As soon as I walked through the doors, I noticed a really bad smell throughout the entire store. The carpet was extremely dirty and made the whole place feel run-down and poorly maintained. For a CVS located in such a busy shopping center, I honestly expected the store to be much cleaner and more welcoming. The customer service was also practically nonexistent. There was no one around asking customers if they needed help or even acknowledging them when they came in. It felt like you were completely on your own. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was seeing a man putting items into his backpack and appearing to steal merchandise. There was a security guard standing right by the entrance, but I did not see the guard take any action. I obviously can't speak to what the security guard may or may not have been aware of, but as a customer, witnessing that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I hope management takes a serious look at the condition of the store, customer service, and overall security because the experience was far below what I would expect from CVS.

Coincidentally, Tamir was also a patient of my doctor and so he could read his especially messy hand writing and never refused to fill a script because it was too hard too read- another thing I can't say for CVS. My experiences here were quite good, to be fair. I called to transfer an prescription from a different Walgreens, the staff looked it up, said it was held up in the other store due to insurance charges, but then the next day they cleared it and got the prescription ready for it. That was very considerate and great service. When I came to get the 1st prescription, I had a second one to fill, it was incomplete (missing some key information) and the staff directed me to have my doctor's office call them... the issue was cleared in minutes. I waited about 20 minutes for the whole thing, which to me isn't unreasonable... During the process I sat right outside the pharmacy and saw how busy the staff was - phones were ringing constantly and many prescriptions seem to have issues! I imagine the operation of a pharmacy can be quite complex. But the few people who came during this short period seemed to have gotten what they wanted and left promptly. The store doesn't have a nice front entrance on Wilshire; you have to go to the back where there is a small entrance. The building seems a bit old but inside was clean and organized and the cashier on duty was friendly.

Gaslighting at its finest. I've been waiting an entire month for this medication. When they finally called, I was out of town, but I still contacted them BEFORE the hold date expired. Now magically it's gone? And they already told me before that if people don't pick up certain medications fast enough, they give them to their "regulars." So now I'm left without my medication because Jazmin says so? That's ridiculous. Don't call patients and tell them their prescription is ready if you're just going to give it away and pretend it never existed. I have screenshots, voicemail proof, and the app history. This is beyond unprofessional. THE WORST because them giving my medication to another person, I have to suffer ? Been coming to this Walgreens for 4+ years and, honestly, have just gotten sick of the recurring…read moreproblems with getting medication filled... the same medication that has been filled for 4+ years, YET AGAIN, has the spouse's doctor saying they sent the medication over not once, not twice, but three times over the past 10 days. Walgreens claims they never received it...despite sending us text messages that they received a refill request. Called them four times, every time (excluding today) the person answering the phone couldn't give the tiniest of care to help solve the issue -- "we don't have it, call your doctor". It got so bad that our doctor was about to call on our behalf when I, instead, finally just called around and found a local pharmacy that received the prescription, called us about 20 minutes later, and had it filled and ready to go in about 10 minutes after that. 30 minutes, start to finish, no hassle, no rude staff, no endless stress wondering if you'll be running into the same recurring problems time and time again. This is the same Walgreens where we had to actually have the INSURANCE COMPANY call to tell them to fill... drumroll... the exact same prescription we're having trouble with again. Just so sick of it. If this is how this location continues to do business, I suspect they'll get themselves roped into the latest round of Walgreen's shutters.
