This Naperville location is the last remaining in Illinois. This was our go to chain when the kids were younger. It does offer great value for a bunch of hungry kids. They will special make any pizza to your liking. I recommend you visit during busy hours lunch/dinner as there will be better selection and higher pizza turnover. My favorite is the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza and the bbq chicken is also delicious. We loved their cinnamon rolls and ordered the pack of 20 to go. Salad and soup bar was fresh and clean. Decent ambiance of the pizza spot with an arcade on the other side for kids to play at. If you and your family love pizza it is a good spot to come and visit. read more

This is the best value. Everything on the buffet is delicious. Even if pizza isn't your thing, then there is a salad bar with 5 or 6 dressings, a hot soup, pasta with a red sauce or with a white sauce. Cici's provides you the opportunity to try one of the unusual pizzas without having to commit to purchasing an entire pizza. They have barbeque chicken, macaroni and cheese, Eggo waffles and chicken, and spaghetti with teeny, tiny meatballs. The company seems to understand their demographics. After all of those pizza slices, your customers are going to be looking for dessert. They have that also! Brownies, soft cinnamon rolls and an apple struesel type "pizza". Overall the restaurant was a bit busy with families and kids. There is a small salad bar and the lettuce was not the fresh and had signs of freezer burn and some was brown and not crispy. The salad bar has dressings, ingredients you can add, and toppings. Pizza was thin and not many choices to choose. The soup broth is separate from the broth you must add your own noodles. My man took me out to Cici's pizza buffet in Naperville. I've never been here before and always wanted to check it out. This place advertised an $8.99 all you can eat buffet and the stupid part about it is the fact that drinks don't come with that deal and you have to pay extra. That's how they rip people off. I personally think the fountain drinks should already be part of that deal. They had options but my favorites were the bbq chicken pizza, spinach and plain cheese. Brought my now adult child to the first Cici's we've seen in years. Most of the restaurants in this chain closed several years ago. I used to take my kids to a Coci's when they were little, and they had very fond childhood memories. Came here tonight mostly out of sense of nostalgia and curiosity. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The staff are super friendly, the dining room is IMMACULATELY clean. The salad bar (always a good test of freshness and cleanliness IMHO) was likewise pristine. All the ingredients were very fresh, and being kept quite tidy. The pizza was the same as we remembered. Good quality; not a gourmet experience by any means, but tasty and fresh. On par with most value chains (think Papa John / Domino, not Malnati's). Dessert offerings of brownies and a frosted apple-tart style "pizza", and cinnamon buns, were likewise tasty. Nice little "games" area for the kids. All in all, this hit the sweet spot for nostalgia with the millennial child, and salad, pasta, pizza and sweets were good. Would definitely recommend for anyone who remembers this once ubiquitous chain from its glory days as a great place to feed your kid's satisfying fare on a budget. However, the salad items were fresh and the selection was good. The pizza was also fresh and they were good about replenishing it. A decent pizza selection is available. In addition to the standard selection of Cheese, sausage, vegetable, pepperoni, and Hawaiian a flatbread and some desert pizzas are available. The buffet is complete in that in addition to pizza it features a salad bar, pasta option, soup, and desert in addition to the desert pizza. This is a soft crust. So i give this 2 stars primarily because their food could be better. So first the good. It has great pizza options. You can legit ask for any type of pizza and thats really cool in my book. With all that attitude and hes not even latina. So forget asking him questions. Pizza was at most OK. Crust was soggy, felt soft. I like a crunchy pizza. Hell even deep dishes have a certain crunch to it. Was not my favorite in my opinion. I was able to fold the pizza 4 times before i could eat it. Definitely not cool. Their workers didnt clean up the plates, after a half hour i had 4 plates that were still on our table. So didnt really appreciate that. They got other customers but failed to see us... I've been to the restaurant that closed down in Plainfield and it was nothing like this. The restaurant is dirty, the food is bland and old, and the staff are careless and rude. I found a hair (that I pulled out from the center of a cinnamon roll) and when I showed it to the manager, he got in a scuffle with me-- I told him it sure wasn't my hair because it was a different color-- he's bald and proceeded to tell me that "it wasn't his hair either". Funny. He then scoffed and told them to make another batch of cinnamon rolls. What a joke, in no way is this particular location worth the ridiculous amount of money they want to charge for a terrible atmosphere, disgusting bland food, and poor service. They would make specials if you asked, otherwise they just kept making sausage or cheese. I have been to several of these but this one had the most passion bland sauce ever. Went there one day for an event and it was absolutely horrendous, the best part about the whole experience was the soda fountain when I attempted to mix all the drinks out of pure boredom and it tasted like mountain dew. This is an all you can eat pizza place. When you first walk in they have a small salad bar. They they have some pastas and usually two different sauces to choose from. They also have about eight different pizzas to choose from. I have never had any of the salad, usually because it doesn't look too appetizing. As for the pastas, the sauces are very watery and bland. The pizzas are a step above little caesar's . They seem to be quickly made and are unbelievably salty. The atmosphere here is usually filled with kids and people piling their plate six inches high. My family and I went to Cici's for the first time today since before the pandemic started. This place has gone completely downhill. The restaurant was so dirty. From the floors, counters and tables. I had to ask one of the 2 workers for a towel to clean a table to eat on. And he didn't even clean the seats which had crumbs and sauce all over them. There were only 4 customers in there so there was no reason for every table to be dirty. Once we finished eating we got up to leave and the two workers were sitting at a table talking, and the place was still a mess! I've been to cici's pizza in Naperville, and many other locations. It was good. It was cheap, and the service was great. Here, its good, its cheap. But the service sucks. Went there, will never go there again. I'd an phone order. Went there on time. Had to wait for another 20-25 minutes to get the order. The funniest part is, the place was almost deserted, and I was the only one who needed service. Again, the lady in the counter behaved as if, I'm there to take her whole life's savings. They make you any pizza you ask for and bring it to you hot. If you loose something everyone stops what they are doing to help you Find it. They even take your name & number to contact you in case they do Find your lost item. Which they did find mine and called after closing and waited for me to get there before leaving. When i asked a class for water for my son, the girl staff looked strange. When my son and me were filling the water, the girl was checking on us if we were filling any fountain drink. My wife started to eat one slice and the guy came and told her she cannot eat there. When i asked, he told it is only for buffet and i cannot eat the togo stuff there. So, I came here on a Tuesday afternoon with the two girls I babysit...for the first 30 minutes we were the only patrons and getting awesome service...the last 45 minutes, a few families came in, still great service though, but it wasn't as crowded as I've heard it gets. Seriously, when my kid gets to be of eating out each, we are totally doing CiCi's! How can you beat a meal for $2.99?!?!? They have a little salad bar (lettuce, veggies, olives and a selection of dressings), several different types of pizza and cheesey bread and cinnamon rolls and brownies for dessert! The price is $4.99 for adults, plus a drink...of course the hubs and I would never come here with just the two of us, but I definately recommend it! This location is well managed and very clean. I believe it was the manager that was there ringing us up, very friendly. EVERYTHING is peanut-safe which awesome for those peanut-allergy families! We walked into CiCis pizza elated because it was our first time there and we'd seen all of the commercials, BUT it looked, smelled, and tasted nothing like the advertisements depicted. We got the buffet, but our first stop was the washroom, so that took up a chunk of our time. The bathroom was disgusting by the way. Anyway, we started getting our food and sat down. The first bite: tasted like cardboard. We sat there contemplating whether or not we wanted a refund, because we were extremely hungry and had high expectations, but we decided to ask for a refund and the OWNER said we were in there 15 minutes too long to receive a refund. Great place for kids or a near-empty wallet. This place is dirt-cheap and it's all you can eat pizza. There are salad and pasta options available, but it's very limited. The macaroni & cheese pizza is my favorite! It appeals to the picky eater that loves carbs and comfort food. Try the pizzas you haven't had before, otherwise you will be disappointed. Plain cheese, pepperoni, etc. can be skipped. Have a slice of chicken alfredo or buffalo chicken instead. Don't see what you want? Just ask them, and they will make a fresh one for you! Pizzas rotate quickly, so it's usually only 2-3 minutes before what you want will be served. Also a small selection of desserts like brownies to polish off your meal. If you don't want to take your kids to McDonald's, or pay for a children's meal at Chili's, then Cici's is a great middle of the road option.
