Strong but tasty

Food: Great! Service: Solid 4/5. The atmosphere is fun and the music is good. This location had an increase of dine & dashers in the previous years and as a result, they charge you before your food comes. Not a problem. My problem is with being charged 20% gratuity that shows up in my transactions, but not on the receipt. We are made aware that a party of 6+ will automatically be charged 18%. I, one person, was automatically charged 20%, that I would've given on my own by the way, and it was wiped from my receipt. I understand paying before we are served, but we as customers deserve to tip as WE see fit, not as they see fit. I still tipped $5 just in case of the off chance that it was a mistake, or that it went to someone other than my server. I've loved this place over the years but there are better places that deserve gratuity, and that would allow me to make that decision on my own.

"Cajun" fried rice with sausage...for those of us not really into the boil scene.

IMO, NONE of the, now ubiquitous, crab shacks in this town deserve 5 stars. But, of all the crab boil joints in Toledo, Cincy Crab is probably the best, and I grade on a normal curve. Therefore, 5 stars!! Maybe it was just that the spirit of Christmas Eve blessed us with good fortune, but everyone in my family had a very positive experience. The wife is VERY picky when it comes to her seafood. Even so, she thought her shrimp cocktail and raw oysters (on the half shell) were excellent. She was seriously surprised by how fresh they were, in both taste and texture. She also had the scallops, Cajun boiled, medium. Her only complaint, as well as mine, is that all of the boil formulations use too much butter (soy butter actually), and butter flavor comes through. Too much. It's much like getting wings with mild sauce...you think you're going to drown in butter. I'm not into the whole "boil scene," not outside of Arcadiana, anyway. So, I ordered Cajun fried rice with sausage. Although the rice was a bit dry, in general, I was quite pleased. The dish was surprisingly tasty! Who cares what the kids got. They ordered some messy, hoty, buttery, seafoody, boily things. They were happy. Beer selection? Not great. But, when I'm eating things that are especially hot, I'm perfectly content with a light domestic lager...specifically, Coors light, baby! Special shout out to our waiter, Tracy. This guy was fantastic. He, and his crew, really went out of their way, on Christmas Eve, to make our meal fun and special.

Came in to order Togo. It was very busy that night but the staff were super friendly and quick with my order. I was pleasantly surprised with the pricing and quality of my meal. Would love to get food from here again.

Finally made it to Cincy Crab and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Simply wow! This place is amazing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, & help you with any questions. Nicely decorated and clean. Our server, Anahi, was great! Food was hot, delicious, & not overcooked as can sometimes be the case with seafood boil restaurants. But not Cincy Crab. They do it right! We ordered; snow crab, head off shrimp, scallops, garlic butter & Cajun seasoning without spice & EVERYTHING was delicious!! Oh and the drinks.... Yummy!! We had the peach mojito & the Crab Claw. Reasonly priced and worth every penny! I can't wait to come back. We will be regulars for sure!

Loaded with flavor and in from New Orleans. This buttery garlic sauce is great. Try it.

Kristen was a great server and the garlic butter on the shrimp and snow crabs were fantastic. I also haven't had corn this good in a long time. Sweet and spicy with the garlic butter. I was very nervous at first bc they indicated a bunch of incidents where people don't pay and walk out. It can't be bc of the food bc it was great and reasonably priced. The savanna bananas were playing also. Made me eat a second round. Now to the gym.

The crab is really good, the shrimp was not bad too. Good vibes inside and the staff were really nice. Only complaint is that the garlic butter could've been saltier.

Dropped in on a Friday night. The place wasn't busy at all. They seemed to be limited in their wait staff however our waitress did very well given how many tables she had. Others in the restaurant were getting the famous seafood boil which came in a bag with a bib. Looked good we just were not up for the mess. The catfish platter came with plenty of food. The hush puppies were very good. The cat fish was average. Overall a decent place, I would return and try another dish.

I seen the place was only 2.5 stars so I read the reviews and most of them were just referring to the service lol . But the actual food WAS TASTY AF!! I got snow crab legs which they were kinda smaller then usual with sausage eggs and potatoes . The meal Was great , the food did take a little minute to come out but the waitress was nice and tried her best .. but for the most part I loved it

Ambiance was dark- like a bar-type of atmosphere- which didn't matter because it was an overcast day in Ohio. It was also more of a sports var as there were lots of TV screens. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich after being assured by my server that it was one of her favorites. It came with delicious French Fries. The sandwich was good but not amazing. For my taste, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but better than undercooked. The fries were delicious, even though I only ate a few. Before I went to college, I worked in a nice seafood restaurant and our nightly task was to make sure ketchup containers were full. Therefore, I noticed that my container of ketchup was down to the last few squirts. Never a good thing/sound! Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of your way to try, imo. I see that others gave it better reviews, so this is my experience, Pictures below...

We had NO CLUE they give you a free birthday entree. What an awesome surprise! I had the crabcake sandwich. My fiance had the Blackened Swordfish. We both enjoyed out entrees immensely. Wow! I am blown away at the variety and quality of the seafood at Fish Market…read more It's located right on the border of Michigan and Ohio, in a not so glamorous part of town. The parking lot is A good size and that was helpful because I came here during the Covid pandemic and no more than five customers were allowed in the building at one time. When I arrived there was a line of people waiting to get in. It's a little brisk outside so I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay but I really wanted to find some better salmon than what I had been getting at Kroger. When it was my turn to go in I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were several people behind the counters helping customers. I found the salmon that I wanted and, naturally because I was waiting to pay, I selected a couple of more things to buy. I got an eggroll and I was surprised at how good it was given that it came from a seafood store. Took the salmon home and made the recipe that I had found in a magazine - my husband is not a huge fan of salmon but he absolutely loved how fresh the fish tasted. In fact he loved it so much that two weeks later when I suggested that we make the salmon again he went with me to the Fish Market. In addition to getting the salmon we ended up buying some swordfish and some frozen alligator chunks. He ended up making the alligator into tacos and that was surprisingly good. The only bad news is that we are moving into weeks to about 25 miles north of Detroit. I don't know how often will be able to come here but I'm sure when we do come down to Toledo to visit friends, We will bring a cooler with us to pick up some fish on our trip home.

They also have a variety of fresh and frozen fish, including stuffed flounder that is easy to bake and serve at home. The one thing I didn't like was their clam chowder, the potatoes were kind of overcooked and the flavor was bland. Overall, I would recommend this market for good seafood selection and freshness.
