I've been coming here since I was in middle/high school for one main reason, the Greek salad! The portion is huge and decently priced. The lettuce and spring mix is always fresh and the house dressing is the best I've had. I have heard really good things about Ciao Bella so I went out on a limb and ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon. Since it was at the top of the seafood menu, I figured this must be a signature dish. I was disappointed to discover that the salmon was bland and dry and the vegetables were overcooked and soaked in oil. If you are going to charge $20 for a takeout dish, it should be on point. This dish should have beautiful colors, bright green beans and red peppers, instead the veggies were brown and wilted. Really bummed I shelled out the cash on this sub-par meal. read more

Most of roll-ups in this place have very little meets in them, lots of salad and almost no dressing or seasoning of any type. The are just blend, served with a side order of potato chips the cheapest one can buy. Their panini are absolutely dreadful, for some blizzard reason they are served wrapped in oiled paper. The bread is very oily, tough as a Mexican line cook, and one step removed from being burned. Inside is a copious amount of cheep mayonnaise and rubbery strips of panfried beef which is substituted for roast-beef. It was chewy, merely worm inside and covered with chunks of mayo. Shocking. Sometimes they put the same grilled rubbery beef in their roast beef roll ups. Despite the pathetic performance and lack of good ingredients, the place is usually packed, as it is cheep and the portions are huge. As a result the restaurant staff appears to be in a complete denial taking the attitude that they serve best food in town. read more

As soon as she came home right into the bathroom. Called the restaurant and told them and manager said he checked the pasta and it looked fine. I have ordered from here and never was I overly impressed by their food. I mean it's good but they are way overpriced. I can get just as good if not better of a salad delivered from George's Pizza II on Lake Ave. I also just placed an order and asked if I could get either the hummus with pita chips or the pita chips with hummus instead of with marinara and mozzarella and first I was told that they couldn't do it because hummus was more expensive (its listed for less then the pita chips) and then after that I was told that they just didn't have time for a custom order. Seriously! It probably takes longer to make the pita chips with the warm marinara and mozzarella then to put the hummus in a to go container!!! What happened to making the customer happy!?!?!? Due to my boycott, we haven't ordered here in forever, but like I said, great food... And sometimes my wife convinces me that she needs a Ciao Bella calzone in her life or else she will freak out. So we order online and realize that they charge a THREE dollar delivery fee! Is paying the three dollars going to prevent me from sending my kids to college??? No... But literally no other place does this. So I immediately swear them off and say that I'm done with them for the rest of my life... But again, the wife... I've gotta make her happy... So fine, ONE last order. The driver comes to the house, and I'm like hey what's up with this three dollar delivery fee, I don't remember that being a thing. And the guy was like "dude, I don't know, I've worked here for a million years, whatever". His tone and his face were both so punchable.... This place is so arrogant. So i decided to give this place a try because i was in the mood for some shrimp alfredo. I called to place and order for delivery and the worker was extremely patient and nice but i was a bit confused on the price of what i had ordered. My total for one shrimp alfredo and a 2 liter drink came out to $33. The website had said that just a fettuccine alfredo was 11.99 so that already threw me off that adding shrimp was an extra $13 so i called back to confirm the prices and the nice man passed the phone to the manager whose name i believe was Mike. He was truly the definition of poor customer service for a manager. I just wanted answers for my order that I was excited to try out and he was absolutely rude with an attitude. That being said I was disappointed with the management and how he replied to the situation so i decided to cancel the order. As soon as i nicely said i would like to just cancel my order he hung up on me. That has never happened before and i want to say is this isn't how managers deal with customer issues and to this dear manager, you are awful and because of you i will not be going to Ciao Bella. I always try to give this place the benefit of doubt because everyone I know loves it. But every one of my experiences has been terrible. Their food is bland and most of their pasta sauces are watered down. Not to mention I ordered a chicken Caesar salad but got no chicken and received a box of lettuce with about 5 croutons.... I payed $11 for a box of lettuce that costs $2 at the grocery store. Not mention their customer service is terrible, every time I've been in there the staff are rude and always have an attitude. One of my favorite things to eat his garlic bread. For some reason they give you a garnish bread instead with your meals and it is as hard as a brick and as flavorless as a piece of Styrofoam. They also aren't very nice :-(. I love their food but I simply cannot go with more than three stars. They do have a fantastic steak and cheese sandwich tho, And I love steak and cheese. When I think about steak and cheese I think about the beautiful sunset with grasshoppers jumping all around me and dogs chirping in the sky.
