My nails popped off in a week, I even got short nails that usually last me a month. I like this place for their pedicures but from one man only. The older gentleman is the only one that takes his sweet time on pedicures. He does an amazing job! The rest of the workers will force you to pay extra for the creams/gels even though you said no ..... If you end up saying no, they will rush your pedicure. ... also I tipped the young guy a 10$ even tho he cut my toenails crooked and he deadass counted all the 1s I gave him right in front of me??? I have been here a number or times over the past year and am so impressed with the quality. My acrylics last over a month when I get theme here. My gel pedicures never chip on me. Johnny is the best for pedis if you're lucky enough to get him. Not everyone here can fo nail art so be sure to specify any needs like that when making your appointment. But even one time when the woman said she didn't know how to ombre, she tried one nail and it looked great to me so she did the full set and I got compliments on it for weeks. First time coming here and I had a great experience. I recommend going with Emily if you're looking for someone patient and gentle to the touch. I paid for the Gel Pedicure which was $40 and I was not disappointed! At first when I was getting my feet scrubbed I was skeptical because of how soft she was scrubbing but after she was done I was amazed! I didn't even need a callus scrub. My feet were so smooth. I still can't get over it. When she was painting my toes she coated them so well and made sure she cleaned any extra spots off. Overall, the salon was spacious and peaceful. This review is long over due. I've been coming here for a minute.. I travel 6 hours every 2-3 weeks to SoCal and I make sure that I make an appt with Kim when I get in town. Backstory on how I ended up being lucky enough to get Kim I called to make an appt with Don and found out that he was out of town for a while. Kim took me in and WOW! I had some major damage to my nails and Kim suggested using Gel X to help grow my nails so I could go back to just getting an overlay on my natural nails. She made my nails look absolutely stunning. I usually get a pedicure as well, I have overlay on my big toe (accident with my foot caused minimal nail growth) it's VERY hard to find someone that can successfully create a realistic Normal looking toenail that matches your other toe! Kim is like a miracle worker. My toe looks NORMAL. It's looks like a regular nail. You can't even tell Its a weird toe!! Whoop! Hahahah I've been to a lot of nail shops- I travel a lot! The nail shops in San Francisco are different and expensive for the quality you get. Oh did I mention I live in the Bay Area and yes... I will continue to come and see Kim for my nails. For my hands, I get acrylic nails with gel and Kim does a great job each time! Whether it is a new set or just a fill, so far it has been a good experience and my nails always look great. I really enjoyed coming here, of course I found this place through Yelp. I went here a few weeks ago and I was definitely impressed. I called a day in advance to book my appointment and requested a mani and pedi at the same time. The gel manicure colors they could do better, I felt the selection was lacking. I saw a picture on the yelp page of a gel mani and I wanted to do the same thing but when I went there they didn't have that color so I was a little disappointed. My gel manicure lasted me a good 2 1/2 weeks which is pretty good and typical 2-3 weeks. I really liked the lady and man who did my mani and pedicure. This place is super clean, I really liked the ambience and the ceiling, I couldn't get over how beautiful the cieling looked. They also had a nice area to dry your nails. All in all I was very pleased with the service and my mani and pedicure. I definitely will be back and recommend this place highly. My only con: they need more colors for Gels. read more

Just got a pedi here from a younger man. He tried to sell me on a more expensive pedicure, which is normal. I respectfully declined. I like a regular pedi with regular polish. Once I declined his upgrade he rushed my pedicure, cut my toe nails crooked, bubbles all in my polish and just put one top layer of clear. Time to find another place for my nails. I should not get rushed sloppy service just because I don't want to upgrade my service. read more

They fit me in right away on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise but that was the only pleasant part. She rushed through my manicure as if the place was packed and did a terrible job. I didn't ask for complicated nail art but just a regular French manicure. She didn't apply lotion or do any kind of a massage but went straight to polish making the most half assed lines I've ever seen. Then she invoices me for $20 and I hand her $40 asking for change to tip. She hands me back $10! As if it was worth a 50% tip. I won't be back. read more

I try so hard to keep giving this salon another chance, but I am now at the point of having to write a review. It's one thing to get a bad nail service, but nail technicians just hound you to upsell their services. I initially went in for a gel mani & pedi ($60). I agreed to add $10 service to my pedicure ($70). The gentlemen then basically harassed me to do a more expensive gel manicure. I was looking to do one color. He convinced me to do french tip. Then kept adding more services/charges. He said he was going to make it last longer, so I agreed. In less than a week and $100 later three nails have chipped as well as my big toe on my pedicure. Friday, June 19,2020 was the first day nail salons in CA were told they can re-open. This was my first time coming in here. Very clean & friendly staff. I felt safe for the duration of my service. $45 for Gel mani & pedi (can't beat that). Everyone wearing face mask. When you first go in, they have "x" marks to mark 6 feet distancing. They will take your temperature and then make you sign a waiver that you are aware of the risks of being there etc. No complaints. Customers were also very patient since they had to wait because there were only 3 staff available. Thank you guys! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. She cut me multiple times and broke 4 of my nails down the side it was the most painful experience. I came in for a simple acrylic removal and she began to fight with me saying that they were still good and that they had done a good job when THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE. They were taking credit for work that was not even theirs. I asked specifically for a soak off and she begins to try and CUT OFF my acrylic by splitting them down the middle which is how she split my natural natural nails. Honestly, If i have to explain to a nail technician how to soak off my nails I would never trust them to give me a full set. These ladies fought with me telling me that there was no acrylic when you could literally see the sparkles from the powder still there. Literally a joke of a nail salon. read more
