Overall a very good experience! Exceeded expectations. ! The pilot and the crew were very personable and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend this company for sunrise hot air balloon rides. Also look into booking WesleyVideo (on instagram) or wesleyvideo.com to have pictures and videos taken during the experience.

Excellent experience with Cielo Balloons. It was a surprise experience for my husband and we both loved it. Staff made everything really comfortable and every employee was really attentive. 5 stars!

Hot air balloon.

Such a wonderful time! Dylan is an excellent pilot. The whole ride was smooth and we were in the air for an hour. The sunrise ride is definitely worth it and compared to the other balloons in the air, this company stood out for all good reasons.

My boyfriend surprised me with this incredible, hot air, balloon ride! Woke my ass up at 4 AM but believe me it was all worth it. Josh was our pilot and was incredible but what stood out to me the most was the team and how quick and efficiently they were able to set the balloons up as well as make sure that the weather conditions were safe for us to enjoy the ride. I really liked that. The set up team were excited to take pictures for us. There was six of us plus the pilot in one basket and we all fit pretty comfortably. I wasn't expecting to have to climb into the basket (I thought maybe there was a door to get in), but everyone is super helpful for those who struggle to climb over things. I was mesmerized by the views in the whole experience . I really like the little history lesson Josh gave us about hot air balloons, and how it started. After we landed we were treated with some Prosecco, juice and delicious Bundt cupcakes. Oh, by the way, the landing was pretty seamless!

EXCELLENT!!!!! Reached out via text to get additional details for the ride and birthday options. Joe was prompt and super helpful with all my questions. Our meet up time was 4:45am, upon arriving to our meeting spot, there was a gentleman guiding us to the parking area. We then boarded their van where they took us to the take off spot. with We were able to do a last bathroom stop before leaving. Once they found the perfect spot, our adventure began, they set up so quickly that we we were up in the air in no time, and as promised we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. We were up in the air until Joe found the perfect landing location, he made us feel safe and we landed with no issues. Once we landed, we had mimosas and bundlets, perfect way to end our morning. The entire team was excellent, courteous and professional. Can't wait to come back again and share this experience with the rest of friends and family.

Random starting points?

Had to get up super early and find the meeting point in the pitch dark pre-sunrise; however it was all worth it. Kind of surprised the starting and landing point change daily due to the weather conditions. Had to land in someone's yard right over some power lines but Josh and crew made a seamless landing! Yes the mimosas and cupcakes were a good touch at the end.... Just be aware the balloon ride is only 1 hr of the total 3 from the starting point.

Also that we had to listen to a spiel about the $250 video package. All this took time and I hate waiting around. Once we got on the shuttle things progressed in a timely fashion, except we had to return to the starting point for our champagne toast. Would have been fun to do in the field. There was more time on the ground than in the balloon. Also noticed that other companies started earlier and were going much higher and lower than we were. The drone following us taking video was extremely annoying. Not the adventure I had hoped for, but enjoyable do do one time.

It was SO early, and it really was good I had a jacket before we got into the balloon because it was chilly, but it is warm up in the air and in the balloon! Watching the set up and tear down ended up feeling like a part of the experience. The ride itself was amazing. It was unreal and so pretty!!! Our pilot had so much fun knowledge of the area and kept everyone engaged and entertained. At the end, they provided a champagne toast and certificates which was such a nice touch. I am definitely glad we went with this company and highly recommend them to anyone else interested in checking out a hot air balloon ride!

I'm giving California Dreamin' Hot Air Balloon Adventures 2 stars because the actual balloon ride…read moreitself was beautiful and offered incredible views of Temecula Wine Country. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. Our day started at 4:05 AM with a hotel pickup. We were then driven to the owner's property to sign waivers. For an additional fee, guests receive a bottle of wine and a Nothing Bundt Cake. However, the bottle of wine we were given had no label whatsoever, so we had no idea what type of wine it was, where it came from, or any information about it. Afterward, we were transported to the launch site. Once there, we waited approximately 45 minutes while the balloon was being set up. During that time, three other balloon companies arrived after us and were airborne within about 10 minutes. It was frustrating to spend so much time standing around waiting. The flight itself was amazing and the reason this review is getting 2 stars instead of 1. The landing was rough and felt unstable, as though the basket could tip over. We landed on private property where the owner appeared upset that we were there, which created an uncomfortable situation for everyone. After landing, we then waited another 30-45 minutes before being allowed out of the basket while the crew deflated and packed everything up. Once again, there was a lot of standing around and waiting. When the post-flight celebration finally began, guests were offered Costco Prosecco, apple cider, and orange juice. What stood out was that one of the crew members was serving drinks with visibly dirty hands, which was not particularly appetizing. In addition, an already-open, partially consumed bottle of orange juice was brought out and served to guests. That felt unprofessional and unsanitary. The overall celebration was very underwhelming. Considering this is Temecula Wine Country, I expected something more thoughtful and polished than Costco Prosecco and a mystery bottle of unlabeled wine. And they left it on the truck What was most disappointing were several unprofessional comments made during the experience. There were jokes and remarks involving naked women and drug-related topics that felt inappropriate, especially in a business setting where guests of all ages and backgrounds are present. It made the experience feel less professional than expected. We also landed in an area surrounded by brush and were warned about the possibility of snakes while waiting for transportation. Overall, the balloon ride itself was fantastic, but the customer experience, professionalis

My guy surprised me with a balloon ride and it was soo much fun! Definitely sketchy getting there,…read morebut worth it in the end (thank you crew for helping my guy surprise me). This is something we've been wanting to do for a while now, and Compass did a great job of making everything special. The views were phenomenal! The pilot was very knowledgeable and was pointing out what everything was (very helpful for me since I don't know the area very well). This was also during fire season, so we got a cool view of the mountains with a layer of ocean fog and a layer of smoke. There was one other balloon flying the same day, and it was a bit sad to see them going higher than us. They also started before us and landed after we did. The pilot was trying to explain that it's all based on the air and whatnot, but I'm not sure how accurate that is when another balloon is showing differently at the same time. Anywho, I still really enjoyed the whole experience! Few things that weren't great: 1 I went across the street to the gas station to use the restroom before we left, and the van had followed me over there without telling me. A truck or something ended up blocking them, so I walked back across the street to look for them. I didn't have my phone or anything and had to use a stranger's phone to find out where they were. Unfortunately, the stranger also spoiled the surprise that my guy worked soo hard for 2 there was supposed to be some snackies included (cheese, fresh fruit), but we did not get any 3 things felt pretty rushed the whole time we were there Overall, would definitely recommend this to others! I truly enjoyed this. Shoutout to my amazing guy for planning it all!

This was one of those once-in-a-lifetime, bucket list experiences, and we'll never forget it. The ground crew (Hector, Alejandro, and one other team member) were also fantastic--super helpful and made the whole experience seamless. They're the best with rich, complimentary flavors in each dish! Our server was great! Very pleasant! I love the ambiance at this particular winery because the views are gorgeous! There are multiple seating areas - the main veranda, an extended seating area directly to the side of the main deck (veranda), and cabana seating (deposit required). The way the veranda is framed with greenery looking out at the hills is stunning. Miramonte is still one of my favorite places in Temecula Wine Country!

I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.
