I come here for a business lunch with three coworkers, and we had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and was very affordable. Walked in, and was immediately assaulted by a burning old oil smell. Got seated, and when I asked for a moment with drinks the waitress looked at me like I was crazy and made me feel like I had to hurry up and give an answer. Got my chips and salsa, both tasted old like they were sitting for at least a night. I couldn't even order food, because I didn't know if I would be spending so much money on expensive but nasty food. Had to leave without food, but had to pay $6.50 for one drink. Food has no flavor I order the cielito parrillada and a tres leches cake paid 66 dollars missed the beans in the order and half of the food and the cake is not tres leches I do have a chocolate which the cake they gave me ha chocolate if y'all don't have something then just say y'all don't but they obviously just care about getting the money will definitely be filing a complaint because it's unfair what they are doing and the restaurant is pretty dirty I think an inspection is needed read more

Not my first visit to this restaurant but it has been 10 years since last visit. Decided to go Sat at 5:30pm, was a little surprised that parking lot was empty with only 5 other cars. But it is July 4th weekend so that could explain the fact they were slow. I noticed some changes to the interior since my last visit and it still looks nice. They do have a lot of tables and the menu has a lot of choices. Waitstaff got our drink order right away and the waiter arrived shortly after to answer some questions we had and to take our order. We ate to many chips and salsa (like always) so we decided to get the quesadilla plate. My GF got the small and I went with the regular large. Included beans, and salad and sour green and guacamole. I add charro beans also. Pricing is mid range and food was very good. Service is very friendly and pretty fast. Will be back again for sure. read more

I have a pretty basic matrix for deciding if I like Mexican food: Salsa. Beans Margaritas Quality of the meat Like movies and wine, we all have a different opinion of what makes Mexican food good. I grew up eating Tex Mex, so it has a special place in my heart, but I'm agreeable to all the other variations. Cielioto brings a little heaven to Mexican food! The building is the first thing you notice. If you're like me, you'll anticipate that if they put as much effort into their meals as they do the restaurant, the meal will be amazing. We began nibbling on the salsas, starting with the red. It was not chunky, not watery, and was not super spicy, leaning toward mild. It had some cilantro, but not much. The green salsa was a perfect blend of flavor and consistency. Both had great flavor, but I think the green was my favorite. We ordered the queso dip as an appetizer, and were pleasantly surprised to discover it came with a side of sliced jalapeños, just like the nachos I ate as a kid! The queso was not littered with much green or red bits, and the chucks in it were super easy to navigate around. My teenager commented about how much he enjoyed not having to fish "scary things" out of his dip! For our entrees, we ordered a cheese enchilada plate with red sauce and mixed fajitas for two. The enchiladas were simple, Tex-Mex style, with ample cheese, refried beans and Spanish rice, and plenty of red sauce. Exactly what we wanted! The were tasty enough my son took his leftovers home for a midnight snack. The fajitas were good, as well. But, before I start on the fajitas, I have a side note of praise for our waiter. I ordered the fajitas "without cilantro", since cilantro is of the devil. Our waiter went and mixed us up a special batch of pico de Gallo without cilantro, something I deeply appreciated! Fajitas--they were ordinary chicken and beef fajitas. Not overly robust, not underwhelming, but standard, reliable fajitas. The meat was good and had minimal fat, the onions sizzled on the skillet, the guacamole was great, and the tortillas were homemade. What more can you ask for? This restaurant experience was fantastic. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. The place was full of locals. Tons of locals, all of whom the staff called my name and fist bumped as if lifelong friends. The locals know what's up, and this place is up on my list of places to return! read more

This place is...not what I remember it being. We walked in last night at 7ish and there were 2 other cars in the parking lot so we thought, hey, we are going to get GREAT service. As we walk in, I had to be the one to say hello instead of being welcomed in to dine at their establishment. A very nice server, Antonio, seated us. Another server came to take our order. We ordered 2 margaritas, frozen, with sugar. When the server brought our margaritas, he brought us the JUMBO size. I asked him, "Sir, are these the grande?" He said yes. I said we didn't order these. He rolled his eyes, got extremely temperamental, and then gave us away to Antonio who seated us. I'm beginning to see a LOT of smaller Mexican restaurants do this. They will bring out the large, you'll drink it not knowing, then bring the bill and they'll say, "well, you drank it so now you have to pay for it" That or they just want to build the check for a higher tip. When someone try's to hustle me, and I call them out on it, and they have a serious attitude problem, I just can't go back to support it again. Antonio did a great job finishing taking care of us, but the point is, don't try to be a crook. The food is pretty good, but service to me means more than the flavor of beef fajitas. Place aight. I've been here for lunch a bunch of times and my go to is the steak fajita nachos. It's not the best I've ever had but it's good - and I promise you won't leave still hungry. They give you good portions for your dollar. The full order is massive I always need a to-go box. The half order is just right but it depends on how hungry you are. I've also had the enchiladas and street tacos and those are good too. The staff is very attentive and always coming by the fill your water(s)/drink(s). The salsa and chips are good which I always use with my main dish. Ask for a side of jalapenos and some tabasco sauce and go to town on the nachos you wont be disappointed. I wasn't expecting much from a small town Mexican restaurant, but I was blown away. My wife had the beef fajitas with shrimp and they were fresh and delicious. Great salsa with the chips with a nice zing to it but not too spicy to eat. I had the chimichanga dinner plate. I really wasn't terribly hungry, but it was so good I finished every bite. The atmosphere was perfect. Mexican music playing loud enough to hear but not so loud as to interfere with normal, soft-spoken conversation at the table. Restaurant was clean and the lighting was subdued but still bright enough to be welcoming. It was so bad, food prices changed, amounts of food had changed and recipes had changed...not for the better! It was really bad and have never been back. Stopped here on our way home from Yogi and I'm so glad we gave it chance because it was so good! The food was great and their Raspberry margarita on the rocks was something to come back time and time again for. Staff was extremely friendly and made sure our experience was wonderful.
