The Love Gods smiled upon us and granted a table close to the front with an awesome view of the stage. Perfect table for the perfect date! Starters set the tone. What's this? A Welcome Charcuterie Platter?! It appears out of nowhere as our server takes our drink orders. The service here is impeccable! Impressive spread of cheesy, meaty goodness! The fries were done nicely but there was hardly any chicken in my wrap, I was still hungry and should have ordered the burger or nachos. The experience was fine, the seats are comfy enough, it could have been cooler in the theatre but I run hot. At the end when we paid for our food, they didn't ask about boxes, so I had to take my food out to the front to ask for a box. Before we left, I went to use their bathrooms and man was it disgusting. There was toilet paper, candies and popcorn thrown all about the place. I completely understand that this bathroom is used by both the movie and restaurant guests but it was a little nasty, people need to be mindful of their children making messes in the stalls. Overall, not sure if I'd come back, the costs don't outweigh the service or quality of food, I'd just go to AMC La Jolla and save some monies and get cleaner venue and potentially better eats.

Of course just like any other venue of this type, it is priced above what you would normally pay for those items. I always try to sit in the orchestra section because I feel there is more leg room, and I hate to feel cramped. The seats also seem a bit more comfortable in that section. I will say I honestly don't think you could have a bad seat in this theater though. The sound is usually fine, but I will say for Moulin Rouge I had trouble hearing what they were saying especially during the songs. I love that everyone is always so helpful when trying to find your seat, they will walk you to your section and show you exactly where you need to go, which is nice because it can get chaotic with so many people ushering in. Overall this is a great location and the shows they have are amazing. Definitely reccomend looking at the season and seeing what they have to offer, they're is usually something for everyone

We arrived for the show and were immediately greeted by Leonard, one of the staff and musicians. He showed us our seats, pointed out the musicians, let us know they'd be starting shortly, and brought us menus with beer, wine, and a few canned cocktail options. The space was small and intimate. The musicians introduced themselves and spoke directly to the crowd before and during their show. It was awesome to feel really immersed in the experience. They did a fantastic job riffing off of each other and giving space to one another for an engaging and entertaining performance.
