I have visited Cibo a multitude of times and I love coming back! Oddly enough, every single time I've visited, I order the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. My FAVORITE thing! I rave about it to everyone! Their drinks are also delicious - they have a variety of cocktails, NA drinks (I love their non-alc G&T), and wines (during my recent visit, we tried one of the sparkling red wines and I enjoyed it!). The service is spot-on - the servers are attentive and ensure that the table's food comes out in a timely manner at relatively the same time. The ambiance of the space is lovely as well - there is ambient lighting that isn't heavy overhead-lighting, and the plates have such unique designs... honestly dining here feels like I'm in my own living room. There are plenty of booths and table seating, all providing a cozy vibe. This is also my best friend's favorite restaurant, so I am bound to visit many more times in the future! I highly recommend! Be aware that this restaurant is on Division so street parking is the only option - on weekends in the evening, it'll be difficult to find anything close by. Be prepared to walk a few minutes (but trust me, it's worth the walk).

Maybe we're slightly affected by the nicely poured cocktails at the beautiful high ceilinged bar, or by meeting the mythical magical unicorn of door dash, or by sitting at the secret "chef's table" where you get to see how great pizza is made at speed, or talking to the owner about the pizza oven he imported from Italy, but what what was I saying again?

After a long break, I came back to Cibo during my "Say goodbye to summer" frenzy and then found myself returning several times after that. Cibo is now one of my favorite places in all of Portland. I love the coziness of this place, especially at night. I usually grab a front-row seat at the bar and enjoy the lighting, the wooden bar-top, and the warmth radiating from the pizza oven. I've enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs several times. It really hits the spot! And their Margherita pizza is delightful. They also have a great cocktail list and plenty of other dishes on their menu that I'd like to try someday. Service is always great. I'll be back!

I love this spot! My boyfriend and I went on a double date with our friends the week before Christmas. The ambiance is very spacious / high ceilings, but still manages to be cozy. Our server was very attentive checking in right when we needed something without being overbearing. Everything we ordered was delicious! We started off with the bread and butter - definitely don't skip! We followed it up with pasta con vongole, ragu, spaghetti and meatballs, and pizza. Highly recommend Cibo if you're looking for great ambiance and amazing food!

My son made a reservation for a family's birthday. We were seated right away, as we entered the restaurant. After the rest of our party arrived, menus were passed out, our drink orders taken promptly as were our food orders. One son was saying: he'd want to come here for his birthday! The birthday boy was given not one but two desserts (one to go). The seating was a bit tight, the son in the middle was kicking the guy in the middle. I was also being kicked (accidentally), by the 6 yrs. old in front of me. As he was being entertained by 'a lot of ants' crawling on the wall to his right. The service was outstanding! So was the food.

From the pizza, to pasta, to mussels, and salad, Cibo is a great choice. The bar selections are great, and the staff is always on point. The pizza's are a winning choice and always a great pick. Location is central, and great for a hang night or date night. We love this place. One of Portland's hidden gems.

What a fun and classy place. Great table service and clean restrooms. We had the pepperoni and cibo pizza was amazing. Glad our son suggested this restaurant.

I had the hanger steak which came with Tuscan fries and sautéed spinach. Steak was perfect medium rare. Chef's kiss. Vegetables were delicious and well-seasoned. The potatoes were crispy and tasty, but could use a slight dash of salt. Service was excellent. This place is great for groups or dates.

Kicked off Portland's Dumpling Week at Cibo with their spinach and ricotta ravioli and beef cheek ravioli were delicious! We also ordered the Soppresata pizza which was a little spicy with the calabrian chilies but subdued by the honey. The bolognese pasta was creamy and meaty! We loved Cibo and can't wait to try another pizza next time!

This place is always awesome. It's the right balance of swanky and comfy with the low lights and big deep booths. The pizza is incredible and I also really love the antipasto plate. It changes often but is always super well rounded and satisfying. The mussels are also one of my all time favorites here.

Is the Hhapy Hour only at the bar or throughout the restaurant?

    It's throughout the whole restaurant!

Is there still Happy Hour? I don't see it on the menu

Yup! They have a happy hour and a late night. If you look through the menu pictures you'll find the happy hour menu, it's smaller

A lot of dive bar food is made with beer whether the menu says it or not and it is usually just a tragedy. I get it - drunk folks do not care what they are eating but the menu is about the same at most places. A friend wanted to attend a Shakespeare interactive play here. Since it was starting at 7pm and I live in Beaverton I was not going to have time to get over here and eat so I looked up the bar online. I was curious at the Mediterranean food but also very happy since that is not made with beer. My friend arrived before me and grabbed up perfect seats. We realized it was going to be a full house so we had better order food which was super easy to do. Can I also throw in that on their wall behind the bar they have chips you can just grab from the bartender... FRITOS, which are one of my favorite things. But thank you - just that... I was not drinking and just having soda with the show and some food but I could genuinely see having a few drinks and just grabbing one for a small snack. Our food, even with the bussel busy Friday night, came pretty fast and all the folks taking orders and serving were super friendly, wanting to help. I wanted the chicken gyro but they ran out so I gave their falafel a go - the falafel was a touch on the over mark but was still pretty delicious and I opted for a 'side' salad which I thought was strange to upcharge $3 for until it arrived and was INSANE... so huge! I got a side of onion rings too which were ridiculously good...seriously some of the best damned rings I have had and I could not stop eating them so that, my friends, was dinner... I had to take most of the gyro and salad to go. That salad ...later...I had an avocado I needed to use up at home and with their dressing. It was incredible! Amusing thing is that there is a vegan restaurant my friend had wanted to try near here and we did. Had the WORST experience and this was perfect... when we are over here this just earned itself a place as a go to spot for me. I might even drink here sometime HAHAHAHA!

The fantasy and the Dungeons & Dragons themes are really fun and totally calls to me. So therefore with our first experience here I stocked up on a lot of swag- shirts! My first beer with this brewery was a Red Ale or Amber Ale, The Lady of Embers. This was a very enjoyable first time beer with this brewery. Flavor features in this beer are Caramel, a roastiness, maltiness, biscuity and a dry finish. It proved to be a fun beer to try out for the first time and we were eager to come back and try more of their beers. A bit of time passed and we were able to do that. This time we got three different beers of different types to give us a well rounded experience with their beers. Cascade Falls was the first beer on the second experience that we delved into. This beer is a Cream Ale and I haven't had one in a while so I was quite eager to get a hold of another one again. This particular Cream Ale had peaches and vanilla as the primary flavors and they were pretty good. It was sweet but not heavy handed which made this beer pleasant. This beer was a collaboration beer with another brewery, Thunder Island Brewing Company. After that I moved into dark beer territory and got a stout by the name of The Ashbringer. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because I enjoyed the flavor profile so very much! This stout has flavor highlights of roastiness, a spiced presence, coffee, chocolate and some clove. It was a really well made stout...well balanced and one I really got into. I believe actually this was my favorite beer out of the several I have tried. The last beer was a Marzen beer, a type that isn't too terribly common but always a good one when I can get a hold of it. The name of this beer was the Hasta La Raiz. This is a nice light bodied beer that has maltiness, roastiness, some fruitiness and a bit of a floral presence. It was a fun one to try out for sure. TPK Brewing also serves food and it's quite good! We grazed off of several different appetizers here that we really enjoyed. The first one was the Yuca Frita which was Yucca cut into big, thick French Fries sort cuts and we dipped it into a green sauce as well as a pico de gallo type of dip which enhanced the experience. In addition to that we got a beef empanada that Steve and I split along with the same sauces...also excellent and then to round out our snacking here we got the Arepitas De Queso which is a white masa cake mixed with cheese and then deep fried. It also had the same sauces as the previous two appetizers but we were fine with that... we were all about it and deep into it. Steve and loved this place and would be thrilled to come back to enjoy more of their food and beers !
