One of the No Haze double haze IPAs I brought back with me. My bf loved it.
    Brenda D.

Craft beer in Mexico has been on the rise for the last couple of years, and Mamut has been a pioneer for it in Baja. I took some friends from San Diego to visit this brewery and we were delighted by the convenient location and excellent service. But the main star of the show is their beer, as it should be. I started off with their Sessions IPA "En la Terraza", followed by their "Vanilla Latte Stout", then I had their "Old School" IPA, and ended with their "No Hazy" Hazy double IPA (by far their best, and most delicious beer, I bought a couple of cans to bring back home with me). A little tipsy but super happy. Mamut brewery provides a very open space with different sitting settings, yummy food, and a modern/contemporary feeling to its premises. I would definitely stop by for a fun time or to grab beer on-the-go. Let's support local businesses and keep this craft beer deal going.

Beer flight. The Mr. Willy is THE best if you love a good red ale.

I loved everything about this place, except its a little hard to find. But once you do, its a great time. We chose to sit outside, ordered the margarita pizza and nachos and WOW. Both were incredible. We ordered a flight that you see below. I love a good red or brown and Mr. Willy was it. Customer service was great, and on a Wednesday afternoon the vibe was better than expected.

Randomly stopped in here on a day trip hitting up different bars.  I tried a sampler of: en la terraza session IPA pool side IPA hop topic hazy don pepe wit bier All were pretty decent.  IPA's were good but did stand out to me.  Hazy and wit bier were pretty good. Service was good.  Nice relaxing atmosphere. Room for some reason reminded me of someone's empty formal dining room.  It must have been the crown moulding, dark floors, and white walls.  When I stopped in, did not see any food options.  Definitely would like to stop in again and try some other beers.

Great vibes, beer, and amazing food. Recommend to search for Mumut Pasaje to take you directly to the huddle staircase.

Great atmosphere, breeze in the balcony was awesome. Pizza was as good as it looks. Definitely a fun place to link up with your group of friends and enjoy some brews.

An above average brewery located in Tijuana. Their selection of beers is decent and I really appreciated the environment that is welcoming to tourists. I had a german stout that was pretty okay. I really like that the bar was a great place to hang out and call as a "homebase" on my visit to TJ and I really found their prices to be incredibly cheap. They have a pretty solid rooftop with a shaded roof that offers a lovely view out over the street.

I was really excited to come t this place and it was the first stop on my wife and I's zona central brewery stop. Most of the beers served here are their own. They also have the typical Mexican beers here as well. I ordered a Belgian dubbel, high alcohol content to get the juices flowing. It was smooth with the caramel notes and caramel color. Just how I like 'em. The wife ordered a DIPA as per the usual. The traditional hop strong west coast IPA. They have a wide range of beers here. Inside the place is humongous. With 2 big rooms that can easily hold parties of 35-40 people each. Outside there is an upstairs patio that is pet friendly and smoking friendly. It was great being able to have a beer and lookout onto the city from here as a breeze rushes through the open patio. Service here is so so. Well at least server pouring the beers was. She was pretty bland, non emotional, without even cracking a smile, or even a fake one at that. P.S. food is served here, but we did not order any.

    Rooftop and beers in Tijuana.

**NICE ROOFTOP HANGOUT AND SOLID IPA** Our first stop on our brewery and taco tour. PARKING ======== Street or nearby lots. AMBIANCE ========= Rooftop views and seating. Funky cathedral bell overlooking the patio. Friendly staff. RATING: 4/5 BEER ===== Since it is a brewery, the beer is made onsite. Enjoyed their Belgian IPA. RATING: 4/5 OVERALL ======== Good first stop to enjoy the rooftop views with some beers.

Gr8 place to grab some table beer, what the heck is table beer????? They have a good selection of taps. I have yet to try the food but walking around checking out the dishes it def looks worthy and next time I pop in I'm def giving it a go!! The people's are chill, friendly, professional. Outside seating provides a nice view of TJ. Give it a go!!

How to be a HIPSTER in Baja California, Go to the Hidden Mamut Brewery on Avenida Revolución. Mamut is my true definition of the hippest hipster brewery in Tijuana. My Swedish friends and I accidentally found this brewery as we were browsing the local vendors and shops on Avenida Revolucion. We saw a small group of trendy people drinking beers atop a Spanish style building. Right away we knew we wanted to be a part of that seemingly interesting crowd. It took us about 5 minutes to figure out the secret/not so secret steps leading up the to brewery. There are no Visible signs that point the brewery itself. It's located next to a small bakery. This a mom and pop style brewery is quaint, provides tastings of their beer, and offers an upscale type menu for the Tijuana area. My friends and I really enjoyed sipping Mamuts signature hoppy IPA while watching the sunset on the Tijuana horizon. We also sampled a flight of their beers, but the IPA was clearly our winner. Tijuana is no longer known for just being about Tacos and Tequila. Its great to see the rising of trendy Craft Beers across the border. Mamut should be on everyone's to do list when visiting the Tijuana area.

Mamut is a great place to hang out with locals and in group settings. We went on a Saturday and let's say the service was slow (service 8/10), we ordered the meat lovers pizza and the Blanca, with hot dogs, sangrias and a Romana salad; pizza took over 49 minutes which they gave us heads up and understandable since it's the weekend during peek hours. Food was worth the wait (10/10), just wish they were a bit more attentive. Also, beer selection was (4/10) didn't have almost anything on tap. They give you a beer menu with all these delicious beer but the selection was more than limited. Overall, I would go back, food, location and brewery and something to experience!

Spacious brewery in Tijuana. I'd go here for the beer and not for their food. Granted I only tried their nachos and pizza but of both were just ok. I'd rather save my stomach for one of the many taco stands/restaurants nearby. The bartender was nice and even offered to give me samples when I couldn't make up my mind. There are two lines for ordering - the left is for food only and the right is for beer and food.

Beer here is good is goes great with their pepperoni pizza which by far is the best pizza in all of Tijuana it is delicious! I liked their en la terraza IPA!

    amazing food.

I love this place! The beer is very good (and cheap). The food is also very good - a variety of pizzas and other items (such as this amazing sausage). Often, they will have bands or other events in the back area. One of my favorites is "drink and draw".

Hidden in a little indoor mall is one of the tiniest craft breweries I've seen -- just a window where they serve great craft beer, with a few tables to sit at. We tried a stout and an IPA. Both were very good-- the stout was low ABV but not watery and tasted great, and the IPA was around 7% and was quite hoppy and bitter, a true West Coast style IPA. You won't find tasters, but they serve 12, 16, and 20 ounce pours for between 30 - 45 pesos, depending on the size of the pour. They had an ad on the wall for beer brewing classes, too -- it would be a really cool thing to check out, especially if you're local. Estefany B. is right; the location is hard to find! Here's how to get there: go down the Pasaje Revolucion located at #942 Revolucion, and at the end of the hallway you'll see a little indoor mall. Azteca is on the basement level; there are signs once you get to the back of the Pasaje; Baja Brew Labs is there, as well. Viva la cerveza artesenal!
