Chips are OK, salsa is a bit lacking. The margaritas are pre-mixed in some jug and not like what you would expect. They offer like 6 margaritas and all of them are pre-mixed bucket juice. Not good. The fajitas were OK, no real effort on the meats in the fajitas. Nothing here stands out. There were no specials or anything remotely like that. Lot's of employees standing around. Real lack of pride in ownership and management here. No hustle, no fun and craptastic margaritas. If your choice is to eat raw lizards or get a taco here you should flip a coin. read more

Very pleased to see this place taking CV-19 rules very seriously. Felt very comfortable dining inside here and have been in a couple times since CV-19 pandemic started. Barriers between tables, the spacing, staff and management also taking mask wearing seriously and serious cleaning between patrons. Pricing is in alignment for value received. Stopped by with a friend for lunch. No lunch menu. ok. We both ordered the sampler @ $12.99 each. Food arrived. Greens were a bit dry so I asked for hot sauce. Waitress said that would be another $1.50 added to the check. Not the money, but the idea that a Mexican restaurant does not carry bottled hot sauce or wants to charge for it....hummm. So I asked about a small amount of dressing for the greens. Waitress asked if I meant bottled dressing like Wishbone. I said that would work and she said it was free only if I ordered a salad and that there would be an extra fee. Later she came by and asked us very loudly as she walked by," You ok, girls". I honestly can't say enough of this place. I moved to Epping in March of 2020 from Dover, where I regularly went to Cinco de Mayo (same owners). I think Cinco's Cantina opened about a month prior, so I joked that my favorite Mexican place followed me. Awesome Margaritas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, taco salads, and house specialties (The Brickyard Burrito is a particular favorite). Although the chips were nothing special the salsa was very good and spicy. Ordered the sampler to go and it was ok. Not a large quantity and bland flavor. Honestly best Mexican restaurant in NH. I know how real Mexican food taste like and this is the closest you will get here in NH. Owners are amazing and are from Mexico which makes the food even more authentic. Waitresses are always professional and friendly. Food is amazing. The service not so much the server took 15 minutes just to greet us but not until I went to the front desk host to ask him if anyone will come serve us. It took her 10min to bring the drinks and didn't bring the chips and salsa when I asked about it she disappeared for 15min then came back without it at that point a gentleman approached us I think he might be the owner or manager and asked if we got the chips and salsa yet and we said no she just looked at us and said ooh that's what I forgot. The food is absolutely delicious! My husband and I both love the shrimp with peppers and onions appetizer. We have been several times and each time we have been impressed. The only thing holding the restaurant back is the service. The food comes out promptly but each time we've dined in, our server has been less than attentive. Wow. This is incredible mexican food. I'm a Mexican food fanatic- even cooking staples myself at home, however cincos is CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS. Everything is so fresh- lots of vegetarian options, awesome apps, good margaritas, great Mexican rice, awesome aoli with the tacos, even homemade hot sauce which kicks wonderfully. The complimentary chips and salsa are perfect- chips thin salty crispy warm and fresh, and the salsa light and fresh with a bit of a kick at the end- a great nod to the rest of a delicious meal. We have had shrimp tacos, mixed fajitas, quest de fundito, shrimp queso app, Cammarones el Diablo- shrimp in a spicy chili sauce, the seafood soup, fish tacos- all which were GREAT. Last time we went, the owner was walking around inquiring of his quests about the quality of their meals. That says a lot in and of itself. The effort is here, and it shows. The food is amazing! I had the nachos supreme with shredded chicken and I added their street corn and homemade guacamole to it. So many levels of flavor. You can tell it was made fresh. The food and service here is top notch. You also get a good amount of food for what you pay for. I got take out because it was a long day and by the time I got home the food was still hot. I stopped in to Cinco's as I was in the mood for tacos, but Cinco's doesn't do tacos ala carte. Which is okay because what I ordered was WAY better than a taco. The place still looks like Tortilla Flats, I think they may have expanded the bar. The bathroom sinks are the same, which I love. A few things stood out... it was super warm in there. It's possible I was having a hot flash, so theres that. The prices were VERY affordable. For the portions sizes, you are most certainly getting more than your monies worth. I had the seafood chimichanga. It came with beans and rice and guacamole salad. It was total yums!!! The chimis were filled to the brim with shrimp and haddock. The sauce was flavorful and well balanced. Super tasty guacamole, rice was perfect and the refried beans had just the right amount of kick. I wanted to try the flan, but I was way too full. This new restaurant opened just as Covid restrictions were placed, not sure if they even got a serving in before. Getting takeout from restaurants in the same plaza we noticed there was always a line of cars waiting for their curbside takeout, piqued our interest and we read a few reviews, all very good. We ordered take out tonight and it was excellent, even though it was a 15 minute drive home after pick up, so we are looking forward to a dine in experience. I always can tell a good Mexican restaurant based on the salsa and chips, a restaurant that takes the time and care to make their own fresh salsa tells you what care will go into preparing your meal. We visited on a Saturday night. It was not too crowded. We sat down and we got chips and salsa. There were 5 of us and the bowls were very small and only half full. I ordered a Sangrita - Sangria with tequila- it was just ok...nothing great. Then we asked for more chips and the waitress said she would get them for us but not to expect any more because they were running low- really? Go across the parking lot to Market Basket and get more! Unbelievable. We ordered our food. I got the Hawaiian fajitas. I was very disappointed. There was very little meat in it and I ordered chicken and steak and it was served in a pineapple- it wasn't it was a pineapple ring and there were like 3 pieces of pineapple. It was still good. Then we were done and the waitress brings us our bill....wait....did you want to sell us dessert? So we gave her our credit cards and asked if they didn't offer dessert and she said yes they did and she could add it on......we got dessert and it was good. The food was just ok. Order our dinner from here through their online ordering website, said it would be ready in 35min. We show up right on time and end up waiting an additional 1.5 hours.. with no answer as to when our food will be ready. We kindly asked to cancel our order at this point and that apparently was impossible as well. Asked to speak with the manager but he never came out to speak with us. We were never upset or angry and waited patiently for the additional 1.5 hours as we understand the difficulty in staffing and meeting the demands in the food industry, however the complete disregard and disrespect was blatant. We never got to speak with a manger, but asked to leave our info and we would get a call the following day for a refund as our food was obviously not going to be made at this point. Never got a call the following day and ended up having the call ourselves for the refund. We will not be going here again. read more

My girlfriends and I dined at Cinco's Cantina last night. We loved the salsa and chips to start, the atmosphere was great, and we felt very safe in our booth as it was spaced out and private. We ordered the tableside guacamole and it was worth every penny. The server came out and made it fresh to our liking. We all ordered a margarita and they were delightful, not too sour and not too sweet. We then had a mixture of shrimp tacos, chicken tortilla soup, and enchilada's. All wonderful. Our server's name was Rich. He had amazing energy and was so attentive. WONDERFUL experience!!! read more
