I had a prescription transferred to Garfield pharmacy and it was a good experience. The pharmacy I originally had my prescription sent to was out of stock and needed to order it. I was in the area so I walked into Garfield to ask if they had it in stock. They did! They took my information and got my prescription transferred quickly. I got a text when it was ready. Eddie, the pharmacist on duty, was so helpful and lovely. He answered all my questions and helped me shop for another over the counter product I needed in the pharmacy. They have a large selection of over the counter items. It was a pleasure. Park at a meter on the street. Unfortunately, Garfield doesn't validate parking it you park in the medical building. read more

They engage in price gouging: a generic 20 mg medication I had to pay $260 for a month ago ($60 at CVS with GoodRX but they're out), and today they wanted to charge me $560 for 30 mg. Absolutely ridicilous! read more

Needed a nebulizer and I called 2 places that didnt have it. My doctor is in the same building and he called down for it and it was in front of my door early the next morning. Great service. read more

*Garfield is a Cool Cat* I like to support local businesses when I can opposed to cooperate chains (like the one across the street) and went to this pharmacy for the first time - though I've walked by several times in the past. I was told they don't carry the exact item I was seeking. But, John, the pharmacist on duty, suggested contacting one of their competitors in BH, and said if they're unable to accommodate me, call him back and he'll try to figure something out. I was very impressed with his suggestion, how he handled my request and situation. John was also extremely kind, helpful and understanding. In addition, the young lady at the front counter area was warm & welcoming too. Thought about giving 4-Stars instead of 5 because they didn't have what I needed. But John's recommendation worked out and even though I wasn't able to make a purchase here, I'll certainly keep Garfield Pharmacy on my contact list, and appreciate how they prioritize their first-time walk-in customer needs. read more

Garfield Pharmacy gets an A+ all the way around. They have competitive prices, excellent customer service/communication, and free next day delivery! I couldn't be happier with them. I have to give a special shout out to Kai, who always goes above and beyond to make sure I get the exact prescriptions I need fast, and is always readily available to answer any of my questions or concerns. Thank you Kai and Garfield Pharmacy, for your hard work and outstanding business practices. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I highly recommend Garfield Pharmacy. It has been a neighborhood pharmacy for years. John the pharmacist is very very helpful and provided me with valuable advise regarding specific medication that I was taking. A personal approach that is much appreciated in a corporate world. They take insurance and their prices are competitive. Also, same day delivery most of the time !!!!!!!!!! read more

I went into the pharmacy today March 4, 2020. They had cold eeze and hand sanitizer which they were selling four times more then the usual price. I find it disgusting that they need to gouge people in a time when people are fearful. I refuse to buy it I'd rather get sick then to pay inflated prices to a place like this. It is very disappointing. I will never shop there again. read more

I concur Jason T. I've used this pharmacy purely for convenience, as it is in the same building as my doctor. I had a prescription refilled, and much to my amazement when I arrived home, it had been shorted 30 pills. I phoned them and basically was called a BLATANT LIAR by the female pharmacist who is currently working there. She also screamed that if she was there when I needed another prescription refillled , not to bother. So my suggestion to all people who frequent this establishment, please check your your prescriptions before leaving the premises... Don't be falsely accused as I was .. Cuz you'll be told , TOUGH ROCKS !! Now I need to revise this review .. The previous staff was definitely insubordinate. They have since revamped and hired a new staff of pleasant and courteous humans. In a world where mediocre is standard, there is a handsome new pharmacist whose name eludes me, and he couldn't be more congenial and professional. The little girl(not really) at the register, Leah, provides pertinent info as to time and availability for your prescriptions which is a plus when your schedule is tight for obligations. It's great to see this staff take pride in their jobs ! I recommend them highly!! Now I once again revise... 5 stars Because they added Saturday hours So it's perfect! read more

Absolutely love Garfield Pharmacy, a friend highly recommended I transfer my prescriptions here and I am so glad I did. I used to use Walgreens/CVS and I always felt the pharmacists/techs were in a rush and couldn't answer the questions I had. Kai is amazing at answering any of my questions and if she doesn't have an answer, Eddie the pharmacy manager will thoroughly explain his answers. They definitely make you feel comfortable and don't rush you out. Also, they have next day delivery!!! You don't have to physically go and take time out of your day to pick up meds. AMAZING!! P.S these Bella Donna lip balms are a game changer. read more

What a great pharmacy!! I can not believe the type of care these guys provide! I went in with my prescription and was immediately dispensed what I needed!! UPDATE: upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars and 3 stars means " A -OK" per yelp - was contacted by management- they offered to replace crappy mask or an alternative. I took the alternative. I found the guy EDDIE - GENUINELY concerned about my issue. Ill try them again now. Original post : what use to be a good pharmacy decided to not only price gouge during C-19 but is selling substandard desperately needed products. They say you can see a persons true Character when they have a power - whether its money or authority or an opportunity to scam instead of serve. Garfield Pharmacy has scammed the neighborhood. read more

Super friendly and attentive staff. I called early morning and they quickly picked up. Fully stocked items and very convenient.

I usually don't write reviews on yelp unless I'm either pleasantly impressed or sorely disappointed. This pharmacy falls in the former category. I used to dread going to the pharmacy... No more!!!!Garfield pharmacy has a friendly staff, great selection of over the counter medications, snacks and beauty supplies and is located in a vibrant shopping neighborhood in beautiful Beverly hills triangle. What struck me the most is the pharmacist's friendly attitude, professional demeanor and wealth of knowledge. Do yourself a favor, skip the lines in busy chain pharmacies and go to Garfield. Great customer service. I was able to find the contact less thermometer that I have been looking for. I so recommend this pharmacy.

So I"m not a drug addict, I just pretend I am. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff run the show here. The best is that Gloria the cashier makes me practice my Spanish with her. Pharmacist has always been willing to go the extra mile for me when I've forgotten to order my pills. Additionally, any time I've had a problem with my insurance, the pharmacist has assisted me with the red tape. THUMBS UP!!! Awesome candy bar selection as well!!! read more

I found this pharmacy after being fed up with Rite Aid across the street being constantly out of stock for everything. Don't even get me started on the long lines. The staff here are nice and get you in and out in about 10 minutes. Really can't beat this kind of service and I'm happy I found this place. A++ read more

I love all the staff here. I went to go pick up my medication today and the staff was very friendly and had my prescription ready within 10 minutes which is unheard of in Beverly Hills. It is always clean and the staff is more than willing to go out of the way to help me and that is why I've always gone here to pick up my medication's for the past five years. I highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family. Thanks again for everything, I will see you guys soon! read more

I understand the person I was dealing with is no longer working there, so I am sure the service has improved.

Garfield Pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. This establishment treats my Girlfriend like Gold!!! Eddie and the group treat her with the care and compassion that she deserves. Lora's case is a rather complicated one with a lot of attention needed. They take so good care of her, I look forward to going with her. Thank you Eddie and the whole gang. Paul S. read more

Absolute waste of time. They don't take United insurance, their hours are only during business hours (and closed on Sundays) which are inaccessible, and they are completely unaccommodating with transfers. Both I and another pharmacist called them to get my insurance transferred but no one answered. It's now 3 days later and no one has my prescription. Good to know no one gives a damn. read more

My pharmacy for 10 years. I love that it's private and family owned makes all the difference in the quality and standard of care. I feel remiss in not getting this review up a long time ago. I love this pharmacy! It's rare enough to even find an individual pharmacy these days outside of the giant chains. And even rarer, to find one that is so warm and accommodating. Eddie, the pharmacist, is a great guy who treats every patient as an individual. And his staff is the same. They don't just have a professional smile pasted on their face. Those are real smiles! (A special shout-out to Leah, who takes such good care of me!) I discovered this place because my family physician has his offices in the same building. And I am so glad I did! read more

The guys at Garfield Pharmacy are great. They automatically applied coupons to my medications and brought the cost down to $75 from over $500! I'm really glad I found this pharmacy in my neighborhood. Thank you!! read more

So my normal pharmacy CVS was out of my prescription medication. Went to RiteAid and they were also out of the medication (with neither being able to tell me when they might actually be getting it in). I walked out of RiteAid, typed in Pharmacies close by and Garfield was a block away. I walked over, gave them my prescription, asked if they had the medication is stock. YES, they did. 5 minutes later my prescription was filled. So, here is the meat of it... the prices were better than the other two above mentioned pharmacies. I wasn't told I would have to wait an hour for them to fill it. An absolute at the other two, if not longer. The pharmacist and staff were super friendly. I believe I have found a new pharmacy. read more

Personally I do not like to ever go to large pharmacy's there is no personal attention. When your sick or you need something I have noticed that Garfield Pharmacy has been the most attentive, fast, and reliable group. This a place to go for all your prescription and over the counter. Chain store takes long time and you will never get service and attention you get here. Eddie is very patient and goes over every side effects and explain all the benefits. He even consults with your doctors and insurances to help you. Is one stop shop. I will be a customer for rest of my life. Thanks Eddie and the team. read more

I thought I loved this place, they had shingles vaccines when no one else had them, but lately they just can't get it together. Filling prescriptions has been difficult and the pharmicists don't know how to get insurance to pay and I end up paying for the items directly without them going through insurance to move things along. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is for past good work, but now they just can't be trusted to come through. read more

This is a wonderful pharmacy. Eddie, the pharmacist that assisted me, was very thorough and helpful with respect to the medication I purchased. What I really appreciated, was that he actually took the time to discuss the nuanced questions I had about the medication and didn't make me feel rushed. Had I gone to a larger chain pharmacy, I don't believe that I would've received the attention and kind bedside manner that I did. I would highly recommend Eddie and his pharmacy for his patient centered approach. read more
