the theater so the view of the screen can be obstructed. It's not a deal breaker for us but worth noting. read more

So we got on the road for alil Memorial Day getaway and decided to drive to Savannah, it was about a 4 hour drive from Atlanta. And on the same day, Top Gun came out, one of my favorites! So of course we had to see it! So the theater was fairly new still, it still have that "new smell". The movie was perfectly splendid! This theatre seems to be newer. It has reclining seats which is always nice and very spacious in the theatre itself.

Very comfy theater and seats. Very loud sound. I'll say it's about time this town got a nice place to watch movies. It's been a while for me because the places around here were so bad for a while. It saddens me to say that my son experienced racial profiling in this movie theater today. Apparently there was a group of kids causing a disturbance and because customers stated it was a group of black boys, they immediately put him out without warning. When I spoke to the manager(Buddy) and the responding staff(Brandon) neither one of them could identify my son as the involved party. There were no cameras or any type of documentation linking my son to this incident. When I asked for a refund, the manager immediately said no, but he stated that refunds were issued to several other customers who warranted the complaint. When it was stated that this seems like a race issue, the manager immediately disengaged from the conversation. read more

My son (16) bought tickets for a PG13 movie at 630 for a date. Upon arriving, he wasn't allowed in the theater because he wasn't 17. Absolutely ridiculous, the reason given was "because we sell alcohol". This is not on their website and doesn't make sense....if it's because they sell alcohol why is it 17? read more

Had an amazing time with my friends here. Staff was incredible. We saw the Barbie movie and everyone was just so incredible.

We took our teen grandsons to the movies even though they have never been a big fan of movie theaters. We were blown away by the wide aisles, recliners for everyone, all you can eat self-serve popcorn, immaculate restrooms and friendly staff. My friend and I made a reservation here, but the system had the movie booked for the Atlanta location. We spoke with the managers, who were incredibly helpful and friendly, and accommodating towards us. They told us their system hadn't been working, so they offered us a private viewing. I decided to visit the NCG theatre with my boyfriend for our anniversary. I drove from Virginia to spend the day with him in Savannah. We decided to reserve our tickets online and early so we could have nice seats and our day would go smoothly. When we arrived to the theatre, we were informed our seats were double booked and there was nothing they could do and that it just happens sometimes! The staff were incredibly friendly and apologetic, however, they were unable to give us a full refund for a movie we didn't get to see and came out of our way for, which ended up leaving us with nothing to do for 2 hours until our later dinner reservations. I would not ever go back, because I cannot trust that I would get to see the movie that I payed for. read more
